Very disciplined bassist to stay in the pocket when Chad started cooking like that, loved this whole video
And the drummer too. Sometimes when people follow or color with the soloist it is less than the sum of its parts. But when guys hold it down like this you feel the ecstasy
@@ernietollar407Of all the rhythm sections in this series of videos, these guys are definitely the best by far. The pocket is off the scale. Totally holding it down and keeping them music swinging, sprinkling colour and adding forward momentum when required. Absolutely sublime.
