I had a lot of fun in Wildlands and enjoyed the closed Beta with a friend of Breakpoint so I decided to buy the game. First day of official launch (4.10.), the game servers were down for over three hours. Then whenever I used the special gimmick for the sharpshooter (the "pulse" thing you shoot), it bugged my game in a way that I couldn't switch to my normal guns or anything. So it was great after stealthily taking down a camp and to make sure I had everyone on my map, I used the gimmick and then the game bugged. By now I have finished the main story of Breakpoint, but there were times I had to make myself play the game. I know it is a game where you have to recon, so find information and all, but every. single. fucking. mission: go there, find that, go there, find that, oh yeah and now go THERE and do that and HA HA! No, the main target is still at another location. Now that I am done with the story, I have zero desire to continue playing. I will check out the DLC / Raid out via Twitch and TH-cam, but I am very glad I did not buy the gold / ultimate edition, like I had first planned. Great video!
This game bummed me out so hard after playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Thankfully I never bought it, only played the beta. You might like Wildlands though, it's fairly decent.
IKR. I first stumbled onto my first mumble rapper on youtube. I honestly thought it was some 50cent deal ... where they hired some crack fiend criminal to rap as some promotional tactic. Then I realised it was an actual "THING". And somewhere a kitten died.

I'm probably late to the party, but just wanted to share some gun nut knowledge. The smuck about silencers and weaker damage is real, but not in the sense that putting a silencer just makes the gun weaker. Let me explain. When you put a silencer in a gun with regular ammo, it is made silent on shooting, but the bullet can still create a sonic boom and thus render the silencer completely useless. However, when you use sub-sonic bullets you don't have to worry about the sonic boom because this type of bullets doesn't fly as fast, hence a lot weaker than any other bullet. So, when in the game you put a silencer and the gun gets weaker, it's still stupid because you should be able to add sub-sonic bullets to the game for a more realist experience, but it isn't just stupid, because the game just skips to the part where you are using sub-sonic bullets. Not that it'd make any difference for such a stupid game and this late time for commenting... but hell... I just like talking about guns XP Oh, upon continuing watching, you knew about this. haha Now I feel like an idiot.
Can you mention this on a battlefield 2042 video? Cause that game has both suppressors and subsonic ammo... and both reduce damage All jokes aside, that's actually pretty neat, thanks for the gun Knowledge
Subsonics aren't inherently " weaker ". The muzzle energy delivered by the subsonics can be HIGHER in much of the effective range due to the fact that most subsonics are made subsonic by being made heavier weight and those larger projectiles deliver more energy on target across much of the effective range despite the lower velocity due to weight. For instance BLK vs 556. Also silencers actuality add muzzle velocity same as a longer barrel would. I've never understood why suppressed rounds / weapons were cripplingly weaker in games but I suppose balance. But if you take a subsonic .308 to the head or chest at 500 yards, you have a pretty equal chance of not making it. Your body probably wouldn't care the difference.
I have some insight :) I CBT'd both Wildlands and Breakpoint and before anyone blames me or anyone who did test Breakpoint, My testing was limited to two hours of trying to get the game to work and 10 mins of play before I gave up. Kiloton, I don't know if you remember but I did recommend a while ago that you try Wildlands and I'll stand by that. Wildlands was good, they actually made a good game that worked, was enjoyable to play and had an offline mode. All Ubi needed to do is basically take Wildlands and just give us a new map and mission, they didn't need to change a damn thing and the majority of us would have been very happy. Needless to say I haven't bought this shite either.
I think I have 2 copies of Wildlands thanks to giveaways on different launchers. I will give it a try mate. I hear positive stuff about it. Its a sad admission that most of the reasons for the moments fun I had in Breakpoint, was when it reminded me of what I wanted The Division 2 to be. Hopefully the shock profit warning and share readjustment will get Ubisoft to re-evaluate their current tactics of swindling their fans. Thank you as always for your support.

