I know nothing about your politics, religious philosophy, etc., but from the way you care about animals I can tell you're a really good person, Brady Brandwood. Thanks again for all the great videos, brother.
My late mother's cat, when he realized she wasn't coming back, started hanging around me. If I'm sitting, he is on my lap or on the chair arm with his paw on my arm. Laying down, he's on my shoulder.
They really do grieve ,don't they? I adopted a cat whose elderly lady had passed away. He was really traumatised, it took a long time for him to stop hiding away, and now he's my constant companion and a snuggle monster. But I had about 6 months when I thought he was 'broken'. He must have loved his old lady a lot. x
@@Bradybrandwood How long did it take for Jett to start getting better from when he fell ill? Our kitty started displaying similar symptoms 5 days ago and the vet couldn't find anything wrong either and I'm suspecting it might be a virus that his body is fighting, causing him to be lethargic and lose his appetite.
So funny how this story develops not unlike a TV show- new characters are always popping in, all with their own drama and pathos. Loved the bit with the chickens do they fly-fighting play.
Many years ago, a friend had two six month old kittens that were terrorizing his older cats and tearing up his house. He was boarding them at the vet, and they were about to go to the shelter when he heard I was looking for cats to adopt. It was a match made in heaven for me. All it took was a little understanding and the right environment for them to thrive. Everyone told me not to take them, but I did and it was the best thing I ever did. They grew up to be friendly and very affectionate cats that lived into their twenties. Sometimes all it takes is patience, love and understanding.
All the best for Jet and the Chicks. Cats definitely have personalities on their own. I had a cat we got when I was about 6 yrs old. A common housecat from a local farmer. He was the first kitten running up to me back then. He was always scared seeing my grandpa thus we thought he was abused by the older farmer. But he was heartwarming and loyal. He always comforted me when feeling sad. We grew up together and we always shared our day together. Gaming, sleeping, studying, even playing outside as a kid. He was like a brother for me and it still hurts after loosing him to cancer 4 yrs ago. Thanks for sharing ur wonderful journey with Leon. Greets from Austria ❤
@@graphite2786it’s unfortunate because they are loyal and beautiful dogs. But that’s also the issue, everyone thinks they’re normal dogs. They are so high energy and require so much care and attention. They think they can treat a husky like a golden retriever. Few walks a day, normal heated environment and leave them at home for 8+ hours. Then they wonder why the husky has behavior issues and eventually dump them.
I love that ever since adopting Leon, you’ve amassed such a wild bunch of critters. I think it makes sense, these animals know your love for the outdoors and I think they find comfort in that.
I'm so sorry to hear about the hen and chicks, but I was relieved to see y'all taking care of the rest of her brood. I hope Jet feels better soon and gets back to his spunky self.
Just this morning I had to take baby nestling bird to the local wildlife rescue sanctuary. My cat brought him to me last night. Baby bird was in good shape though he will survive. Thanks for helping all the needy animals Brady. You are good people.
The cops won't do anything. They don't care. Dogs have literally overrun society, people treat them as more valuable than human children. It's madness.
Yes. Irresponsible. Maybe with a fine and mandatory fencing...all Brady's animals will stay safe. It makes me mad. I have two huskies and every spring and summer we have birds that nest on my roof under the vents. When the babies fledge they leap for the big tree and some don't quite make it to a branch and end up in the grass. They've gotten a hold of a couple of babies and killed 2 about two seasons ago. Now, I have most of my backyard blocked off in the spring and summer so the dogs can't go anywhere near the trees or the other part of the backyard. There is a bush in the corner where they usually go to for safety. This season, I"m confident all the babies will stay out of my huskies reach...and they will stay safe. I just feel bad because they can't stay out long to play and have reduced running space. At night, I let them stay out a little longer but will have to worry about mosquitos LOL. Anyway...it's sad that such a cute breed of dog has the capability to kill. But yes...the neighbors need to be held accountable...whether those are/were Brady's chickens or not. So sad.
@@comtnmist I think all doggos have the capability to kill. All the kitties too. I have 3 very soft snuggly cats, and I've had to limit their outings because they kept bringing me 'presents'. Here in the UK, we have fewer and fewer birds around and I won't have my cats adding to the problem. The doggos are the same, if they get a chance and the moment is right. They're all carnivores so it's far too hardwired to not emerge at times, even though we feed them to bursting! Just the way it is. I hope you will continue to produce them in the future :D
I'm sure your vet is doing the best for Jett. I'll just add that my male cat, years ago, got lethargic, and would go to a "safe place". After a bit of vet trips, we learned he had an enlarged heart. Something like 25% of male cats have enlarged hearts. They said he's not in pain most the time, just when he goes into the safe spot he may be. They could give him medicine, but it wouldn't stop the bouts of pain, and it would give him one or two more years than the 3 they were giving him. Sadly, I didn't have the money to continue to give him medicine for years, so I decided to just make him the happiest cat with the time we had left. He lived another 8 years, and while he occasionally would have troubles, most the time he was the happiest cat, spoiled with love.
