@boodle399 i saw a compilation recently that featured that telling of the Sbob House Tale and it was a very early episode I think, either 5 or 7. It might not have been either of those but it was definitely a single digit episode
Ive looked at petco stuff for fish before cause i have a lizard and alot of it looks like good enrichment, and let me tell you, that stuff feels fragile and almost every edge is sharp and un-sanded. The toy houses and things have incredibly thin walls too, like they’re trying to keep it lightweight or cut back on the amount of material used.
I never heard any 'spongebob rumors' but when i was little (like maybe 6-8 at the oldest) i found those ms paint spongebob saw videos on youtube and they freaked me out so bad i would have reoccurring nightmares about living through those videos and getting put in the wrong tube by spongebob and gassed. As i got older the memories of the videos faded but i could still vaguely remember the dreams so i thought it was just my tiny mind congealing stuff together (watched spongebob and am jewish). Until one day about a year ago a compilation of those videos popped up in my recommended and it all came flooding back in one of the most surreal moments of my life to date. like imagine seeing a reoccurring nightmare you had as a kid perfectly replicated by a stranger. in ms paint.
I worked Aquarium at my locsl petco for a year and we specifically had a group of teenagers we had to ban from the store because they'd come in and "accidentally" smash the ceramic tank decorations.
seeing wayne talk about stew leonards is so vindicating because it was such a legendary thing for me as a kid people would come to school bragging they got to go over the weekend i went maybe once and HATED it and when i bring it up to people they think im crazy because it sounds unreal. but its real.
Okay but I actually did have a nightmare once that partially took place in a Stew Leonard's type of location. It was a grocery store but also an amusement park and a horrible clown-filled fun maze, and I was piggyback carrying my partner's dad (who I have never met) through it because I came over to my partner's house without her parents knowing and hid in her bathroom when they came up to her room, but I got caught so her dad chased me trying to kill me while I tried to run several thousand miles back home. He eventually got tired but insisted on me carrying him the whole way to my house and if I could do that then he'd let me be with his daughter. Anyways the Stew Leonard's was one of many locations I carried him through but I remember it most vividly because there was a winding maze through the middle of it lined with refrigerators full of raw meat and all the walls were painted a painfully bright red and there were clowns leaning over deli counters to watch us and offer us sausage but I didn't have any money so I had to politely decline every one of them. We were in there for so long that by the time we got to the other side and out of the store I looked up and the moon was full and high in the sky even though it had only been late afternoon when we came in. I don't think I'm ever visiting Connecticut
6:15 The Sbob House is one of my favorite bits of Wayne lore. The way he tells this story on the podcast kills me every time. Sbob Spiker 4ever.

an underrated descent into waynesanity
The main character, Spongebob, lives inside a giant pineapple. How do you think he acquired this house? Through jihad.