2:21 and 9:22 What you have to understand is what they mean by "diverse", "inclusive", and "representation" is not what probably you and I mean by it. From what I understand you think those terms should be based on the character/actions of the person, but what they think is purely based on the color of skin. And by those definitions, they are being diverse, inclusive, and representing.
This review encapsulates all that needs to be said. It’s amazing how bad Breakpoint was vs Wild Lands. I saw the micro transaction social hub and it was game over for me.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is infinitely superior in ... every way, I think. People say they control and that the feeling are the same between the two but I just remember Breakpoint being challenging in that aspect.
So I just wanna preface this with the fact that I can totally understand why people dont like The Division or the sequel. I'm someone who really enjoys the second Division specifically. I typically play in a squad of 3-4 consisting of my younger brothers and it's always a good time. I've always been playing Ghost Recon since the PS2 era. My favorite is Future Soldier (we still play it to this day). I cannot even begin to understand why Ubisoft would think that shitting all over Ghost Recon for profit would be a good idea. I'd imagine that the board room was something like, "Hey Tom's dead and EA is making a mint, why dont we do it too while this shit isnt banned and shit all over any good will we have left!"
As a seasoned Ghost Recon player, the fact you made this video 3 years ago and every single word is still true in 2023 made me laugh so hard,, it almost gave me hope im gonna finally kick the bucket from heart attack. Game still runs like crap, they managed to fix about 2 out of 500 reported issues and occasionaly try to sell the game for less than 10 quid :D :D :D . But the gatekeeping within the community stays the same. They still call this the ''best Ghost Recon title'' to this day. Fabulous video Sir!
Do you think they now have a universal template ... put map in this corner make map round/square, put health bar here make health bar round/square, put ammo count in other corner make ammo bar round/square ... press big button let computer make game
I don't know who's worse, lil Wayne or the women of ubisoft. At least lil Wayne isn't pretending to be inclusive and diverse or against racism and sexism.

Here’s the problem with UBI, they think the issues that plague their games are a lack of diversity. Actually, even worse , they use this play of ‘reaching a wider audience’ , not for more people to enjoy their games, but to have a wider market to manipulate into monetization schemes. They don’t want a broader audience for the sake of enjoying games but to have a wider pool of people who they can fleece. Their actual issue is a severe lack of exclusivity in their games. They are like an ice cream store that only sells vanilla ice cream but hires people from every race to work there as an attempt to claim they care about ice cream diversity and inclusivity. Sure they will get attention for it but it won’t matter because the only retention they will get is from people that only love vanilla. But even their vanilla games are still not that good.

Something I've learned...most of the time if the company uses a famous actor as a selling point then theres something wrong with the game. Speaking of famous actors...heres some trivia for you....you can kill John Bernthal's character, Walker, right at the beginning of the game if you know where the last mission will take place. After that his place in cutscenes will be replaced with his Lieutenant. You can kill.....the main villain....at the beginning.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands was one of my favourite games. This shit show though, nah. It just wasn't my thing from the get though with all this futuristic bollox.
Axis Mundi Ik, wildlands felt really realistic and immersive while still being arcadey enough to be a fun action shooter. Breakpoint feels like The Division on a map that’s way bigger than it should be

I hate the "suppressor lowers velocity" bullshit in video games, integrally suppressed guns will, but that is far from screwing an external can on the end of the gun like they show in the game. It's like someone once told a game dev integral suppressed rifles have lower velocity and they didn't understand what it meant, so added it, and every single other game dev just did it too.
It felt like early christmas when I saw the notification. Mutton chops, banjo, a fuck ton of logic and common sense, what's not to like? Absolutely brilliant video! Thank you!

