      Realistic for who? lol I can barely afford the payments on the cheapest JT I could find much less all the stuff in this video. I'll just have to deal with being high centered all the time. lol

    Nice build! Im not sure but Jeep says the mopar 2 inch lift can clear 37s with the JT rubicon. Also, I thought the OE axles can handle 37s if you dont wheel too hard.

    Really like the look of 2.5" lifts. I think they're perfect at 2.5" with 37". I got a full Teraflex lift coming for my JL.

    How much to install that kit in your shop approximately? With the truss? Think it’ will still fit in a standard 80” garage with 37’s? Awesome build. Bronze definitely goes with red for some reason.

    Wad Up Bubba,
    I'm torn between the 4.5 & 6.5 Evo lift kit Overland stage 4 plus with drop brackets. I seen Mel's OG 40 do some impressive stuff with such a high lift. Gladiators have a long wheel base so the higher the better but I'm new to this and I asking the experts from people I trust for there knowledge an experience. My JTR will see NO overlanding loading down the bed with racks & tents unnecessary weight. I will be hitting trail and crawling so I might have to get a custom kit with spring rates that aren't so stiff but I don't know. What are your thoughts? I'm new to the Jeep scene so my skill level is beginner but I will be going balls deep experiencing a new way of life .

      Check out the EVO mfg Fusion 6.5” kit. Coil overs in the front and King shocks in the rear. A great setup and basically what we’ve been running for the past 7 months on ours.

    • @pwrofgrayskull
      @pwrofgrayskull 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exodus Jeeps: what are the ACTUAL measured lift heights (front AND rear measured gains) on the 2.5, 4.5, and 6.5 Evo Gladiator lifts? Have you measured the gains? I’ve seen some interesting reports on the actual lift height when installed on some of these lifts so I wanted to check with you and get your take on it. Thanks.

    • @Exodus4x4
      @Exodus4x4  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @pwrofgrayskull I have not. It’s looks to be right at 2.5” though and EVO has historically been one of the more accurate lifts in terms of advertised lift height.

    • @pwrofgrayskull
      @pwrofgrayskull 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exodus Jeeps: cool, thank you. 2.5 on both the front and rear or less lift in the rear would you say? I’m using mine as both a Jeep off road and a truck (hauling and towing) depending on the day of the week so the front/rear heights are important for my application. Thanks. 👍✌️

    • @Exodus4x4
      @Exodus4x4  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @pwrofgrayskull it really depends on the level of wheeling you want to do. Light trails then yeah 2.5” with 37’s is good. Rock crawling it then you’ll want D60’s, 40” tires, and a 6.5” lift. It’s really up to you to decide where you want that lift to be.

    i know this might be a dumb question to some of yall but does adding a truss void your warranty cause im planning to buy one for my dad and weld it in for him as a surprise since hes been talking about it,Also does puting coilovers on the front void your warranty on the gladiator since you have to cut out the stock shock mount,lastly (sorry i just need these questions answered) Does cutting off the sway bar disconnect mounts witch look like tusks void you warranty,Hopefully you can solve my answers cause im wanting to be sure what im gonna do before i do it

    Could you go with a 38 inch tire without issues? Really like that new springs are all that are required to add more tire (along with driveline stuff). I've also heard that the 2.5 lifts are usually higher than that with EVO lifts.

  • @PreonEnergy
    @PreonEnergy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is exactly what I want to do. I agree, it just looks better with a lower profile. However, one question I have is, how much articulation am I giving up by going with a shorter lift? Is the travel difference the same as the lift height difference? Meaning I would get two more inches of articulation with a 4.5 inch lift kit? This would matter to me since I still want to do some 7 rated trials in Moab.

    • @Exodus4x4
      @Exodus4x4  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For Moab I would recommend a minimum of 4.5” if lift and 37” tires.

    Love the bronze wheels.... Hey that brings a question to mind. What wheel manufacturer makes a quality off road 17x9 bronze or copper finish bead-lock wheel? I am trying to decide on what wheels to put on my 2" lift teal (bikini) 2 door Rubicon with powder coated to match Road Armor stealth fenders (higher clearance than stock Rubi fenders) running BFG KM3 37 13.5 R17's and I am unsure of what backspacing might be necessary running on the stock 44 axles (with 5.13 gears soon to be installed). I looked at the Method 106's but I am unsure of how good they are, even if they look awesome I need something that will handle the trail more than how pretty they are.
