This is significantly less restrictive than her diet in the past. She has definitely changed a lot for the better. Btw I don’t know if she has any physical issues with fertility but I know that her husband had a vasectomy reversed recently and that’s the main obstacle.
I’m pretty sure she has pcos or endometriosis. She has said quite a few times in the past that her periods are incredibly painful and she was taking Tylenol every month for it. I don’t know if that’s still the case though.
They both sat down months ago and spoke openly about their health issues. Hannah's being a thyroid issue and Derek has extremely low testosterone. Both are due to the vegan diet and can be reversed with adding back in beef, fish and eggs. COMPLETE PROTEINS!
@@heatherm7970 How do you know their health issues are caused by their vegan diet? Did they say this? You're not their doctor. I'm not a vegan and don't promote veganism, but your statement is a bit irresponsible.
Meta Ebene she is not infertile, her husband had a reverse vasectomy and his swimmers aren’t swimming. She was also checked out by a doctor to make sure everything checked out with her too.
Meta Ebene wow aren’t you bold? how dare you call someone infertile without absolutely no proof or way to sustain your comments. She eats fat yes with moderation but eats plenty of fats and is a healthy vegan. Stop spreading lies and gossip. If you really feel the need to comment negatively on her very personal life, at least go watch her videos.
Jessica N sure, but we are not talking about many other women, we are talking about the particular person this video was created for. Commenting on someone’s fertility is just plain intrusive and rude.
I think never comment on a family's fertility issues unless you've been contracted to do so. It's such a deeply personal and emotional issue (which you should know) and, frankly, not for commentary. P.S. Lean women get pregnant ALL THE TIME. And plenty of women also STAY lean during pregnancy, which is great. Huge difference between being lean and healthy and being super underweight or having incredibly low body fat. And this woman definitely has some body fat. She looks incredibly healthy. You simply cannot tell from looking at someone, or even at what they eat, what their fertility is.
I thought that Abbey was tactful about this and just providing basic information to all about dietary requirements when trying to conceive/being pregnant. From my perspective, the comments were not directed at Hannah, but just general tips for staying healthy and preventing issues with the baby.
@@juliacatherine8649 why? That's not actually true. There is absolutely no reason why a woman needs to have any specific amount of fat (beyond what she needs to have normal hormonal cycles) as long as she eats well during her pregnancy (and in many cases, when the mom is so sick, she can't even eat or keep food down) she can expect to have a very healthy, happy baby. The female body is awesome that way! Believe it or not, there's almost no correlation between the mom's weight and the baby's (except in cases where overweight causes blood sugar issues). Developing babies don't live off of maternal fat. The healthier the mom is going into, and throughout, her pregnancy, the healthier her baby will likely be. Women of all sorts of weights and BMIs can be super healthy and carry super healthy babies. 👍
I don't want to take away from your experience, because I do agree that you should not comment on fertility issues without good reason. Hannah is talking about her prenatal Vitamin Regime and Abbey is giving hints on how to "boost" your fertility. I think she's being respectful. Also you can't tell if someone is healthy from looks alone.
When you become a You Tube personality and bring YOUR personal issues to the public, that allows people to be able to comment. I didn't think this was a negative critique. People take SO much personal these days. Hannah does well and she was respectful about that; merely reviewing it as a researcher.
elusivebutsatisfying T. She ate shredded coconut, peanut butter, sesame seeds, tofu, tahini in the dressing and beans. There are definitely fats and proteins in her meals. It’s also not healthy to go overboard with the proteins. She could have some protein for dinner but all in all the meals look healthy and balanced. Nobody’s eating 100% perfect all the freakin time.
I've pretty much been on an Abbey binge-fest for the past month. Thank you for cheering people on for the positive things that they ARE doing, even when you disagree with their approach. So much of the culture in the health, wellness and food-related online world is about tearing people down, in place of building people up. I appreciate that you meet people where they're at and champion for building themselves up. I'm loving all things Abbey: TH-cam, Podcasts (your spot on Moms who say F@%k was hilarious, relatable and informative) websites, cookbooks (your cookbook is beautifully delicious)... I'm borderline obsessed with Abbey... no, I'm healthy engaging with Abbey's content on all platforms because it is valuable. It is incredibly refreshing to have research/evidence-based dietary recommendations online. Also, I fully appreciate the swears (bleeped or not). Thank you for being a responsible content creator (and for representing Toronto, like a boss). From a fellow Torontonian and Abbey (I'm an Abbie).
I don’t mean to be disrespectful but would he get a vasectomy if they knew they wanted to have kids in the future? There are plenty of other hormonal and non-hormonal birth control methods and vasectomies can be completely irreversible after a certain period of time.
Emily Slaton he was brainwashed by freelee former boyfriend Durian rider to get the vasectomy under the idea that it was antivegan to ever have kids. Then he got away from the durian rider cult and changed his mind.

