Is it always necessary too wear a dust-mask while sweeping in a Pelican? As long as the air conditioning works (so you can have the windows shut) it shouldn't be that bad. I've never operated an Elgin Pelican, but I operate a Tymco 600.
@Caden Doggett I was a young child in the early 60s in southwest Minnesota and we had a street sweeper made by Wayne. It was a 3-wheeled 59 model street sweeper and it was yellow and all the kids in the town loved it. I've always loved the shape and oddity of the 3-wheeled street sweeper.
@Caden Doggett all the kids in town wanted to ride in that street sweeper but the sweeper man only let us sit in it while he was filling his tanks up of water... We all had fun with it.
My 7 year old cousin loves street sweepers and couldn't stop watching this video! his eyes were locked on the screen.

Been driving sweepers for 2 years now. It can get boring here and there but it's a good job because the day goes by quickly when you're sweeping.

Does it have water for the brush
It will rust with all that water you spray on it
Don't worry, it'll be ok.
You've got to do the wash down everyday otherwise the dirt gets clogged up and messes your machine up,,,got it 👍😁
I used to follow this thing around back in the early 60s. It was exactly yellow like this one made by Wayne street sweepers a three wheeler.
