This is the point I meant...the red and white jasper pine tree. I think this is the best point found on here in some time. It is just SICK. I would have cried if I found that.

Oh man, that red arrowhead is gorgeous. I'm new to the arrowhead-hunting thing, I migrated over because of your awesome ammonite video. I used to be an avid fossil hunter, but am disabled now and can't hunt them myself--so I live vicariously through channels like yours. Those were nice. I wished I could go do stuff like that again. My friends parents had a lime creek and the gov kicked them off the edge of the property. They found arrowheads, shark teeth, muskets and other past era stuff.

@Theditchwalker... Beautiful points!!! You have a real 'Honey Hole' there indeed.... I found a few arrow heads as a kid living in New Mexico mostly obsidian, my two best finds was an obsidian skinning blade and Spear point that is about 5 3/4" long by about 1 3/4" wide at the base made out of 'Jasper' colored flint (not sure if it is actually Jasper)… Sadly most of my collection was stolen years ago probably by someone I thought was my friend; but I managed to keep the Spear point probably because it was not with the rest of the collection.

Hello Mark.....we have three things in common brother, the love of artifact hunting, the same first name, and unfortunately cancer. I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Last bone scan two weeks ago showed it spreading further in my right hip and shoulder. I hope you’re still be able to hunt some. God bless you buddy, Mark Hall

Nice one man I am from idaho where it is illegal to look for arrowheads so I gotta keep it on the down low I just found a heartbreaker purple broken base that would've been at least 5 inches

Yeah I dont see the problem preserving artifacts instead of just leaving them to get stepped on. You get yelled at for walking someone else's property but you just gotta play dumb works everytime

The first point has a traverse flake taken off each side. A traverse flake is a flake that is wider than it is long. That is intentional.

Hey have you tried a long toothed hard rake in the areas in creeks or ditches you find more , to rake the area and you can find a lot that way
I have in a few creeks...most are pretty sandy...I prefer to sift rather than rake because they easily sink into the sand