@@elusivebutsatisfyingt.9166 Not a ton..but i get your point. Would love to see you do a video on Fairly Local Vegan because she has celiac disease so I'd be very interested to see your take on her diet and how she treats her illness!
i also think she's one of the most respectful and thoughtful when it comes to how/when she includes her family. Plus she's always so honest with her viewers
Erika Costell just uploaded a “What I Eat in a Day”. Please review it! It seemed very restrictive which is concerning to me because of her young audience. Love your content!!
Two of my favorites are Caitlin Shoemaker (From My Bowl) and Sadia Badiei (Pick Up Limes). Sadia is also a dietician. They are both so fun to watch, as you are.
So glad to hear you'll be making a video on infertility! You should also do a review of Lilykoi Hawaii. I'd be interested to see your opinions on her diet.
Holly Wisniewski on her podcast she said all of her what I eat in a day to lose weight videos were fake and she would just throw away the food after making the video. She said she really lost weight by starving herself or eating 1000 calories along with workout 3 times a day.
@@Viiiiiii6798 I listened to that too and she recently did a video following her old what I eat in a day for weightloss and talked about how she wasn't doing it the right way and it was very unhealthy - she seems like she's doing a lot better now and has learned from her past mistakes!
So I have been following her for years and not only did she manage to lose 70 freaking pounds she has maintained her weight loss and continues to explore ways to optimize her health. So I say good for her, even if she isn't following traditional dietary advice.
Abbey took literally one sentence out of context and made the whole video about it, without doing any research. You can't just assume something like fertility issues, when you don't know for sure.
I love what you said about not being too concerned if one meal doesn't work out in your day and making up for it in other meals. This really resonates with me because I feel like I'm always trying to create that perfect balanced meal at every meal and sometimes, it doesn't work out based on scheduling and other factors. Thanks!
Hahah for real! The only one with actual issues is Abby Sharp. Trying to constantly boost her social media presence by shitting on others. Her actions are SO UGLY! All her videos are the same, trying to make others look bad.. but isn't a dietician's purpose to HELP THOSE WHO ASK FOR IT?? She must not be getting any actual in real life clients so instead she hops on youtube to play doctor and talk about youtubers diets.. when again NOBODY ASKED.
That blew my mind. As someone who actually does know a lot about fertility (have given birth to 6 babies), I would not take advice from anyone on any topic when they don't even know not to make assumptions and judgment without full information, nor even know how inappropriate it is to discuss someone's fertility and medical issues, not being a doctor who has personally evaluated them. To do so for personal income? Wow. I also have always kept myself lean, which does not mean underweight, and I managed to conceive quite easily because I was lean and in shape, even conceiving two babies in one night, and 3 babies within a year. I have always intermittent fasted, just as my normal eating schedule, long before it had a name. In this case, it wasn't even considered the male side of fertility, which is the situation in this case.
She wasn't commenting on what she personally called herself, but she commented regarding how she acts and things she says, which was extremely on point.
Yup, why do women always assume that they r the cause of infertility? Anything that effects us nutritionally also effect men and their sperm counts and hormone levels.
I am a Hannah groupie! Re her fertility journey, her husband Derek had a vasectomy reversal, they could only reconnect one side, and found out he has no/low sperm motility. Also, over the years, her videos have been all over the place on recommendations for weight loss. She's had some good ones on her struggles with body image and other mental aspects connected with diet and how you view yourself. I've always found these very informative, as it helps others to hear it from someone else since most women struggle with these same issues.
I trust Abbey Sharp with my LIFE. Your videos contain so much information and solid advice that I never heard growing up. I'm starting a health journey after years of cycling between binging and sever restricting, and your videos are so calming and helpful. Thank you for your service, Abbey!
I'm a big fan of your videos and have learned a lot from watching them, but once again, I implore you to please differentiate between type-1 and type-2 diabetes in your videos. As a type-1 diabetic, my disease which is autoimmune and is not weight-related in the way that type-2 often is. The fact that people so often refer to type-2 just as "diabetes" has lead to a lot of misinformation from people that don't understand that there are two different types. I can't speak for everything, but I know that I find it frustrating to have to constantly correct people who conflate the two. I don't know if you'll see this, but I would be grateful if you could make the distinction in the future.
After being overweight for my whole life, I lost 25kgs through fasting/low carb. Fast forward to now and I’m suffering from amenorrhea (dr also mentioned PCOS) but I’ve never had a problem with not having a period before. Your info about fasting for fertility has solidified my decision to stop fasting for the time being to get my fertility back on track!! Thanks!
Ugh Blogilates made the WORST video body shaming and comparing women who had no idea what they were in for and on camera asked a woman what it feels like to be technically categorized as obese 😣
