Yes, Allona. It was also because of his father abusing him just because he never wanted to have a child in the first place. Therefore, it’s very interesting to see that both of his brothers ended actually just fine, even after a lifetime of domestic pain and torment but then again, they admitted that although they could never forgive Mister for what he did to them, unlike their mother, Darryl and Darell were more than aware of why he turn out that way. Plus, it sickens me how there are people like Bunny Ruckus that straight up lie to their kids until eventually, they believe they’re something that they clearly are not. What you said is very true; it’s in our nature to be just as cruel as we are kind because we’re imperfect and as a result, mankind is forever capable of the greatest horrors. As a Caribbean kid who immigrated here many years ago, I won’t let anyone, especially the Americans, defy who I am and make me feel ashamed of my heritage. Without it, I wouldn’t be alive and see all the great and horrible things in this world that made me into the person I am today. ❤🔥✊
@@t.l.thomas6259eh I wouldn't go that far. Ruckus brothers don't seem to be nearly as bad as him so I'd argue it took both parents to make a ruckus. Without mister beating his ass for wanting to be shit ruckus might just be an uncle tom instead of how he is.
The Hate That Hate Produced! First his grandmother passed on her own self-hate to her son and then he passed it on to Ruckus. Then, Ruckas' own mother passed on her own special brand of self-hate to him. The combination was catastrophic...but the result was hilarious! Mister hit him and flipped his ass in the air!
5:14-5:42 I believe that is a classic example of a comedy technique known as “Lasagna.” It’s where a joke gets repeated in layers (three times is the magic number) with the setup getting increasingly more ridiculous while the payoff remains the same. I don’t know why, but it works every time😂
The voice of Nellie Ruckus is a comedienne named Luenell. She made her 1st appearance, to my knowledge, in the movie Borat. Mister was voiced by the same guy who played Dayday's dad from Next Friday and Bunny Ruckus was voiced by Star Jones from The View.
Ruckus mom Brainwashed him lol my mom did that to me. I'm black but she thought it was best to tell me I was Japanese. Because I love anime and Bruce Lee naw I'm kidding great reaction.
i always thought he said "no relation" because his name was uncle ruckus, and he was saying he wasn't related to you and is not your uncle. i also thought that uncle ruckus was just his nickname...i didn't know it was his actual government name. lol but yeah it all makes sense now. not just because his mom lied to him, but also because the reason why he hates his own race is because how his family treated him. his brothers causing trouble and he's always get the blame for it, and the way his dad would treat him. he was mistreated by the same people that looks like him and has the same blood as him. i felt bad for him. but what tripped me out was like 5 minutes before riley said it, i thought "dang...my family's not that bad" too. lol
It's really crazy how they walked that line in this episode. Like the humor is so fucked up but it still lightens the mood somehow because of how sad the underlying story is.
It's crazy that the show can talk crazy about black people and black culture all day long, and we laugh, but the minute they same some tame shit about Mexicans, we gotta have disclaimers. Ah, black people. Gotta love us.
After seeing this episode it makes sense why Ruckus is the way he's. I feel bad for the child Ruckus for being abused by his father and lied to by his mother. Both parents are the worst. But looking at his grandmother, I'm not surprised. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care, and stay amazing Allona.
The intro to this episode is a spin of brad pitt's movie benjamin button where his character is abandoned at the house of a black family when he was a baby because the baby has a condition.
I love her content as a whole but she has got to be the most gorgeously stunning person I have laid eyes on not just her beautiful face but her whole personality just makes her shine so much more just amplifies her attractiveness.
I knew a person who honest to god believed they were transracial back when that phrase meant something else. Well, at least they were transracial around us other creative weirdos. I never knew but she had a lot going on on the family side of things. Eventually she moved to a more constitutionally open country and transitioned in another way, getting surgery and hormones. This episode is all jokes but I can see it happening because I kinda saw it happen, I just didn't know it.
It all now makes total sense. Uncle Ruckus was messed up cause of his own momma smh

Benjamin Button + The Color Purple = Uncle Ruckus (No Relations)
Been saying she was the real villain this whole time

5:19 “did I just catch you having fun” Uncle Ruckus’ backstory crazy af lol. Great reaction boss
"You ain't even gotta speak English to be a Mexican." That line KILLS me every single time 💀💀
Ruckus should have reminded Mister that he's a master of the nunchaku.
Ruckus dad voiced by uncle Elroy from Friday. They even gave him a bad back like him😂
Yes sir Don DC Curry
Lunnell was too hilarious as Nellie

How they turn "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" into a story about generational self hate, I will never know😂
🤣🤣🤣

Mexicans love you too ❤🇲🇽

😂😂
Lol I was about to ask how does that work?? What would you call that even: re-re-vitiligo?

One of my favorite episodes. A play on The Color Purple expertly executed. Hope you enjoy your day Ms Allonna
This episode is the near perfect illustration of cross-generational trauma that exists in many Black families.
That's a living chair!
Greetings from Mexico!!
Allona, you are so beautiful. Keep doing what you do. Your smile brightens my day. Muah!
11:16 Viva 🇲🇽. There's nothing wrong with being a Mexican.
Facts‼️
the funniest fucking episode nellie is insane 😭
Funny but deep episode
How unique to post this video up on July 4th!😂
This is probably the one episode I rooted for Ruckus
The tropes go extra stoopid in this one 😂😂😂
This is the most um unique episode of the color purple i ever seen
Its hilarious and sad that Ruckus says "no relation" to deny being related to his father instead of the more obvious reason
5:18 did I just catch you having fun? 😂

Ive noticed, for some odd reason black people always defend Hispanics/Latinos. Even if they are racist first. Odd but its something ive noticed.

Wow, thank you!😊
15:42 “What they do?”
Remember what time period this was in…… Racism was prevalent back then…
Just imagine if Stinkmeaner, Mister and Nelly Ruckus came back from the dead as ghosts to form a new Hateocracy group.

generational black curses
Just realized that Ruckus’ story is the story of Tarzan!😂😂😂
Color Purple/ Benjamin Button actually
Why uncle ruckus brothers look like Mr T and the dad from family matters 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
The greatest(?) origin story ever told....
It all makes sense for sure
3:11 This is my grandmother, I love her though.
I love the Boondocks
Great Episode.
Idk why but I think you’re so attractive
Da 🐐
