Yeah I literally can't wait until Christmas so I can get mine and start playing Sonic colors and dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and all the other games
bro u are my absolute hero! i was super sad about mario galaxy's pointer not working anymore and saw that esb skip ascess was activated... i turned it off and it works perfectely fine again... thank u sooo much! ♡
I wish the d-pad was up higher on this thing so it was more centered on the device. Otherwise perfect emulation product for a reasonable price. What's crazy is this spec will probably be 200 bucks or less in 2 years.
Yeah the good track record of the first Odin has me happy I ordered one. Although I got a base model but most of the games I want to emulate are on GameCube and PS2 so I shouldn't have much issues.
Looking really good. How does the pointer go? I see you're using the right stick. I havent tried Wii emulation, is it hard to set up for pointer heavy games?
The pointer in pointer heavy game can be annoying. It's not hard to setup though, and you can use the gyroscope to tilt the system to emulate pointer functionality or use the stick (or both). For games that only need it occasionally it isn't a problem, and for games that feature it almost exclusively you might be fine also, but for things that want you to use joysticks and be pointing to aim all the time, well...it isn't for me. :) Easy to setup though! haha
any issues with discoloration on the white plastic? I’ve seen a few people talking about the finish easily scuffing or even staining. I take extreme care of my devices and always wipe stuff down with alcohol wipes.. but curious if you’ve noticed any of this??
So far I think for Switch the Pro is enough. Most games just need some tweaks but don't seem to use more than 8GB of memory. For high end Android games Max could be useful, and also for Windows emulation. People are even playing the PC version of Skyrim on this thing!
Thank you for the video! I am wondering if there is a way to disable the little sidebar on the right and maybe map it to one of the buttons on the back? It‘s not really annoying but if there is a way to make it look cleaner I‘d appreciate that.
There is. You just swipe down (twice) from the top and turn off "floating icon." I only leave it on during testing to be sure I have easy access to the side bar so I can check/show things like temperature and CPU/RAM usage.
Why are you using the build from the Playstore not the latest Beta build which is structurally better all around? I am running Wii on my RedMagic 8S Pro currently until my Odin 2 devices arrive, and all the games you showcased up to Monster Hunter OpenGL run fantastic at 3x with my personal settings using Beta.
Because this is an out of the box showcase to give people an idea what is easy, for those who do NOT want to deal with those things. This isn’t a settings guide. It’s not meant to be. I *not not have time* to tweak every single system at this point and many of the viewers struggle with setting up a miyoo mini. I do not want mislead people who buy the device and then ask “why isn’t my Wii game performing like yours?” Seems you’re good to go. You should do a best settings guide.
@@MjolnirStone hey yeah I was just asking you know your viewers more than I do it's unfortunate that they haven't updated the Playstore version for ease of access. It's very vague to call anything to do with Android Handheld gaming out of box experience too. No matter the case unless the developers of Odin came out with a way to scrape the latest versions of these emulators and automatically update them, out of box is not a thing. I've had so many say "don't these come preloaded with games?" & I'm baffled that anyone would think that all considering. Anyways great content and showcase as it was just an honest question to understand why you're not using the newest application.
Where you show New Super Mario Wii using the motion controls of the Odin, would the motion controls also work for gameboy games that had motion sensors such as Warioware twisted or Kirby tilt n roll?
i got one question. i heard that your rumble works perfectly fine during mario galaxy 2. mine is not working at all. i tested it in the odin settings and it is working flawlessly. did i do something wrong? do i have to change something in the settings of dolphin?
Am I the only one who thinks it sucks that it can't emulate PS3/Xbox 360 well? I think that would put it over the top for me. I think I'll wait for the next iteration. It's a little annoying that it can't emulate Wii games at 4X, too. I get at this this moment in time this is the best, or nearly the best, but it still feels a bit underpowered to me for the price regardless of technological limitations. I can't wait for the day that I can play everything up to PS4/Switch/Series X smoothly and fit everything on one micro SD card (or whatever it is at that point in time). That would be 40+ years of games available on the go as well as on your TV.
Dude, what are you on about. You literally can't emulate 360 and ps3 games on android. It's not a thing yet. And it is not underpowered at all. Most android devices that have the snapdragon 8 are over $1000, while this is at $300. This device can run Nintendo switch games at 60 fps and your calling it underpowered
@@mznkee to me it is underpowered for what I want. I never said you could or couldn't emulate PS3 games on Android. You didn't read my comment very closely. Either that or you're incapable of understanding. I can't help you if you don't help yourself.

Once the dust settles and any issues resolved with early batches, I would be tempted go for one of these.
Issues ?
Some people are just very cautious I think. So far I haven't heard of any issues from others who received early units.

These look so nice
Wii and GameCube are both impressing me on this!
Will it be possible for you to share the controller profiles over Discord please ? Thanks again for your lovely work.
Yeah, it would be excellent if the Odin 2 community started putting together a collection of controller profiles for Wii games.
I have a question, instead of shaking the handheld, can you instead map it to where you can press a button, like in galaxy 2 for example
Yes
You can go into the dolphin emulator and in settings make the shake action to a button
What power profile are you using.. and what GPU driver? The performance you're getting is awful. My odin lite performs similar.
All just the default power profile and system drivers. Out of box testing.
@MjolnirStone Should change it to high performance man!
Can you test the Black Ops on WII?
14:48 Isn't that voice Zoro's?! 😲😲😲
Zoro? Or Zordon?
It is :) Date Masamune is voiced by Kazuya Nakai. Except Masamune uses 6 swords :p

It should be possible but would need to be developed by the specific emulator developer.
If you can answer this one question I’m buying it. Does it have pokepark?
The Wii game? It doesn't "have" it because it doesn't include any games when you purchase it, but you could add it yourself.

Can play the mod games like PMEX REMIX?
Is it the base version or pro?
