How to add different products to the same Shopify product listing using Printful (Variants)

Here is a quick video that shows you how to add any product as a variant of another product so that it will show up in a drop down menu on the same product listing page.
For example, I added a "no frame" option to my framed prints instead of having separate listings for framed, and non-framed prints.
IDK this is hard to explain but good to know to keep your shop organized!

Seems like a Printful issue they may or may not be aware of 🎉 You did a wonderful job exactly what I was looking for however I needed it for clothing... so when I tried and I follow step-by-step which everything was okay I made the product but stopped because it looks like I have to insert one color at a time, sadly.. thank you very much for the video!

Hey this is a great video. It may be what I'm looking for. I'm looking to give the customer the option to add either a wood or metal base to their shed as an add on but without them having to choose the size. my competitors seem to have done this. If this is possible can we maybe connect somehow?

Great! Is it possible to add multiple, same sized print designs into one product? What i find a bit annoying is, in art department i can only choose one mockup. Or is there a way for multiple mockup images, without downloading them?
im not totally sure but if it is the image you want to change and have variants of as opposed to the product I think all you have to do is click the "add variant" button on Printful (shown at 2:11) and change the design.
unfortunatley I have never tried this so I am not sure.
Does this work on mobile as cant seem to find it?
I was able to find exactly how to do this with you tutorial but I could not find the weight for my larger mug. I searched the Printify product description, the published one in shopify, and in the editor page of printify. It doesn't seem to show weight for everything. I am not feeling confident to post a variant without the correct weight. I'm sure I'll need to reach out to printify customer service but just FYI for anyone else looking for it as well.
Interesting, when you make make the product listing for this larger mug by itself (not as a variant) printful usually fills this information in when you look at the product details on the spotify dashboard. Once you know you can delete the product from your site and add it as a variant instead. Hopefully this helps!
Hey, does this only work if you have 1 size of the print available? I tried doing this, but it doesn’t work. I have 5 sizes available.. so when I click on add variant, it only shows me more sizes to choose from :(
If I understand correctly I think you would have to create a new varriant on shopify first for each of the size options (this would be a lot of work if you have many pieces) and then follow the steps in this video. Im sorry if this doesn't help I have not tried this before.
hey.. at minute 0:50 when you selected the variant.. it scrolled down automatically... can you switch that off?

Unfortunatley I don't know anything about printify...You could try adding a varian on your shoppify store and see if that changes any options over on printify but im just not sure. sorry and best of luck!
Did you try it with printify? I'm just uploading all my products there right now before starting my shopify store, and not being able to include different frame and border options is throwing me off.
@@devinp668 I only use printful so sadly I'm not sure. If your just getting started it may be worth switching? What made you choose printify?
@johnYAY sorry, I was trying to reply to the person who asked about printify bc I saw you had said you don't use it. Unfortunately Printful charges twice as much as Printify for what I'm selling, and has less options. I'll figure something out :)
