- In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Toyota #Grandhighlander #xle then take it for a test drive. The new Grand Highlander is Bigger, turbocharged but is it a good car. Toyota keeps the same towing at 5,000 lbs and has one of the best-in class leg room for third row seats but they still have quirks which will bring me to my pros and cons.

I hate those LED headlights when I'm driving towards cars with these.
But they are great when you are driving with them👍
The lighting is only going to get brighter
Why they don’t have a 3.5 v6 option for this SUV. It would be a winner of 2024 for sure..
They discount that for 23 highlanders and carried over the turbo4 for the Grand Highlander or you can get the Hybrid
For competitors, Traverse has more storage behind the third row, and additional storage below the floor, and a bit more 3rd row headroom as well. 310 HP, and it's naturally aspirated, so no Turbo lag. According to the stats I'm reading, total cargo space is more in the Traverse (albeit by a small margin). So the GH wouldn't be best in class. Maybe this will change when the new 2024 Traverse comes out?
I didn’t compare to this model but it is around .5 plus or minus more or less on the 2024. I will have an update on it when I review it because GMC website doesn’t have exact but the +/- logo 👍
Does the second row captains chair fold flat also or only the bench as shown here?
Yes the captain chairs fold down flat
How do you compare this with mazda cx 90, drive, cabin noise, execution. Which is the better one?
Cabin noise will be less with the cx-90 and more soft interior

@@user-bm7ml1hr9s the phev cx-90 is good but city/hwy MPG’s are better in the hybrid Grand Highlander and you will not need to charge anything. The phev cx-90 isn’t as quite as the turbo, cargo and three row is better in the Grand Highlander.
If you are not using third row and need more cargo I like the Turbo cx-90 but the phev is close to the hybrid Grand Highlander, I know combined MPG’s is more on the phev but you also have to charge it. The ride is more soft in Toyota but the seat cushions are better in Mazda.
$50 K for the 2024
The 2001 was $26 k
It has been over 20 years and the Grand Highlander is bigger if that helps the inflation rate and pricing plus this want not an option then 👍

This is the GRAND highlander, which is brand new for 2024. You're thinking of the standard Highlander.
Since it doesn't have a built-in remote start.
Still garbage.

@@HawkeyeRides Which requires a monthly subscription. Ridiculous.
It dose has remote start but a lot of people don't know how, it push lock button twice quickly & hold the 3rd time for about 5 seconds & the car will fire up.
its actually 6” longer than the HL

How do you compare with Cx90 you just reviewed, have you driven hybrid max?
@@user-bm7ml1hr9s the Cx-90 is more luxurious but it cost more too. The 90 is more quite, 3rd row is better in the grand highlander as well as cargo. Because the Grand highlander is heavier than the highlander you will feel it at lower rpms, the 90 is better with performance. Comfort is better in the 90 but I reviewed a few Grand Highlanders, the limited trim is better and the sweet spot because you get almost every feature the Platinum gets. I haven’t tested the Max yet 👍
