Aaah!! I love this so much! I haven't done my roots in a few months because I was lazy and also wanted to give my hair a little rest, but this look makes me feel so motivated to do my hair again
This is so pretty, but i had no luck with the ION colors.. the do not adhere to my hair for some reason..
I just did this with galaxy themed hair in mind with blues, purples, and silver 😍

I live that you did this tutorial on yourself! Doing it on someone else is one thing, but sometimes going to try to do something on yourswelf is a whole nother beast! (Like giving a tattoo vs getting a tattoo vs tattooing yourself) very well done, love how it came out!
I used the tanzanite gemstone color from this brand...it would not come out! Eventually tried to remove it months later and it turned green. Hope getting this out is easier for you!

I put pink streaks in my hair the other night, when I rinsed it was barely there, (I did dilute too much I think) next morning (using LESS dilute) re did it and added a lot more streaks, I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I'm going to go get mint next 💗 I've received soooo many compliments, I NEVER want to wash my hair again. I never thought it was possible to have "pastel" color. I love that it is cheap, doesn't damage your hair at all, and it's just stunning! Your hair is so very pretty! I won't do my whole head, I do enjoy blonde, but I am thinking of doing every color of streaks ❤️

do you do any hair treatments as you've colored and bleached your hair many times, I think it would be a good idea for a video topic
From experience, for anyone reading this now, get a keratin treatment after bleaching. My hair was an absolute mess from dying it with only bleach from the local hair supply store (should’ve went online but whatever) and my hair was a complete mess unless I was coating it with oils etc. But I went to an excellent hairstylist and had a couple inches trimmed and they also did a keratin treatment. I did this a couple years ago, and I went for an over pastel pink. Also I didn’t use a “diluter”, I simply put a very pink dye mixed with suave conditioner (I think it was splat, but the dye I mixed with the conditioner was color depositing only) and slept with it over night with a shower cap. It was definitely more pink than I wanted it to be at first but after some washes it was perfect cotton candy color
I always want to color my hair but I don't thunk I can yet heh

Sally Beauty doesn't want you to know this, but you can use white conditioner to dilute semi-perm color. I have a giant bottle of coconut cream conditioner from Amazon. It cost $6. It's way cheaper than diluter and does the same thing. Or you could just buy a white conditioner from Sally. The brand doesn't really matter.
I wanted to dye my hair pink and loved the way the colour took in your hair. I got the same Ion dye in the same pink colour (I bleached my hair before many times so I know I bleached my hair correctly) and that dye did NOT take in my hair at all. It washed out immediately and left an orangey tone. Had to bleach my hair again, NOT impressed! 😒😒😒

I tried it but the blue becomes green, the pink just go away and the lavender just seems gray or go away too and I did the upper half of my hair gray and now everything looks kinda green and yellow :c

Some people might think this is a plus, but whenever I use Ion colors they are a BITCH to get out. They have the prettiest colors, but of course my hair hates them :/

She has a really distracting you false smile. The corners only go up, not out. It has a smug or unnatural feel. Sometimes it’s super pretty though so it’s not like it’s ‘just her smile’

Gorgeous color! Little hint: Saw you have some yellow tones on your roots, you should put some of the lavender in the pink to tone the yellows out. You might need a stronger pink then this one is though. That's what I use to get my pastel pink color to stay nice and cool :)
Is it possible to still do this without bleaching your hair? I would love to do this but I'd rather not bleach my hair. My hair is a mix of light brown and blonde.

Is it better to use the color brilliance diluter instead of conditioner? maybe that's why these dyes didn't work for me.
the Ion colors take so well to your yellow roots, i dont know why but ion is just not working for me... so much that the yellow came back out through the dye :(