Just back from a local food market with some amazing mac'n cheese, England stuffed New Zealand 19:7 and I hit TH-cam to see a new 21 kiloton vid that is surely an hour and nine minutes of microtansaction central being ripped a new one!
I think your review is slightly longer than sum of the the time I spent in-game during beta. Minus the immense span of time it took me to set keybinds, obviously. Woke up to the news that Ubisoft stock has tanked by almost 25%, though. So that was nice.
These are the major gameplay flaws I noticed from the most current demo that has kept me from buying this game. 1. Silly ass body throwing animation to cover every single time. 2. The way our view gets extremely limited when proned by shrubs. There should be little to no visual obstruct here no matter how realistic. 3. The way our character blocks a good portion of the screen when in interiors. Even with the new camera option “Far Away“ it’s still dynamic and not very smart. 4. Vehicles feel like a downgrade from Wildlands. Something about the Physics. 5. There is a huge delay when you are prone and then move forward, like a whole second almost. 6. The cover animations feel forced, like they have too much magnet or something. 7. We can no longer strafe side to side when in prone like Wildlands. They replaced it by giving us full body pivoting but why not give us both? All they had to do was let us strafe when we aimed down sights. 8. The AI seems pretty irresponsible at times. 9. Character’s steps are slippery and don’t feel as grounded. This is all I could pick out from my demo session. I was looking for improvements and I found some but not enough to kept me from uninstalling before even finishing. Immersion mode has not saved this. This game needs a lot of help!
I was fucking gob smacked mate. In farcry they perfected the art of making every vendor a pedovendor, but with Breakpoint they extended it to the camp fire interactions. Christ, next stop they will have some little drone shop follow you around. (they will steal this idea)

Sat down with bucket of popcorn for this. Brill review. Love your style. Loved the UBISOFT woman quotes against the rappers quotes. Have you stoped people buying this game ? Too fucking right you have. Well done.
What made those parts even funnier was the music and the amount of time you got to read the woman's quotes RIGHT before something from Lil Wayne came up! Reminded me of the many times I'm shown hypocrite videos of someone saying one thing, then shown a recent or previous video/audio/writing of them saying the exact opposite (Like Justin trudeau virtue signalling up till a picture of him doing blackface went up! Now THAT was comedy gold! I get a good rush watching virtue signalling blow up in the signalers face because they missed "certain details!" Like Ubisoft's case with trying to show how "Female Pro" they are....and partnering with a guy who can't go 10 secs without saying the B word or "whore" This isn't the rip on Lil Wayne as that's a different thing! It's to point out you can't support two things that are in conflict with each other! Though we know Ubisoft were more concern with getting Wayne's fans to purchese the game over not looking like hypocrites and you know what they say about "having your cake and eating it too!")
Your note about drones being able to spot hostile targets and tell the difference between friendly and unfriendly isn’t unrealistic. Modern day military tech can easily do that.

It's sad to see what they did to Ghost Recon. After Rainbow Six, it's another Tom Clancy franchise destroyed by [current year] Ubisoft. To me, the setting, the drones and the bland antagonist are proofs that Ubisoft is scared of world building in a Tom Clancy universe.
@R F I don't think they care. They've turned Rainbow Six into Overwatch (Siege) and the next Rainbow Six game is a 3-player co-op game about killing aliens.
Luckily and amazingly coming from Ubisoft the game is actually very good !! Aurora is not that appealling as Bolivia however the whole game options + mechanics + Spartan mod makes this game one of the best tactical shooter nowadays
Tbh I find Aurora way more interesting to explore. The old Cold War era bases that are run down, the modern cold architecture of silicone valley, the ancient villages and monuments of a long gone islander culture, the rundown camps of the Outcasts, and the aggressive, angry style of the drone and Skelltech equipment. But to each their own, I’m not saying one is better then the other

