Damn right! If I was in Huey’s position, I’d be extremely frustrated of the fact that it took me all the time in the world to be prepared for anything and yet, all it took was some people to not only that came into the house unannounced but they failed to follow simple instructions that could mean life or death. To be honest, I assumed that you would say that this is exactly like how it went down when COVID showed up and when you said “Ni**a”, I was like “Oh, look at you now being bold and gangsta”. Hahaha When Van Housen arrived because she received word about the Freemans having supplies, it’s another problem people have nowadays after Robert was fed up about one disaster after another. Individuals like them fail to understand that this is the world we live in: there will always be something bound to happen, either by nature or from our own doing and unfortunately, despite years of going through this nonstop, we still don’t take precautions that are essential in the long run. If my family were the only ones the neighborhood that are actually still standing, everyone else can take a hike because they should be responsible for their own safety and wellbeing.
Fr!!!! Side note real quick, this episode predicted damn near everything that happened in 2020, along with the "mystery virus"(IYKYK). Just throwing it out there, ya feel me?
@@patrickjeffrey5249 IKR?!!! Come to think of it, that’s the exact problem that Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio had in Spider-Man Homecoming since he even said those words. The main difference is that he did it to gain recognition of his work while Huey did it to stay alive for as long as he can.
5:45 “Make your own damn chicken”, she’s right!!! It’s not hard. Just mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, msg, maybe even some chicken bullion powder, or anything you want, put it on chicken thighs and drumsticks, marinate it for a few hours at least (preferably overnight), roll it in flour (really press it in that flour), and then put it in a deep pot of oil at about 350 (medium-high). Fry until GBD. Golden, Brown, Delicious. Buy a bunch of seasoning, make a bunch of marinade powder, and you got fried chicken whenever you want baby.
There's a type of Tick in the US that injects a handful of proteins when they bite. Mammals, with the exception of the great apes, have endogenous versions of chemicals. The bite can trigger an immune response to the protein we don't have naturally. If the person is unlucky they can develop an allergy to it. But since it's also found in, pigs, cows, goats, etc. the allergy can extend to meat from those animals.
And the strange thing is this happened in real life a decade later after this show aired with the popeye's chicken sandwich riot because they ran out of chicken a few years back. Good reaction Allona Sharee.
Great episode. A very funny one. This episode really shows Huey intelligence and how he's prepared for everything to the point he made survival books. His plan would've worked perfectly it didn't involve other people. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Allona.
ah i get it! the chicken place was called bluto's! that was popeye the sailor man's mortal enemy...and popeyes like the chicken place. lol watching this episode again, it was scary. it almost predicted so many things that happened after it aired. the long lines for the popeyes chicken sandwich and fights over them, and the same thing happened with the rick and morty sauce at mcdonald's. but also with the 2020 stuff, how nobody knew how the "you know what" started from in china, but they theorized that it was from animals in wet markets that lived in poor conditions there including chickens. usually this show takes something that really happened and parodies it, but this time they pulled a simpsons and predicted some stuff. lol if huey was an adult he should have left. in a situation like this family, friends and their toxic traits like that could cost everybody their lives. imagine if it was zombies and all the noise they would make from arguing and using electronics. it's hard though because you have to choose between going down with the people you love or put your morals and feelings aside and survive without then while watching them fall and having to live with that on your shoulders forever.
15:10 Leonard’s heart is always! In the right place. I feel like he probably the only one, on the show thats like that.. but he just really not bright 😢
I believe my previous comment got deleted so I'll explain further to avoid any issues. Part of this episode is based on a Popeyes promotion from like 15 years ago. I believe they had a nationwide deal where they were selling an 8-piece for $5 for a day if I remember right. I was able to get mine, lol. The video this episode is based on is on TH-cam and it's called "Popeyes Runs Out of Chicken in Rochester, NY". I wasn't intending to promote a video, just wanted you to see where Boondocks got the idea from. 👍
Huey always be on top of a situation, and just like always Grandad and the rest of them be messing up.. lol

Huey really do be trying to save them from themselves but they don't be listening and then still look to him to come up with something 😂
Just goes to show, you can be the smartest in the room and be prepared, but no one will even listen.

14:33 was the cutest 🥷🏾ever uttered 😂😂😂
Allona went ooc for a sec had me rolling
The Boondocks predicted them fools who were fighting over that Popeyes Chicken Sandwich 😂
It was actually a reference to Popeyes running out of chicken the year before the episode. The sandwich situation was just history repeating itself.
The Boondocks is truly one of a kind.
@@jonmercano1138Damn.
It also predicted COVID-19.
What made the freemans house safer than everyone elses lol
This probably my favourite episode in the whole series I must have watched it like 100 times since it came out years ago

Ms von Heusen was dressed like Tina Turner in Mad Max 3! 😂
Wow! Girl when you're face Pops on my phone or TV's, I perked up and get all gitty. I wish Boondocks never would end 🚏🛑. Love you AllonaSharee 🥰
watching from South Africa, love watching original people react to great art that is about us 😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Us ??? You mean blk Americans we are different from yall
Didn't know black Americans were south African. The afrocentrists will have a field day.

2:24 "what ! I can't believe what you telling me". Dang bro acting like someone died😅
11:39 Obama had to deal the the Bird Flu
Apparently we are currently 3 months into another bird flu epidemic.
Allona had me dying when you just shouted out “nigga” 😂
A parody of 2020 ten years early.
Boondocks predicted the future so many times it’s crazy 😂
Great reaction boss. Everyone seems to enjoy your little blooper at 14th min lol
I love your reactions you should do south park🔥

Took this many episodes to drop a 14:33
Love this show
U look so much better with little to no makeup btw
13:44 Riley I can’t 😂😂😂
Popeyes then corona they didn’t predict anything just like The Simpsons. This was all planned out. But it backfired 🤣
It's a parody combining The Co-Vid epidemic and The Popeye Chicken 🍗 issue a few years ago.
Swine Flu AKA H1N1. This was wayyy before covid.
Episode was written and aired well before those events. I saw this when I was 15, when it was aired.

Hey, fried chicken can be serious business, yo. 😂
Decent plan, terrible people management. As annoying as ruckus is he could have been the most useful person in the house with all his job experience
Exactly, dude is like the main handyman for even Wuncler. He’s worth half the people in that house.
"If we go through this"?! Did you forget covid? The Popeyes chicken sandwich? And the BLM protests.
This is aTrue story..
Would happen it did during covid lol this was great episode that aged well
MC Hammer and fried chicken :D
Its like they predicted 2020😂😂😂
A Classic.
