The problem with traditional English language lessons is they force you to think about rules and translations when you LEARN. So you must think - and overwork your brain - when you SPEAK, and communication becomes frustrating or impossible. The solution is to learn English as a FIRST language, rather than as a second language. :) Speak With Us: Website: englishanyone.com Facebook: facebook.com/englishanyone Twitter: twitter.com/englishanyone Instagram: @englishanyone #EnglishFluencyGuide #LearnEnglishAsAFirstLanguage #SpeakFluentEnglishConfidently
Hey Drew, it`s always a pleasure to see you teaching us. I am really impressed of how clearly you pronounce and explain all single video lessons. Funny thing of this video is the fact that you`ve started with the words " actually this video are supposed to be a short one" but then it last for almost 1h40 min though. Nevertheless you are a great guy. I love to watch all your videos and helpful lessons to getting more fluent and to enhance my(and others) english langueage skills. Thank you very much for your effort and time. Hope to meet you once in my life. Many greetings from Germany to Japan.!
Wow, another great lesson! You're really very generous with your time, and so patient because you often have to answer the same questions. And we can feel your same investment, though. Congratulations! 😅 I'm absolutely convinced by your EFL way to teach, as I feel closer and closer to fluency. But what can still get me stuck is that I'm a bit too much of a perfectionist. For example, an important point that I have to work on, is that I know very well the right tense of a verb but I can give the wrong one if I don't have enough time to think...That makes me mad! 😖 And the same for any word I could have on the tip of my tongue…
Traditional ESL lessons don't give you any benefit greater than learning like a native. But the reason most schools use the ESL approach is because they don't care if their students are able to SPEAK. They only need to pass tests. :)
@@culapantaka The interesting thing is the EFL approach helps learners speak AND prepares them better for tests than ESL methods. In the near future, EFL will become the dominant method. :)
Can is really for ability. It’s like asking if you are able to do something. So when requesting, “may” is the proper word. But almost everyone breaks this rule in conversations. :)
I wonder if there is any books to teach English by EFL method for those of us who don't have a teacher like you who explains a word in different situations

Hello from Poland
Great video
@4:58 Is it ‘much more calm’ or ‘much calmer’ or both? Why do you use ‘much more calm’ here? Thanks
Hi Drew, Do you also help students on Tiktok, if not are you supposed to plan it one day?
ESL is a way to learn difficult English to use. Got it.
Traditional ESL lessons don't give you any benefit greater than learning like a native. But the reason most schools use the ESL approach is because they don't care if their students are able to SPEAK. They only need to pass tests. :)
@@EnglishAnyone I agree. They just meet the needs of the students. :)

Why "Can I have" is an incorrect grammar/usage?

Can I suggest your handwriting clearer?
Why don’t you use the sentence like : I would like a cup of coffee .
As a fluent speaker of English I disagree with you a little -"Repetitio mater memoriae".