I appreciate that your channel is not anti-Vegan and you actually promote fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. You're never obnoxious unlike some anti-Vegan channels that lie and misinterpret science. I also appreciate the fact that you don't push vegans into consuming animal products. Thank you for acknowledging the fact that a well-planned vegan diet is extremely healthy and offers prevention towards some of the most common diseases.
Honestly, I can vouch for celery juice on an empty stomach in the morning. It's not a cleanse, unless that is all you are drinking. It gave me lots of energy and I felt really good. I do it whenever I have the time to juice in the morning and it's great.
ABBEY. YOU. ARE. AWESOME. I learn so much when I leave this channel! I am currently on a weight loss journey. I gained 40 pounds in the past 4 years after high school. I was an athlete and ate WHATEVER I wanted. I kept up those eating happens for four years, but now I am doing my best to eat more intuitively. I really appreciate your realistic and accessible approach to nutrition. Again, you are awesome!
Why are women always tearing each other down. Has this woman no shame? Going through fertility issues is one of the hardest things you can go through so you have no right to comment on it. If you truly had any concern you should have reached out to her personally and she could have told you what was going on with her. This is horrible.
Meta Ebene i won’t even respond to the first part of your comment because that’s simply your own unfounded judgement and has no backing. However, i will address the last part: fertility issues may be less of an issue for YOU but you have no right to tell someone what the most difficult life challenge is. It’s subjected Meta. We all go through our own struggles.
Hannah - "Im trying to get pregnant" Abbey, an actual dietitian - "I recommend talking to a doctor" This whole comment section "WOW THIS DISRESPECTFUL WOMAN"
I felt it was a little too much emphasis on her fertility issues, which are a personal and delicate topic for a woman that she chose to expose and share with her subscribers... it would be a little more reasonable in my eyes to mention it as a general note and not referring to her over and over again....
I just learned today that MyLifeAsEva has a vegan what I eat in a day, and the reason I know is because ANOTHER (vegetarian) YTer used a recipe from it as part of a video! It would be cool to see you take a look at Eva's video and her take on eating/cooking vegan foods.
I’ve followed Hannah for a while and their main issue for fertility is her husband’s vasectomy reversal not working properly. Although I’m sure she will take your advice into consideration to have the best chance possible in getting pregnant. Great video 😊
I love fasting. It’s what works for me. I also don’t want kids, so lowered fertility would be a plus in my mind. I’ve followed Hannah for a loooong time so I’m rooting for her and I think it’s awesome she’s identified that fasting wasn’t for her.
I really appreciate that you are kind and don't put Hannah down during your review. I really hate watching reviewers who put vegans down, assume they only eat berries or salads, and a lot of the time tend to focus on an unflattering angle and poke fun of that person saying they look too skinny or dark circles under the eyes, etc. This definitely is a review I would recommend.
Hannah is not overly skinny. She actually looks extremely healthy. She’s been on a health journey for years, and tweaks her diet as she goes along. She’s taught me so much. Look at her now in April, 2021, she looks even healthier. She’s aging backwards. Her enthusiasm about food is refreshing too.
Just would like to comment on the women fasting during Ramadan and the pregnancy, usually while fasting both men and women are not supposed to be sexually active, as doing the act would actually cancel out the fast. although after breaking our fast when sunset comes around, most people do eat enough after having fasting from whenever the sun rises until the sunsets.
I think she means that effects ovulation for that month which will continue to domino effect later on. But I didn't know that was against a fast! Thanks for that!
you can be sexually active, but after you break the fast. but during that month especially in summer, fasting hour can be so long that people who fast can be so tired top it up with holy activities such as prayers, they just want to sleep and rest, hence, minimal to zero sexually active after breaking their fast.
Ehhh just because I’m sexually active and of child bearing age doesn’t mean I would need a prenatal. I’m not having kids, mistake or otherwise, so I’ll stick to my regular multi.
If u would abort then that comment is not relevant to you. I feel she is directing that towards people who aren't trying but wouldn't be opposed to conceiving.
I think of prenatals like multivitamins but with specific things in it or a higher dose in it than in usual ones. I got one because of the iron and iodine, which I needed, not the folic acid or anything else, and no other vitamin in the store had this. I did also order a regular multivitamin from my kind organics, so I switch back and forth. I'm 14 (closer to 15) and not intending to get pregnant. Are you fertile? Extra cautious? What if you end up pregnant and realize it five months in?
@@sourgreendolly7685 in fairness, her comment is meant to be broadly stated. It's a standard recommendation because so many things can happen in sexually active women and as already mentioned you don't always realise right away that you're pregnant. Some women genuinely don't know until they're in labour. The idea behind taking a prenatal vitamin regardless of whether or not you're trying or want to conceive, is that there's no down side to it over a regular multi (except maybe price) and it is a shown to greatly reduce the risk of birth defects. So you don't have to take a prenatal, many women dont, but there's nothing wrong with her recommendation.
