I'm not Jewish but find your teaching to be more to the truth and make so much more sense. For most of my life I never felt comfortable with Christianity and felt something didn't add up and didn't make sense. I've been searching for a perfect and a reason for my life and I found it with your teaching. I thank God for the Jewish people and for keeping the word of God. God knew what he was doing when he made u his people. Thank u Rabbi Freeman and may God continue to use u to bring the words to the gentiles like myself. U r definitely a true man of God.

Sounds very one-sided...Why then bother with all the appeals and prayers at all?? If he doesn't need us then he certainly wouldn't have any motive or obligation to save, help or even listen to anyone. What use would it be for a hand to reach up if there is no hand reaching down ? I invite you to contemplate what Di Vinci painted upon the apex of the dome of tbe Cistine Chapel as a challenge to your assertion.

You need to know, understand and believe the message or gospel of salvation and rightly divide the dispensations in the Holy Scriptures.
This is the gospel of salvation:
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
      Galatians 1.8 KJV
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
From here depends the whole message of salvation.

I wasn't intending on watching the whole thing, I was intrigued by the title. But I was riveted and watched the whole thing right to the end. Thank you for the clarity and fresh insights, particularly the distinction between 'reaching up' to atone with the divine, and 'helping God reach down' to bring divinity into the world. I immediately thought about the difficult plight of Solomon, going to such great lengths to create a pure space for God to inhabit, while feeling the pressure to
diversify and take an inclusive stance to other peoples and nations in order to thrive and grow as a kingdom. I think he began the work of bringing God into the world, but shifted his focus towards 'inviting' the world around about into the divine. This talk helps explain the consequent distancing or separation that follows with the last of the Judean Kings.

I love the teachings of Rabbi Manis Friedman for his wisdom comes not from religions but from above! I enjoy listening to his wisdom. I may not agree with him in a few things (and I mean very few) because of my personal experience I had with our Creator that took all my fears away (even the fear of death) long time ago. I believe that having a personal relationship with our Creator has nothing to do with our ethnic background, skin color, or our religious beliefs. but rather it has a lot to do with God's spirit in us.

Likewise after the flood He attempted to give the Torah to many nations and they all rejected Him except Abraham, Tehran, and shem . In a way because we chose Him and looked for God among nations that could care less but believe in in their whatever politically religiously, cultists, God chose us because we want the Torah in our life that's what we said at Mount Sinai ' we will do and we will hear' . So you can't blame jews for being chosen by God everybody else rejected Him who's at fault? They shouldn't even be jealous their ancestors rejected God's covenant, anyone and all peoples are welcome ,but the question is are they willing to take up the covenant of God upon themselves and carry all the days of their life just like jews do ? Are you willing to fulfill the mitzvahs required by God made with us ? Are you willing to love your fellow brother as yourself? Are you willing to follow the commandments of God as best as your ability can help you ? That's what jews did at Mount Sinai we will do we will hear ,first we will do it no question asked , then we will hear Him no one refused to listen or rejected God. So gentiles love to persecute the jews because they jealous of what they missing and is their ancestors fault and their own ego that refuses to follow Torah just like we do they hate jews but they don't want to follow Torah instructions, so don't hate on jews just because they can't and refuse to follow God like we do their own ayin hara and yetzer hara doesn't let them open their heart and be receptive to God's spirit

On our own strength in the power and desires of our flesh we will only seek to fulfill those desires even if they go against Torah. I would say that we are a very sinful and needy people. Friedman is wrong starting at 1:35. He says we are not dependent on God. The "we" he always refers to is the Jews, not anybody else. So, who they are dependent on? The state? He never talks about a covenant where both parties have responsibilities according to the covenant. The covenant has built-in penalty clauses and the Jews suffered for failure to comply with the covenant. People like that he simplifies things - over simplifies them, in fact.

“O children of Israel! Remember My favours upon you. Fulfil your covenant and I will fulfil Mine, and fear only Me. Believe in My revelations which confirm your Scriptures. Do not be the first to deny or trade them for a fleeting gain. And be mindful of Me. Do not mix truth with falsehood or hide the truth knowingly. Establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and bow down with those who bow down. Do you preach righteousness and fail to practice it yourselves, although you read the Scripture? Do you not understand? And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is a burden except for the humble-those who are certain that they will meet their Lord and to Him they will return.”

Both notions are true. We need the creation because the Creator created all things to his pleasure. He created all things so that he is needed. So he needs us to need him and that is the love relation. To have love we need to need each other. So the more you need the Creator the more you love him with all our heart and soul. That is why the Creator is so patient with all of us because he wants us to love him, to need him more than anything.
If you don't need the Creator the Creator will not know you and will not need you anymore. And what happens to anything created by anything that is forgotten destruction, you are thrown into the bin, the trash can, the Abyss.
This suffering is because you did not need the Creator, you even asked for a king, a man as a leader and the Creator saw that he was not needed anymore so the love between the Israelites was lost and so you were lost. And were given to destruction. As the Creator had lost his love and his hand of protection was lifted from the Israelites.
Like all love relationship if there is no need of each other you will not stay together.

