@@raymondaranda8716 he joined in 1995 around the same time as Anders so he's not an original member. But he was part of their lineup when their best albums were out (on drums like you said). And then guitar onwards from Colony.
Well if andres didn't decide to sell out maybe all of them would still be there.
They still have some decent riffs but jesus christ is the lyrics and vocals fucking AWFUL. Worse than nu metal and emo metal and metal core cus u expect shitty I love u heart broken lyrics. But not from one of the PIONEERS of melodic death metal.
Man, there's still the best band in the world trapped inside that hollow shell somewhere. What dreams could have come to fruition.

Björn is such a great performer. Him + Jesper were magic.
Its nice to see them recognizing they had real masterpiece and playing them again. Better than anything since.
I'm very surprised to se them playing these songs and I almost feel thankfull for them, but at the same time it is so sad to see them without Jesper ant Peter.

Listen......This seems so much more natural for Anders. No processing, no backing tracks. Just him doing his thing. I just dont understand how forcing his voice to sing clean live over tracks is beneficial. Whats even more bizarre is that since he cant really re create the cleans live he just does more growls. THATS YOUR NATURAL VOICE DUDE!!!
I already commented in another video that you can't miss it, that he still enjoys singing old songs. You can clearly see that he is in his element when he sings these. I guess the problem is there's no one left to compose songs like that. He's missing it, for sure. I don't know why he rejects it everytime in some interviews. Maybe bad PR for their new albums?
Money, album sales, sell out, more important to andres than integrity in great music. 3 of their long time members left cus they didn't want to sell out like him.
I hope they release a Moonshield '17 single, will be a nice cover from In Frames

having listened to IF since 05 it's been a transition with every album but I can totally see why they choose to delve into different sounds, as much as I love the jester race, I would not be happy listening to another album like it in 2017, nor do I think they would be able to grow a fan base releasing music like it today, as great as it is, there are only niches of people who can really appreciate it for what it is.
O yes moon shield is won of my favorites from inflames I wish that inflames could reunite again thy still rocks my world 🌎 there is so much rock and metal and the music 🎶 that you all play is the best in town ❤ eny city and eny country best all around Anders

I am in tears. Anders was back to his screaming self. Well only for this song at least. And they played a different live variant to Moonshield. They’ve played it differently back when Jesper, Daniel and Peter were back in the band. This is still epic though. am glad they didn’t forget their old songs totally. Try to check out 1999 Showdown In Tokyo live and you know what i’m talkin about

Très bonne prestation du groupe, j'ai apprécié la setlist variée, les pistes anciennes, j'ai trouvé aussi que l'interprétation de "Hurt" était excellente. Le son était bon, ce qui aide pour le matériel amateur...

I always felt that early In Flames represented Northern European culture. Quiet, maybe misanthropic, but inquisitive and capable of anything. Above all, proud of their heritage. This new band Anders and Bjorn are in just doesn't have that same feeling because In Flames used to give me goosebumps.

It was a special tour partly "unplugged", only "In Flames" with a string quartet playing with them and a painter "In Our Room Tour" 11 dates only in Europe, it was their choice to do a show more intimate.
They did something similar in 2015 when they played an almost entire old school setlist in small clubs all over Europe. Got to see songs like Jotun, Food For The Gods, The Hive, Ordinary Story and so on

I love IF, but I think they´re trying too hard to get back in time and regain their old fans by playing golden songs like these ones. I don't know, it doesn't sound quite well to be honest. Although, I´m glad they´re trying. For those who don't know, Jesper and Peter got together again and formed Cyhra. Check them out.
Cyhra is freakin awesome, Jesper was the heart of In Flames, loved the old in flames vibe in the new cyhra song.