TheEmmakathryn This is why I said something. High levels of nutrients you aren’t using over time can be harmful. Taking a prenatal for as long as your fertile and sexually active is potentially a health risk.
Janelly Almodovar hi check out FlayCity with Booby Parish and the video is called Natural flavorings. Tells you everything you need to know it’s really good.
Melissa Miller or better yet she could review vegetable police who is currently following his diet and had a very hilarious history of changing is diet around from various extremes
@@FernJuice What's entertaining about vegetable police is that he keeps bouncing from one extreme to the next, messes up his body in different ways, but all the while maintains an awesome attitude.
During a 40 day fast (Christian) which I'm still on, I came across medical medium on instagram and all about the celery juice etc. I saw that he claims to get information from vague "spirit". Combined with bible study I happened to be doing, I felt big warning signs to stay away from medical medium and anything like that.
Thanks for making this video! I had to unsubscribe from her almost a year ago because her “weight loss” tips and the way she talked about food was super triggering to my ED. It seems she has made changes to her diet once more, but she has more variety now. I appreciate you always making these videos! They are packed with so much info and it’s great to hear your take. 🤗
Glad her diet is so balanced! Yep, many people don't know that you should start prenatals way before actually getting pregnant. I would also love a video on how to make someone who usually doesn't like raw veggies and fruits (carrots, celery, peaches, green beans, peppers, tomatoes, apples) eat them. It's mostly a texture thing, from what I understand.
Love your videos! I am also an RD(clinical)! I have been following Hannah’s videos for about ~2-3 years and I love the variety in her diet. I actually used some of her recipes/ideas during my internship to create more vegan options at my hospital for my food service rotation. Although the calories are lower in this video, her usual meals planned are pretty filling, creative, and low-prep...which was really helpful for a busy intern life myself. Even though im not plant based or vegan I still use a lot of her recipes to create a higher ratio of plant based to animal- based proteins in my overall diet. Itdoesnttastelikechicken is another good channel to take from!
I am 25 weeks pregnant and switched to vegetarian recently for the most part. No meats in the last week. But if I crave a steak, I'm going for it. It took me less than 6 months to conceive on eating what I wanted. Grass fed beef, organic eggs, ect. I am 38 so that's pretty good for my age.
This is great Abbey. I love the fact that you're not trashing someone just because they're vegan (It happens a lot.) Your criticisms are specific and supportive. I'm getting a lot out of your videos.
I had to pause and comment about how adorable Abbey is when she sees something positive that males her happy. When Hannah pulls out her editing snack, Abbey’s face breaks out into an infectious grin. I’m so glad I found this channel. Keep up the excellent work.
You are my favourite health and nutrition channel in social media. I learn a lot, thanks for being on TH-cam❤️♥️ Besides, you are helping me improving my English!
You should do a video on the Medical Medium! He's the guy who promotes celery juicing. Apparently he gets his nutritional information from a "Spirit" that communicates with him.
There's a lot of Yoga Teachers on TH-cam who share their What I Eat In A Day videos and I think that would be a addition to your reacts. One that I've come across often is Silke Dewulf (she actually updates it a lot but I think her current ones are - to stay healthy and slim & to stay strong and fit). Love your reacts and think you do a great job at being positive but still factual.
Yes, I would love to see a reaction to her. I watch her videos more for the low-waste aspects, but I always have trouble with her mentioning intermittent fasting and intuitive eating in the same breath.
Did you reach out to Hannah for comment before doing this review? I just wanna make sure there are good ethics behind a channel before I commit to watching it aha.
No she didn’t, and Hannah made a video commenting back to this, before she met her husband he had a vasectomy and then had it reversed when they were together/married. It is him that has the fertility problems, she has gone to a fertility dr that confirmed she is perfectly healthy in that department.
I’m so glad you gave her high praise. I follow her .. have tried so many of her recipes !! Try her Wild Rice and Mushroom Soup. Omg I tweaked it just a bit because I love t cook. Good Job Abbie !
only thing i have to say is that you should research her more.. i get it can be time consuming, but she's gone through a lot of shit with her diet from hclf to intuitive eating.
You know, in every single of your videos i get a big smile on my face and get the urge to say ''Hey Abby, happy to see you, how's your day?'' because of how much positive energy and optimism you radiate. You have to the most delightful person i know on youtube :)
Hannah has said countless times she doesnt feel really confortable anymore making these videos, like she has so much to share besides just weight loss recipies... and yet this is what most people seem to be interested at... Sad, but true... She also has 2 or 3 more channels where she actually talks about much more interesting stuff btw ps. she does not have fertility issues, her husband does -- really irresponsible to talk about something so intimate and without having all information ...
