- I'll take you along the journey of installing and setting up OpenBSD on a laptop. I already installed it on the laptop, but couldn't get display mirroring to work from the laptop BIOS, so a VM will do for now for showing you the installation.

If I reduce the size of a partition, then why do I need to add the freed space to another partition? Or is the disk partitioning program unable to automatically rebuild the starting and ending bytes of partitions?
@@Artificialuser-hb3td the thing is that you can't really resize filesystems later. Well, you can, but only the one that's last in the list. And you can only make it bigger, not smaller.
Awesome mate! Watched your videos and give a run on my Sun Ultra 25 sparc64. Perfect install! Keep em coming! What be great to do some more stuff media playing, downgrading Mesa (as we do have old Radeon cards in the machine XVR-50/100/300) and also on (if ossible) using zfs as filesystem.
For ZFS you would have to take a look at either Illumos or FreeBSD, OpenBSD only does FFS. But great to hear you got it running nicely.

It might be missing a firmware, or something is wrong with your cable and/or switch/router.
I would like to be able to read ext4 partitions in Linux with Xbsd.
You can mount ext2 read only with OpenBSD.
