- The Great League Remix Cup is BACK and today I'm running none other than the Greatest Pokemon of All Time, Alolan Marowak! This Great League Remix Cup Team did incredibly well for me, even thought it's triple weak to Carbink, this team dominated every other team in the Meta in GO battle League!

That would be so nice. Or at least top 40. People are so boring in the battle league. You can win with spice to. Just takes practice but people like bulky and slow or toxic no skill teams
Just because someone decides not to swap doesn’t mean they’re weak in the back. It’s possible they have two counters and will circle back after seeing your 3rd pokemon or see it as a neutral matchup.
I do this all the time against water types and have two safe swaps running grass moves.

Been seeing a lot of quag, empoleon, feraligatr, mantine and carbinks on my end sadly
I used a variation of this with Alolan Ninetales instead of Frosslass and it helped me climb to Veteran in 2 days! Thanks for that. Promptly stopped winning once reaching 2500 though 😛
I've been loving Remix so far! Feels like how things felt a few seasons ago. If only Annihilape was banned, then I could have my beloved Medicham back
I used stunfisk, golbat shadow and mantine today and got from 1700 -> 2468. Few good sets tomorrow for vet again ^^ started 3 seasons ago, and have gotten there except this season.
Might try this team tomorrow. Too much RPS with the current Great League meta mons running amok. Also, the stutter lag is horrendous. I hope Niantic seriously looks into this because GBL is at best, barely functionable at this point.

I tried this team. Like it, but saw 4/11 carbinks... Just have to top left unfortunately. Curious why you run fire blast instead of bone club? Also, doesn't no-shielding a move mean they likely have counters in the back? Otherwise I feel they would double shield.

I wish i had a shadow a.wak. i didnt start playing til 3 seasons ago so it wasnt available. I use the non shadow and its fun. So many shadows i wish they would bring back
I just finished all my sets today and I saw a lot of Carbinks, actually. And I'm battling in Ace Rank.
I get that it's not super common. But I think it's common enough to have to worry about it.

I’ve got a 1500cp Carbink, but I can’t battled due to the ‘Error claiming rank rewards’, and the Niantic help chat is no help 😢 Does anyone know a fix or an alternative method to contact Niantic?

Zweilous would be your best bet for a replacement with the same type and similar moveset. Otherwise, you need a lil bulk and that dragon/dark coverage.

This team has so many weaknesses that are basically everywhere in this remix meta. Carbink, poliwrath and also mantine with energy can ruin this team. First time I will say that I do not recommend this team to anyone.
Carbink is the only real threat, the others are completely manageable. In fact I beat every mantine team
Building a team super weak to carbink hoping your don’t see it when it’s top meta is probably the worst advice you ever put out, and I’m guessing you will be running carbink tomorrow to try and smash people running this lol