I agree Marina. This channel is toxic I don't watch it and don't recommend it. This was the first video I saw on this channel and it is very unethical, practically bullying. I love Hannah and she has been a great inspiration who built her channel on positivity instead of riding on the popularity of others like this channel.
Honestly, you're amazing. Keep doing what you're doing, as a woman who struggles with eating and body image, this is incredibly helpful and entertaining. :)
If I remember correctly, I think that her fertility problems have a lot to do with her husband. He had a vasectomy reversal and it didn't go perfectly. I definitely agree with the calories though!
You're so positive and pleasant to hear, you really make nutrition seem a lot more simple than people make it out to be. I'm learning a lot from your channel, thank you for the videos! :)
I’ve been on an Abby Sharp binge for a while now but I kind of disagree with her with regards to the intermittent fasting.. intermittent fasting has been shown to improve insulin and overall sex hormone levels, especially for women who are overweight or have insulin resistance induced PCOS. I have several patients whose levels are drastically improved in Ramadan albeit they’ve had no change in calorie intake .. one of my PCOS patients even conceived during Ramadan due to improved insulin levels, and this girl was really struggling! I know this might not apply to everyone, but intermittent fasting can be a way to help to increase fertility for some women.. I highly doubt that this is Hannah’s case. Anyways, I think it would be very interesting if Abby looked more into this subject and made a full video on intermittent fasting.
I realised that I am subconsciously doing the intermitting fasting diet. For example in the morning I have zero appetite and then I have a lunch or dinner. And that worked great for me for years. But now I'm concerned...
This happens to me as well! I just listen to when i'm hungry but even if I subconsciously intermittent fast I ALWAYS eat the same amount of food as I would NOT intermittent fasting :) But some days I'm hungry right after waking up, so of course I eat!
Idk what your concern about IF is but if it's the affect it may have on your fertility don't worry. Listen to your body and what works for you. I've been doing IF on and off for a year and I ovulate on time every single month. I know many women that have conceived while doing IF. As long as your getting adequate nutrition don't stress about it.
Carli Bybel has a few what I eat in a day videos. She has millions of subscribers and views. I don’t think she eats properly. Would love to know what you think!
Nice vid! Wouldn’t it be best to recommend algae supplements over fish oils, since they’re healthier, and more sustainable? If we continue to exploit the oceans, we won’t be worrying about optimal health, we’ll be worrying about oxygen
All these healthy TH-camrs make me feel like crap about myself because I eat probably 70% processed/packaged foods, due to life circumstances and digestive issues. I wish I wasn't such a junk foodie 😑 ** I eat a high carb (simple carbs) and processed diet because it was recommended by my doctor, believe it or not... I can't eat much fiber and whole foods really bother me. I don't need medical advice, my doctor is one of the best at Cleveland Clinic for gastrointestinal dysmotility. If I try to eat "healthier," I can't eat enough because it makes me too ill, and then I lose weight which takes a toll on my body. So while I know logically that I need to eat this way, I still feel terrible about it because the message from society is that my way of eating is "bad."
You sound frustrated! Follow some you tubers who’s diet you want to emulate. Try one of their meals a week and work your way up from there. I’ve been spending the second twenty years of my life making up for the poor diet habits of the first twenty years of my life... best to you 💜
Pretty sure on this channel she specifically refrains from calling any foods “bad” - like that’s the only reason I follow, that she doesn’t assign moral words to diet choices. But if you have a diagnosed medical condition...especially one so serious you can’t eat whole foods...you might want to seek the advice of more than one doctor. I’m sure your guy is good if he’s at that clinic but like, yikes, you must know anything you see on TH-cam isn’t catered toward your unique needs, right? Talk to your doctors! You can’t expect any random Dietician online to cater to your specific condition! Jesus...
Gina Marie don’t feel bad. Do what you need to for your body. I ate high carb/low fat vegan for many years and got too much fiber and now have digestive problems that I’m healing myself from. Listen to your doctor ❤️
Everyone has a different microbiome, so everyone reacts to different food differently ... I have also had issues with many different things. You have to find out what is best for you.
Yeah, if you did any research on her you would know her husband had a vasectomy when he was younger. They both made the decision together to try to have children, so he had a procedure to reverse his vasectomy. Just because she said she was trying to get pregnant it was not an indication that she was having difficulties. She has now recently revealed that they are having fertility issues, however this is due to the vasectomy.
How is this over stepping? I love high carb hannah and don't feel as though this is meant to harm her. If you speak to a dietitian this is typically things they would say. She's not bashing her.
Intermittent fasting did not effect my fertility negatively. I struggled for a DECADE to carry a baby to term. I was intermittent fasting for at least 6 months before I conceived my son.