Ubisoft likes to be inclusive of rappers who have in some cases, morally dubious stances, sing about disturbing issues. Much like the mainstream media.
Where to start? The wonderful, inspiring quotes by the women of EABisoft, accompanied by some of Lil Wayne's most raunchy lyrics is just pure fucking comedy gold!! 😂, well played sir, well played.
21kiloton: Drops a 1 hour video.
Me: "Oh this is going to be good"
Edit: Heard someone call this game their "GOTY for 2019" in full seriousness. I'll link you the video so you can watch it.
Plz link it. I wanna make fun of this fool
Soildrev - " The critics where WRONG about ghost recon breakpoint (PC review)" that was part one, and " so ghost recon is a broken mess huh..." ( This is the video where he called it his GOTY)
Yeah I seen that. The comment section is full of people literally saying stuff like "that's what I like to hear."
@@hueypancakes597 solidrev is a fucking fool.
I unsubbed from him after that video. He just comes off as that typical dad that walks into GameStop and buys the latest overhyped and by-the-numbers AAA trash that gets released on an annual basis.
You are amazing 21 Kiloton. When I want to laugh and cry at the same time, I know which channel to click.
Suppressors get red hot under use. The fact that it burns your hand is accurate. They get hot even from semi-auto... which is why suppressor jackets are a thing.
Games even a downgrade of wildlands
@rzr fan 👍
Ghost Recon: Island Thunder was the bomb yall
Hell yes it was. I still have it, Desert Siege, and the original on CD. So sad what this franchise has become.
Ghost Recon: Cashpoint
Mongoose556 that’s exactly what it is 😂
@@ProjectChaos77 this isn't your daddy's Ghost Recon sadly :(
I had a lot of fun in Wildlands and enjoyed the closed Beta with a friend of Breakpoint so I decided to buy the game.
The Women of Ubisoft vs. Lil Wayne segments were some of the funniest stuff I've seen.
Further to that, it's tarnished the reputation of the late great writer Tom Clancy.
I stopped paying attention and when I looked back the first thing I heard was "jizzing in girl's eyeballs without their consent."...
This game bummed me out so hard after playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Thankfully I never bought it, only played the beta.
You might like Wildlands though, it's fairly decent.
I think the reason they dont know about Lil Waynes lyrics is that nobody can understand what those rappers are saying without subtitles these days.
IKR. I first stumbled onto my first mumble rapper on youtube. I honestly thought it was some 50cent deal ... where they hired some crack fiend criminal to rap as some promotional tactic. Then I realised it was an actual "THING". And somewhere a kitten died.
Meanwhile Bethesda: "Hold my Beer"
Hold my Nuka Cola Dark
@Bruce Wade
The beer is more stale than the games they are pushing out by now with all of the passing around.
DEV1: Jef, Jef, we still need a new title for the new game. Management expects it in an hour.
DEV2: please I have too much work already, I am just debugging a breakpoint ...
DEV1: breakpoint it is then
I'm probably late to the party, but just wanted to share some gun nut knowledge.
Not that it'd make any difference for such a stupid game and this late time for commenting... but hell... I just like talking about guns XP
Oh, upon continuing watching, you knew about this. haha Now I feel like an idiot.
It's all good bro, he may have known but many, including I did not. Thanks for the info.
Can you mention this on a battlefield 2042 video? Cause that game has both suppressors and subsonic ammo... and both reduce damage
All jokes aside, that's actually pretty neat, thanks for the gun Knowledge
Thank you as always for your support.
hey carefull buddy, my mom doesnt drink. she takes xanax and weed to fall asleep so i can take her credit card and by new taktical socks for my charakter.

This is probably the most Savage video review I've ever seen for a video game.
I fucking loved it.
This will be one of your classics. You should have Lil Wayne sign you release these vids on LP. The English areso much fun to listen to. Simply Golden.
@43:40 what's going on is a shit attempt at copying Dark Souls bonfire system.
Best youtuber out there! Much love!
30:12 Wtf is wrong with her blink Ubisoft? Is she as hollow as this fecking game?

