I like the 2nd mission, it's very interesting, I removed my grandfather in 2012 at the age of 3. (I'm Russian, don't judge strictly) my like game, Steven Spielberg wrote the plot for the game
@@aetherman8291 Same here as well, i usualy having a good time blasting my way out on this missions! Got to try to do the stealthy options next time :D
Because of that immersion breaking point, I decided to kill the the three soldiers (after having turned off the alarm). My imagination was that the three soldiers just arriving still needed a few seconds to register what was going on before they put two and two together. So while they courteously stopped in front of me, I used the element of surprise to shoot all three of them with the silenced pistol. I don't know if the AI was a little slow in the moment, but I was able to fire three shots sucessfully without any of the three soldiers reacting.
I remember failing this mission multiple times because i didn't understand what "holster" meant and kept walking with my weapons out and proud. Replayed it in my late teens and had my mind blown.
True. That almost made up for the German NPCs in the "Submarine Pen" mission who could crouch behind crates, hang their Kar98s over the top or around the corner, fire blindly and STILL score first-round hits. 🤣
How is it similar? COD1 didn't give this level of freedom, nowhere near it actually, as much as it was fun to shoot up everyone in cod, game was too scripted compared to MOH AA which gave insanely ahead of its time stealth segments.
I play this game since 2008 and didnt know how to stealth that mission correctly till see that video, thank you. Saving it to my playlist when I have time to play MOHAA again
The funny thing in this game if you dress as an officer and put on the alarm it's YOU that these Germans would shoot. Imagine how many actual German officers that would be dead due to stupid friendly fire if this irl.
Yeah, realistically, if you turned the alarm without any guard knowibg your bluff, the facility would be put on a scramble but without you being the suspect. if anything, it would help you on your getaway.
@@javierganzarain4559 Omg i remember that mission around that age and when i dropped the bombs in the submarine i had no clue what to do or where to go xd.
I really like this get the STG mission and the subpen mission. The King Tiger missions are cool to. I also have a thing for hte first few with Grillo. The Britanny and Trondheim missions I recall were a nightmare. DDay was a pita to...I could never seem to not find the mine at the last part.
Out of a desire to keep things "realistic", when it came to obtaining the Level 2 pass, I decided to simply walk at the edge of the room, walk towards the table from behind, quickly grab the pass then retrace my steps, instead of shooting the officer as you did at the 1:47 mark. The approach is a little difficult as angle, distance and speed matters in ensuring you can move away before the officer asks you to show your pass. My reason for not killing the officer is that there is no way in real life the soldiers patrolling the corridor wouldn't see the officer's dead body lying on the ground. And even if moving bodies in the game had been implemented, there is no hiding blood in real life.
Waaaaiiiiit, you could turn off the alarms and shit and they wouldnt suspectyou after the explosion? Daaang lol. I always assumed that was it..bomb go boom, shoot out ensues haha
Nice! I wish steam had these old medal of honer games so that I can play them without finding a laptop with a disc drive or having to get a optical drive disk which I wouldn't mind though!
How does one play this game on a laptop since the Windows update that killed the startup 15 years ago? (Without having to re-write code and do things inside laptop coding a non-techie person can't do?) I still have the laptop with CD/DVD drive I used to play on.
I tried to disable the alarm after the explosion but I guess I did it too late. I need to check in my old boxes to find back MOHAA. That game stills a master piece compared to AAA FPS.

You will need a no-CD patch to play this game on Windows 10 (or Windows 11 as well). After you download the patch go into your MOHAA directory and drag and drop the executable file from the patch on there. If you're having issues you can purchase the game on GOG or Origin.

Every mission. It was such a fun game. I remember playing the multiplayer as a kid. It was a blast.
Every mission also. EXCEPT when you're playing on hard difficulty...
The U Boat pen mission was my favourite.
Especially the Normandy based missions

I don't think I ever tried either to shut the alarm off. XD
Yea
Me too 😂
After all those years i just find out you dont need to fight your way out in this mission
Same! Very impressive 😮
4 year old me always chose violence
Ahahah same, fucking hardcore mod 😢
I didn't know you could turn off the alarm after getting the Stg... Great game!
The music in this game is just something else man. Fucking epic!
Growing up, I had no clue that this was a stealth mission. I went guns blazing each time.
Lol, same
Yep, that MG42 was a pain to take too!
3:40
A loud explosion and 1 scientist and 1 guard corpse near it .. and they didnt suspicious you 😂
Every Impostor’s wet dream.
German Guard: How did this happen?
OSS Agent: Oh, they just simply dropped dead?
German Guard: Ach! No sweat. It happens here all the time.
And the 1st guard just says "hallo" to you. LOL

What an atmosphere this game has 😍 unbelievable
It's incredible how smooth this game feels.

Games like this inspired modern fps, glad we had them
Oo..memories
This music still gives me goosebumps
3:10 was that a freakin double hit on two targets with a single bullet !?
Impressive for a 20 year old game!
Yes, the silenced pistol was easily the most powerful gun in the game. More than the sniper rifles.
True. That almost made up for the German NPCs in the "Submarine Pen" mission who could crouch behind crates, hang their Kar98s over the top or around the corner, fire blindly and STILL score first-round hits. 🤣
When one realises it has been over 20 years since they first played MOHAA. "Nostalgic"...
I remember a similar mission aboard the Tirpitz in COD1. Such good times. RIP Captain Price.

Well done. I didn't knew how to act after planting that bomb in StG depot, and then I must go out in the biggest rush.
I remember a similar mission in MoH with the same stealth mechanics but dedicated to destroying a submarine
Yes, that was the second level, in Norway. My dumb ass 9yo brain couldn't process I was supposed to go stealth so I got through it guns blazing