I'm so happy you made this video she is one of my favorite people but I love the different perspective you give about her diet she's the main reason I went vegan was her lean and clean guide
Hi Abbey, I am OBSESSED with your videos, thank you so much for putting them out there. Could you review all the "nutrition plans" and "meal plans" that so many influencers sell? And could you talk about how all the trendy diets actually work or not for weight loss? I know you don't focus on weight loss, but some of us are actually obese/overweight and need to figure out how to lose weight, without developing an ED.
Just to clarify on the celery juice video Hannah did. She drank celery juice for 30 days but did not change her diet. She was not living on juice alone.
klc5173 Yes, and it was an experiment primarily for her husband who suffers feom cystic acne. They definitely did not say anything inflated in terms of results

Does anyone else think Hannah sometimes looks like a young Mariah Carey?
Yes, I can see the resemblance.
A healthy, fit and YOUNG Mariah, maybe...
Yes
Yes, and she is aware of it. She's mentioned in the past that people tell her that all the time lol.
She totally looks like Mariah Carey! Definitely
Get your facts straight , she isn’t the one with any problem getting pregnant .
She doesn’t exclusively research these people she doesn’t have time for that. And she didn’t say anything bad, so don’t get so defensive.

at least she actually eats fat and protein now

Abby their major fertility problem is because her husband had very little success reversing a vasectomy- no swimmers
CanisLupus1987 thanks for sharing
ANDDD this is why you should never listen to Freelee
I don’t mean to be disrespectful but would he get a vasectomy if they knew they wanted to have kids in the future? There are plenty of other hormonal and non-hormonal birth control methods and vasectomies can be completely irreversible after a certain period of time.
Emily Slaton he was brainwashed by freelee former boyfriend Durian rider to get the vasectomy under the idea that it was antivegan to ever have kids. Then he got away from the durian rider cult and changed his mind.