The mind is the self aware I Am presence..all I got out of mind is..
Memories is next destination or other irrelevant answers that leave me knowing my metaphysical essence is left to be absorbed by my next physical manifestation to bring forth the newly formed all knowing identity of I Am presence leaving me trapped in an endless cycle of reincarnation 🙄 where at this point I refuse to accept it rather not come back 🤷

    Regarding life.
The below is straight from Genesis 3. If someone does find Rabi’s teaching aligned with these verses, please let me know how, cause I don’t.
Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Genesis 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

I will try to offer a glimpse of some connection if I can. It is the 'trespass' of eating of the forbidden fruit of knowledge that brings about the consequence : death..
So if man, having now been 'infected' by mortality, reaches out and eats of the fruit from the 'Tree of Life" this would be a much worse state of affairs, something like 'everlasting death'.
The manner by which man came to 'knowledge' and would have come to eternal life seems to be 'backwards' or 'inverted', when compared to how these emanated or sprang forth from the divine. Man 'eats' them instead, and so sets in motion the opposite of creation, the 'Fall' is a descent deeper into time, causality and mortality. I hope that offers a bit of clarity, I only responded because I understand your frustrations, the creation drama does not make sense with any empirical rationalization, it forces us to try and comprehend from a deeper place.

@@markjohnson4217 The bible clearly states that man can’t touch the tree of life, as a consequence of disobedience, but Rabbi suggests repeatedly that life of a man, after his death, is still ethernal. This view, to me, seems in no connection with the story of the tree of life.

Do they not know that Allah is aware of what they conceal and what they reveal? And among them are the illiterate who know nothing about the Scripture except lies, and ˹so˺ they ˹wishfully˺ speculate. So woe to those who distort the Scripture with their own hands then say, “This is from Allah”-seeking a fleeting gain! So woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they have earned. ˹Some of˺ the Jews claim, “The Fire will not touch us except for a number of days.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Have you taken a pledge from Allah-for Allah never breaks His word-or are you ˹just˺ saying about Allah what you do not know?” But no! Those who commit evil and are engrossed in sin will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever. And those who believe and do good will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever. (Quran 2:77-82)

@Jacob Keys i think the best way to describe the experience of Ayahuasca is not so much 'worship' or 'serve', but 'participate'. When one feels connected with a living conscious continuum, this relationship with the divine loses all sense of duality (me and thee) and starts to take on a sense of mutual dynamic flux. A 'concentric living fractal event of multiplicit frequencies' would be the closest descriptive model I can think of to express what I experienced..

    • @markjohnson4217

@Jacob Keys I don't feel that it was 'mechanism' that I described, or any kind of 'artifact', it was simply an attempt to
describe an experience to those who aren't familiar with it. It seems that you are very eager to impose your own notions about how one 'ought to feel or think' about anything supernormal. I don't know what your own spiritual experiences are like, or if in fact you have had any, but I would very much like to hear your own contribution to such a discussion.

I cannot agree with this. Our eternal God is all powerful and perfect. In him there is no need for anything. To say he needs us is like saying there is a weakness or imperfection in God. I am quite content in being a creature subject to laws of the creator. Yes it is difficult, but his grace is sufficient.

The 'imperfection' that is suggested by this relationship might be better expressed as 'incomplete', meaning that Creation only reaches its final completion with the atonement of the above with the below, Heaven and Earth in a divine unification. As long as creation is still unfolding and all remains separate from the creator, there is imbalance ; the cosmos is still 'wanting'...

@@Jagueyes1Defeating enemies of God should be a minor affair; sea snakes, cockroaches, army ants...I would be more concerned about when the Creator 'uncreates' All and unravels each realm. Those seven seals opened by the Lamb are each of the seven days shattering apart. I don't think creation is his enemy, but as certain as inertia and entropy, its gonna get messed up and undone as part of the plan. But there may be a few doves slight, swift, and pure enough to slip thru the needle's eye. I hope you have started downsizing, I know I have been getting rid of all heavy unnecesary shit in preparation for that big crunch. All that is coarse and perishable will of course be whipped and baked into lemon merange cupcakes for the wedding feast. Nothing goes to waste, nothing is just "neutralized' and 'defeated' and then left to rot. Every particle is useful and contributes willingly or unwillingly to the wedding feast. This final marriage is of course the Kingdom of Heaven descending upon the Earth and zapping her to life via the holy spirit through US so that she can become the living being that she was supposed to be in the first place...
The result will not be a conquering warlord God gloating over slain dragons on a bloodied field. Apparently the final words of the Book of Revealations are those spoken by the conjoined divine couple; 'I am the root of David...the bright morning star.!!"
Six pointed, double triad with a SEVENTH shining calmly from the centre. Much bigger and better than universal peace, this is an awakened living cosmos of pure light...THAT is what we are workin for Sunny!
