With any one negative find at least 3 positives, so you can allow yourself to watch those programs, especially if it means spending time with your hubby, but make sure you have a few things planned after it to bring back the positive, such as self care, putting on something funny, or simply playing some music that always makes you wanna dance and sing! Great tips! I live in America and right now the area I live in has very high Covid numbers. Our school has been closed but will open next week. I'm a teacher and work really helps me get through this depressing time. The unrest in our capital is definitely causing lots of down days. Thanks for sharing! Glad you are doing so much better!

I’m glad someone else has a checklist! Mine is now 3 sides of A4 and includes all my chores but I have a lot of wellness activities on there such as ‘Contact a friend’, ‘Sing and dance’ and ‘No news or Mumsnet’. Hope you soon start to feel better xx

I’ve been writing things down during the whole pandemic. It’s been really cathartic to do and write down my feelings. It was also really interesting to read back to March last year and see what’s gone on. Dumping all of my thoughts out on paper has been so good.
Great video I can totally relate to many of your feelings. Like you I shut down and withdraw if I'm feeling down. The list is such a good idea and it will be going onto my fridge. I love your openess and honesty it is a difficult subject to talk about and you normalise it and take away the isolation alot of people feel with depression. Thank you Love Barbara 🙂🐨🌺
Very timely video. I found this very useful, thanks so much :) Edited to add that I've also gone through my TH-cam feed and blocked all news channels. I am interested in current affairs and the world around me but it is impossible to find unbiased reporting without 'an agenda'. There is so much negativity at the moment, I don't need it beamed into my life. Tfs.
