Church Ave and Eastern parkway used to be Caribbean food Mecca for me as a young person… the best Haitian, Trinidadian, Jamaican and everything in between was good there.

Rasta pasta is supposed to be plant based. No meat sir! Those of us who are not rastafarian are given the option to add whatever protein we choose to add. That is what adds the spice and extra flavor. The seasoning from the protein selected. Go try JamRock Jerk. They have jerk carts all over the city and a brick and mortar establishment in Queens. Usually the best jerk in the city!👍🏾