Go broke, get woke, finally croak.
Proud to play MAJOR part in this GOTY
9:10 CONsumerism is CONsuming CONsumers.
**CONsumerism**
is a social and economic order that encourages the acquisition of goods and services in ever-increasing amounts. With the industrial revolution, but particularly in the 20th century, mass production led to overproduction-**the supply of goods would grow beyond consumer demand, and so manufacturers turned to planned obsolescence and advertising to manipulate consumer spending.**
That's awesome. RPG games used to be so bold.
I played the crap out of wildlands and did everything to 100% completion and that's not something I do very much. I played breakpoint for 2 hours and was pissed I couldn't get my money back.
Nice job landing your heli on top of that mountain. I guess ubisoft couldn't be bothered to put realistic wind in the game.
Good spot. I should have probably got a massive updraught just as I closed with it. Ive watched enough helicopter rescue fails to know its unlikely to pull shit like that off. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for saving me the price and frustration of this shitstorm.
This shit won't stop until we stop buying any of Ubisoft's garbage, they haven't put a good game out in over a decade.
Don't jizz in my eye and tell me it's raining.
I was late getting Ghost Recon Wildlands and loved it when I played it last year. So I was excited to play Breakpoint right after. Within 20 minutes I shut it off and never touched it again.
Breakpoint feels like The Division on a map that’s way bigger than it should be
100% with what you said.. This game may follow the other online only shooter SOCOM from the early 2000’s..Fans spoke and were heard by not purchasing the game.
29:08 an absolute and utter fascist statement (wahmen of ubisoft). I know it, because I lived in a former socialist country. So we can't even tell jokes ????
I hate the "suppressor lowers velocity" bullshit in video games, integrally suppressed guns will, but that is far from screwing an external can on the end of the gun like they show in the game. It's like someone once told a game dev integral suppressed rifles have lower velocity and they didn't understand what it meant, so added it, and every single other game dev just did it too.
oh man. this was one of the best reviews, no, it is one of the best youtube videos, i ever saw in my life. thanks

Absolutely brilliant video! Thank you!
Thank you very much Messy. And thanks for the support on Twitter recently btw mate.
I am not sure today can get much better. The start of a week off work.
"even your campfire is microtransaction vendor" omg, that almost killed me :D :D :D amazing video with very precise comment like always!!
I was fucking gob smacked mate. In farcry they perfected the art of making every vendor a pedovendor, but with Breakpoint they extended it to the camp fire interactions. Christ, next stop they will have some little drone shop follow you around. (they will steal this idea)

Thank you for informing me about the word "spaffing". Fucking hilarious. 10/10.
You are very welcome. Spaffing is a fine word, which should be used more often. Always a pleasure to bump into another Man of Culture.
Yeah, we just put IR patches on the to of our helmets
RFID tags or similar would help with that.
Yea IR patches or RFID tags. I know the average TH-cam comments scroller isn’t gonna know what that stuff is or what it’s used for.

Me: I am thinking of starting an online store...
Ubisoft: Ghost Recon breakpoint just dropped! It IS an online store!
And to remind everybody Ubisoft has one AAA title with a female lead only that being Beyond Good And Evil and that's likely never going to change.
Often the objection to obvious pandering is labeled as hate. It can’t be helped I guess.
17:00 Did you check what exactly was happening?
Luckily and amazingly coming from Ubisoft the game is actually very good !! Aurora is not that appealling as Bolivia however the whole game options + mechanics + Spartan mod makes this game one of the best tactical shooter nowadays
Tbh I find Aurora way more interesting to explore. The old Cold War era bases that are run down, the modern cold architecture of silicone valley, the ancient villages and monuments of a long gone islander culture, the rundown camps of the Outcasts, and the aggressive, angry style of the drone and Skelltech equipment. But to each their own, I’m not saying one is better then the other
@@stuglife5514 yeah the cold war era bases are the best part absolutely right
The old culture things is good stuff too.
The thing is considering well all buildings in Bolivia looked the same , same brick empty houses