Holly Wisniewski on her podcast she said all of her what I eat in a day to lose weight videos were fake and she would just throw away the food after making the video. She said she really lost weight by starving herself or eating 1000 calories along with workout 3 times a day.

Thanks!
for sure. Thanks love
Didn’t know u added fertility doctor to ur resume lol. Smh shame on u.
THANK YOU! Some people will do anything for views.
Victoria L i feel like you forgot that this is social media and people are going to state their opinions about what you post lmaoo

I love Hannah she is the reason I went vegetarian ... not vegan tho but she inspired me to eat healthier.

Have you ever discussed Lilykoi Hawaii? She's also vegan but seems very knowledgeable about what she eats

Her fertility issues are because her husband got a vasectomy before he met her, then had it reversed (which isnt 100%) after they got married.
Her calorie intake is also very low for fertility.
Both points seems to be relevant.
I've always found these very informative, as it helps others to hear it from someone else since most women struggle with these same issues.
thanks for sharing
If you’ve watched Hannah’s other videos she gets quite a bit of sun and also I’ve seen her taking vitamin D before so maybe she’s still taking it :)
After being overweight for my whole life, I lost 25kgs through fasting/low carb. Fast forward to now and I’m suffering from amenorrhea (dr also mentioned PCOS) but I’ve never had a problem with not having a period before. Fasting is terrible for the body. If you are hungry...eat.
If she makes a video on it, I would love a reaction to blogilates’ 90 journey.

Could you please review Matt D'Avela's new video on counting calories for 30 days? I think that would be very interesting! :)
I bet if you juiced carrots you'd have the same energy though.
ABBEY. YOU. ARE.
Yay, thank you!
@nneka I don’t really understand.. how was she tearing her down? Maybe I missed something so I’m curious to know.
Hannah - "Im trying to get pregnant"
Abbey, an actual dietitian - "I recommend talking to a doctor"
This whole comment section "WOW THIS DISRESPECTFUL WOMAN"
especially when it is clear that the problem lies with the man who had himself vasectomized ... 😬
I felt it was a little too much emphasis on her fertility issues, which are a personal and delicate topic for a woman that she chose to expose and share with her subscribers... it would be a little more reasonable in my eyes to mention it as a general note and not referring to her over and over again....
She shared it with anyone who can google and watch TH-cam, and Abbey herself had to struggle with having children.
I just learned today that MyLifeAsEva has a vegan what I eat in a day, and the reason I know is because ANOTHER (vegetarian) YTer used a recipe from it as part of a video! It would be cool to see you take a look at Eva's video and her take on eating/cooking vegan foods.

Oh I hope she watches this, good info! I’m glad she did good. I wish her well and hope she and her partner eventually have healthy children. 🌱💚

I ❤️ High Carb Hannah! Her husband had a vasectomy before meeting her. He had it un-done...
Hi, Abbey! I’m subscribed to Hannah and it’s her husband who recently reverse his vasectomy. Hence i think she’s not pregnant yet.
It's not her fault, its because her husband had a vasectomy and reversed it so it is a slim chance that she will be able to pregnant from him anyway.
Jessica Murphy That’s my point, her statement was a bit broadly stated.
Can you do a video on "natural flavorings"? I see so much conflicting and confusing info out there and I don't know what to believe! whelp!

Liz D. Thanks!
It seems better to come up with your own ideas and offerings instead of criticizing someone who is so amazing and eats insanely healthfully.
This is her method of making money on TH-cam (criticizing others) We should have another dietician make a video judging Abbey huehue.
Agreed!
Exactly!!!!

She didn't take the stems off her strawberries and that bothers me.
Strawberry greens are edible if that makes you feel any better

It doesn't matter if you use a Vitamix or Blentec.
They actually have a lot of nutritional value in them so if you’re blending always keep your stems on!

