    Baton 3 Pro VS Warrior Mini 2.. I prefer Warrior Mini 2.. better UI (tail-switch and side-button!), tighter spot AND better spill, higher drain battery, lens down in pocket, glass on the lens. The lens is actually combined TIR and smooth reflector. Only downside with Warrior Mini 2 is the boring emitter, very low CRI and a little greenish but not too bad. The SST40W in the Baton 3 Pro does a much better job with colors. What do you think?

      Thank you for the comparison. You're demonstrating the Baton 3 Pro in Neutral White, correct?

      @@alanstewart2450 Thank you for your support sir! Yes, it’s the neutral white Baton 3 Pro. The Warrior Mini 2 is cold white.

      @@AG4runner I would choose to keep the Warrior Mini 2. It is not the same battery. They are both Olights 18650 but the one in Warrior Mini 2 is a high drain battery so you could smack on the turbo from 0 to 100 directly, Baton 3 Pro is dimming in the turbo, like it is fading in. Also I think you can use the turbo on lower battery on Warrior Mini 2. That is one thing I don’t like with Olight, their great regulated drivers and protected batteries makes turbo not working below 75% battery, and the MCC3-charger only charge the battery to 90%, it’s safe and good to the battery, but the turbo is only useful when battery is 75-90%. Not much. That’s how the Warrior X 3 and Seeker 3 Pro work, and Warrior X 3 is fairly useless when turbo is not working. A brand like Sofirn with unprotected batteries can use the turbo for much longer.

      @@AG4runner Interesting! Yeah, I prefer the higher drain battery. I guess the Baton 3 Pros driver just don’t use the higher drain, even though the battery can provide it. I have to say that one thing I really like with Olight is their take on safety.. high quality components, safe charging, protected batteries, timed step down plus temperature-control (set to low temp) and often proximity-sensors. It’s a peace of mind to use them.

      @@AG4runner Yeah, well said. It’s kinda addicting once you get a few nice lights. I would try to stay away from nice emitters with high CRI for a while, once you are on the hunt for your preferred emitter in the perfect UI this hobby can get really expensive. 😅

    I just want to comment and say thanks for playing a soft tune in the background, for some reason it helps to better focus on the video and feels like I'm there on that walk in the snow haha

    This the best insight I've experienced with researching lights. I just got into olight for security work starting with my firearm, then a coworker who is a light freak had me jealous of his streamlight and I bought a warrior x 3, now I'm addicted.

      Thank you! Warrior X 3 is a great light. If used for work I think it would be a great idea to buy a extra battery and keep it in a safe container during your shift. Then if the battery can’t support the turbo you could easily swap out the battery. Only downside is that you have to charge both batteries in the light, but it might be worth it. Enjoy your new addiction to flashlights, and welcome to the club, haha.

    There need to be more comparison videos in this simple style!
    To freshen your memories, the stats for the two torches are: Baton 3 Pro 1,500lm 175m, Warrior Mini 2 1,750lm 220m

      Tackar!! Haha, japp jag är svensk. Kul att klippet kan vara till någon nytta. 👍🏼 Det är lite tråkigt att vi i princip bara har Valostore att beställa Olight från här i landet. Hade önskat lite mer rabatter, klubberbjudanden och roliga färger som dom har i andra länder.

      @@JoelsVideoklipp Ja det är lite synd. Tur att Valostore har en bra service iaf 🙂 Jag har beställt en ficklampa från sidan Flashlightbrand också. De har ett par stycken Olight modeller i andra färger än bara standard svart, men det är ganska lång leveranstid då de skickar från Kina. Frakten var dock ganska billig, tror den låg på $6 eller någonstans däromkring 🙂 (Jag har dock inte fått hem lampan än)

    Awesome night shots. Might be picking up the Warrior Mini 2 soon in Cool White - if there's a choice. I'm not fond of High CRI. Maybe just so used to the white, blu-ish, color in LED flashlights over the years. Seems brighter and more crisp detail to my eyes. Great video and great music. Is that Ludovico Einaudi?

    • @JoelsVideoklipp
      @JoelsVideoklipp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The song is called Falls by Keith Kenniff. Yeah, it’s kind of interesting about the CRI and warmer light. It’s not always better to be honest. Firstly the light will be warmer and draw more power. It will not be as bright as the cooler light. Also, one thing I can’t see anyone discussing is that when you have a warm light with high CRI it can increase how scary things are in the woods for instance. With a cooler light and low CRI it’s like the brain goes into work-mode, you see things well and can perform tasks without too much feelings. Inside in a safe place it’s always better with warmer light with high CRI, but out in the woods I’m not so sure. The SST40, the LED used in Warrior Mini 2 and Baton 3 Pro, is not so blueish though, it’s more greenish.

      @@JoelsVideoklipp Interesting observation on the high CRI. Makes sense actually. Amazon sent me the wrong flashlight twice, an Olight i5R HCRI which is the high CRI version of the i5R. Can't member the CRI level. I gave it a good 24 hour testing both times because I hated to have to send it back and wait again for the one I had wanted (which actually has a higher lumen output as you noted with the cooler white). I just couldn't get used to it. I noticed it brought more color out, but my eyes also seemed not to focus as quick or something in that light.
      I'll have to take note of the greener tint to the Warrior Mini 2 when it comes in. Don't think I've seen that yet. I'm hitting the Flash Sale this coming 7th-9th. We'll see. Thanks for the reply and I'll check out the song.

      Very interesting to hear about your experience with high CRI! Thanks for the comment, I can understand what you mean. I wish we had those sales here in Sweden, ironically it’s easier to get all Sofirn models shipped from China than getting all the Olight models here. But I’m happy for you, I hope you get a great deal! 🤠👍🏼
