@@nhldraftpros Thank you for your videos. I really like the consistent breakdowns of the players. I can't imagine how much time it takes you to make them!
this kid is a stud. His highlights do not accurately reflect how much he controls the game defensively. I’m the Kitchener Rangers season-ticket holder and he ate us alive
I saw a video a few months ago of someone breaking him down by his game in the 3 zones and he said certain games he will look great in the o zone and neutral zone and not great in his defensive zone then his next game he will be great in his own zone and struggle in the other 2. But if he can put it together and be good in all 3 consistently then he will be a stud top 2 defensemen.
This is one of the higher rated prospects I haven't watched a lot of video of & thought he could slip a little, but for what he offers size, speed & power he has a huge potential. Puck control could be better but that could be worked on, could use his size and strength better, but holy heck, if he doesn't go top 5 or 6 it'll be a crime. So opinion changed.
I’m a London fan and i absolutely loved him. Yes he messed up sometimes but after the playoffs and memorial cup I think he’s top 5. Excellent shot, passing and defensive presence. London runs a man on man defence which is why he’s at the blue line sometimes.
He kinda reminds me of Jake Sanderson in his draft year. Big guy, skates well, has some offensive upside. As a Devils fan this season sucked, but picking him at #10 would be a nice consolation prize.
Think he might have higher upside than Sanderson. He's got a much better shot than Sanderson has. But I do agree with everything else, they do have similar style of play.
@@JZ_OTT As a Devils fan, we could definitely use a guy like prime Ryan Suter. Would probably be a good D partner for Nemec. At pick #10 I'm not necessarily looking for a true #1, although if he ends up being that then great, but all I am looking for is a very good player.
He's going to be gone before Detroit picks but that would be hilarious if they drafted him and then eventually paired with Seider.. Ken and Mick saying Dickin Seider would be hilarious
@@JeanJames-ff3wx Totally agree but for me beside Celebrini, all the other forwards have big question marks... i rather draft the best player and figure it out later.
This guy is definitely a top ten pick and could be the top D taken in the draft. I would love for my Wings to get him but don't think he'll be there when they pick. If a team is in serious need of a stud D, he's the man.
@@nhldraftpros honestly besides Demidov i just see these defensemen being more impactful players first. But the forwards right below them will be solid contributors forsure.
need to see a vid on Michael Hage! Im a flames fan so this whole picking a top prospect thing is new to me your videos are making things much easier thanks for all the good work buddy! I think I would prefer Yakemchuk over Dickinson.
All I gotta say is there's a reason he's not top 5 on most other lists. He's got weird decision making, possibly lacks vision, and sometimes will be soft on the boards. Definitely has the tools, but i wonder if some of the negatives we're seeing is from playing on a powerhouse, OR playing on a powerhouse masks bigger issues in his game
True...but I think there's a ton of special traits to work with...his skating, shooting, etc...given the right situation for progression, he could turn out to be a beast.
I thought Carter Yakemchuk was better. And skating too. On defense, maybe Yakemchuk needs to improve. Dickinson throw reminds me of Pronger. Parekh is good in attack, but really weak in defense, even funny in some ways.
Sharks really rebuilding well last few drafts.
Unreal draft for them today!

Seems like a dominating player. Thx for the video! Top 5 talent for me
Thanks Evan! I like his game too!

Agreed...so we know he has the abilities...he just has to put it all together.
Here because he's a Shark now!
Congrats! Great pick!
He reminds me of Mike Matheson. Good skating, nice zone entries with the puck and not afraid to join the rush.
I really agree. I also think who looks like Mike

Great vid on the best Dman in the class! I'd love to see Terik Parascak soon

Hey is there a mid to late player with huge upside in this draft class, needs a lot of work but incredible potential
I've heard people say Dean Letourneau is that type. High school kid, big body, very high ceiling

@@craigstoner3014 YUP!
I’m pretty torn if the flames should take tij for the pedigree and vibes or a high end defenseman which we actually need badly
Can't go wrong with either TIJ or a top D!
Top D for sure. especially if a guy like Dickinson or even Parekh are available, gotta go with the D man
Unfortunately I don't think Tij is going to still be there at 9.