Can you review Amberlynn Reid's diet?
Did you reach out to Hannah for comment before doing this review? I just wanna make sure there are good ethics behind a channel before I commit to watching it aha.
No she didn’t, and Hannah made a video commenting back to this, before she met her husband he had a vasectomy and then had it reversed when they were together/married. It is him that has the fertility problems, she has gone to a fertility dr that confirmed she is perfectly healthy in that department.
@@sophielauren2605thanks for letting me know! I will not be watching this channel, I don't agree with those morals at all!

Hannah has said countless times she doesnt feel really confortable anymore making these videos, like she has so much to share besides just weight loss recipies...
and yet this is what most people seem to be interested at... Sad, but true...
She also has 2 or 3 more channels where she actually talks about much more interesting stuff btw
ps. she does not have fertility issues, her husband does -- really irresponsible to talk about something so intimate and without having all information ...
I agree Marina. This channel is toxic I don't watch it and don't recommend it. This was the first video I saw on this channel and it is very unethical, practically bullying. I love Hannah and she has been a great inspiration who built her channel on positivity instead of riding on the popularity of others like this channel.
Totally agree. Irresponsible and unprofessional.
yayy thank you
I’ve been on an Abby Sharp binge for a while now but I kind of disagree with her with regards to the intermittent fasting..
intermittent fasting has been shown to improve insulin and overall sex hormone levels, especially for women who are overweight or have insulin resistance induced PCOS.
Really loving your videos lately and how balanced and intuitive your mindset is. Keep up the good work
thanks so much!
I realised that I am subconsciously doing the intermitting fasting diet. For example in the morning I have zero appetite and then I have a lunch or dinner. And that worked great for me for years. But now I'm concerned...
I think listening to your body is the best bet!
@@Elsab950 Thank you this makes me feel better!!
There’s a fair bit of evidence to suggest it is safe, so I wouldn’t be too concerned if you feel good on your current routine
I think making a video talking about the correlation between fertility and body fat sounds like an amazing idea! Go for it!
stay tuned!

She is so pretty and wholesome looking. I don't think she appears too skinny. I will look her up to get ideas
I think Hannah has come a far way from where she started. I know she doesn't reccomend a lot of her earlier more extreme weightloss approaches
i was LITERALLY hoping you would make this video yesterday and here we are. wow
amazing!
All these healthy TH-camrs make me feel like crap about myself because I eat probably 70% processed/packaged foods, due to life circumstances and digestive issues. I wish I wasn't such a junk foodie 😑
** I eat a high carb (simple carbs) and processed diet because it was recommended by my doctor, believe it or not...
You can’t expect any random
Dietician online to cater to your specific condition!
Overstepping bounds for views again. What else is new.
Lmao
How is this over stepping? I love high carb hannah and don't feel as though this is meant to harm her. If you speak to a dietitian this is typically things they would say. She's not bashing her.
What do you mean? Do you think the series in general is overstepping, or just with this particular TH-camr?
She did a better job this time
Intermittent fasting did not effect my fertility negatively. I struggled for a DECADE to carry a baby to term. I was intermittent fasting for at least 6 months before I conceived my son.
Just so you know her husband had a vasectomy reversed.
Nice review! She did say the dressing for salad was tahini based :) I vote for doing a review on healthy crazy cool, he’s awesome and I think you’d love him as much as everyone who watches him! He’s vegan too
on the list!
I'm so happy you made this video she is one of my favorite people but I love the different perspective you give about her diet she's the main reason I went vegan was her lean and clean guide
erika marie thanks!
Wow shame on you to call in question someone’s pregnancy so rude
Just to clarify on the celery juice video Hannah did. She drank celery juice for 30 days but did not change her diet. She was not living on juice alone.
klc5173 Yes, and it was an experiment primarily for her husband who suffers feom cystic acne. They definitely did not say anything inflated in terms of results
I would love to see you do a video on Healthy Crazy Cool, he's a British vegan who eats a ton of healthy fats and protein and also is big on intuitive eating
Could not agreed with getting bloodwork done! Found out I was severely vitamin d deficient and after two months, I already feel so much better!!!
