Astronomical unemployment rates, peaking at 58.5% youth unemployment. A royal princess accused of tax fraud and over 600 politicians and public officials implicated in corruption cases. Meanwhile, the massive Catalan pro-independence movement questions the very essence of the state. Combining carefully selected archive, interviews with key players and analysis by well-connected observers and insiders, this film gives fresh insight into the state of mind of a country in transition towards a more profound democracy.

Very good documentary but when they spoken in Spanish it could have been better if translated in English through voice that way I could get on with the things I'm doing and listen to it at the same time.

Yo sé que la luz, el agua y el alquiler son muy caros en España ahora. Los trabajos son difíciles de encontrar. Muchas personas están desempleadas. Muchas tiendas en la calle cerraron y quebraron. Es difícil ahora....

España es un bellisimo y gran país lleno de oportunidades. Pesimistas y personas sin ideas hay en todos los sitios. He viajado por todo el mundo y, me quedo en España. La crisis financiera del 2008 fue provocada por la burbuja inmobiliaria (parecida al caso japonés), asi como por las maravillosos subprimme de bancos estadounidenses que afectaron a todo el mundo.
