Odesanmi, am glad the video was helpful, but if you need a complete guide on how to raise commercial broilers for profit, The Broilers Video Course will be more helpful. Here's the course details below farmsdiary.com.ng/step/broilers-video-course
Detailed video as usual. I see u didn't include the cost of transportation, which is a very important one. Some farms are not sited in the metropolis and spend much on transports.
You're right Mr. Anthony, and I'd encourage you add it, as well. But since transportation is not a daily activity, it can be added to miscellaneous/unforseen costs.
Another amazing content. Well done and I see that you’ve gone from 500 birds to 850. Brilliant. Can you please make a video on how to go about securing insurance for the chicks. I mean step by step from how to apply and how to claim. Thank you 🙏🏾
You do well but which local Okigwe, Udi, Afikpo or Mbaise women (Farmer) can calculate that your Math. The point the let the youths start something doing less other illegal activities. 👌🙏❣💖💘
@@farmsdiary We lost 50 birds to the heat, but we still had a profitable cycle. I had to be giving them iced water by 1pm - 3pm and deployed hurricane fans, which of course required hours of generator use.
You did well.. You can use this time to plant an umbrella tree, hopefully, b4 next year, it would have grown a little, to at least contribute to oxygen circulation. Then hopefully, in 2 to 4 years, must have grown, to cover area of d zinc
@@farmsdiary Thanks for your suggestion. But my worry is this: won't the wild migratory birds that carry the Avian influenza virus use such a tree as a resting place? Not to talk of snakes...
If those kinda birds are within your premises, nothing still prevents them from perching on your roof, the same for snakes, if your farm is within their comfort zone. So for heat sake, still plant the trees. There are ways farms set net traps on their trees, to catch birds or scare them away
Welldone Sir. This was helpful. Please how can i reach you though i signed up to your newsletter already. Honestly i have been watching your videos for virtually the whole day and i plan to continue. They just answer my questions as an intending farmer. Big shout out to you Sir😊❤

You did not include transportation
Specifically not included, but you can add it to miscellaneous expenses.

I've met wiser farmers oo...
The heat was a hair-raising influence in the last two months.
Hope it didn't affect your farm?