Your photography is always first rate! Thank you for taking in the chicks. Hope Jett recovers. Your subscriber family is always ready for a bit of relaxable nature in this crazy world that we live in. Thank you!

A Leon video is always pleasant and relaxing. Good luck with the chicks, and with Jett. Note: I've watched rescues of factory hens. The first thing they do when out of their crates, with room to move for the first time in their lives, is try to take a dust bath. Must be basic and useful to them.

It’s crazy to me that I’ve been watching Leon since the first couple months, seeing how happy he’s grown and has brought you much deserved exposure🙌🏼 thank you Brady!!
Awesome JamesG! Thanks for checking out Leon’s journey. ✌️✌️✌️
Such a wonderful environment...You're very lucky and it's so awesome, seeing Leon is looking better than ever...Those of us that saw him from the day you took the bands off his claws to now and then the move, can only admire your life...:)...Love all the new additions to your preserve family...
Greetings from the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Best wishes and greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! Coming to your neck of your woods mid to end June 2024.
Hello from my 2009 Pontiac G8 (Commodore VE) & I in Phoenix Arizona USA🌡🔥
Hey from Brisbane! Neighbours! 😂
I have loved that dag lobster since this channel first took off about his journey now its a whole animal show. and all the little creatures from almost every walk of life are featured here. I always watch til the end and appreciate every story with a smile. I have an appreciation for lobsters now that I never had before thanks to Leon and its nature show.
Aww my rescue cat was returned twice. He was just not into people. Being a cat person, I let him just be a cat & express himself. Then bought a microchip cat flap. That was a game changer. That evening 3 weeks after having him. Came sat on my knee and gave me headbutts! Had him 10yrs now we are best buddy's. Well until flea n vet time ❤
I swear my cat chose my daughter. He's like a puppy around her. He'll tolerate me if I'm feeding him, but she's literally his best friend (it's sweet as hell - funny too because he doesn't much like any other humans lol). They 21 and 11 years old now. Still best buddies.
If I’m sitting down, which I’ve been doing a lot of lately due to a broken tibia and fibula, I always have a cat on me and sometimes 2. Somehow I’ve ended up with 7 cats now. All rescue situations. So I always have plenty of attention
7 cats. That s a lot. But I hope everything going well.
So Thou Lobster is Maidenless
No lobsteresses?
No lobstussy?
@@jaimegonzaloelices3346 I think it's lobstriss if she's single, but lobsteress if she's married.
Brady, thank you so much for your videos. I can hardly wait for each new one to show. I have a long, bushy tailed black cat, Blossom, that I rescued in my back yard. She was only three days old. She is now 15 years old. I hope Jet has safely recovered by the time your next video comes out. For many of your followers, you are the
"bees knees." I love the chicks. They couldn't have a better home and an adopted dad along with his other adopted and loved menagerie of critters.
Thank you, Brady, oh, and Leon too.
Im ragin about that neighbour!!!
I so love Leon. & the big little crab. Poor Jet. Hope he’s better soon… I am so very sorry about the hen & chicks. At least the other chicks have a wonderful home. You are such people ❤ thank you & thank you for sharing them with us.
Dude your running a halfway house for homless Animals lol God Bless Yall !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg that poor hen and two chicks that's terrible 😢
Leon is the best! Thanks for all the videos Mr. Brady! There is always quality and top notch performance in editing! I guess I can speak in the name of the viewers either that we love your content and we are grateful to have it. It is always a pleasure to watch the videos. I hope you will continue to produce them in the future :D
You are a good man Brady. Wish many more were as compassionate as you. Thanks for showing such love and respect for all your creatures.
Great to see leon doing well.
Once again, I catch myself smiling while watching your videos. Thank you for that.
I'm really worried about Jet. I hope he's better soon! ❤
Your photography is always first rate! Thank you for taking in the chicks. Hope Jett recovers. Your subscriber family is always ready for a bit of relaxable nature in this crazy world that we live in. Thank you!
Best animal channel on YOU tube -- you are a hero!!!
In the midst of sickness and sadness, your calm voice is comforting.
Awesome kathrynr! Thank you so much for watching! ✌️✌️✌️
So when are you building the chicken house?
THIS. Those birds need protection.
@@WobblesandBean True. But Brady shouldn't have to build stuff to keep animals safe on his property. Dogs are required to be on a leash or confined to their own yard. But i'd love to see what he comes up with for a cute chicken coop.
So excited to see how Leon is going.❤️
This is now one of my favourite TH-cam channels! Love Leon and his friends.
Two years later, and Leon is still with us nice to know❤😊
Every time I watch your videos I get this really gut churning feeling. It's all the nature and positive solitude of it's exploration. Thank you for including so much of the American countryside.
Brady, u and your family are amazing. Thank u sooooo soooo much for caring about animals, wildlife, nature and our environment in general. Poor beautiful Jett, I hope he is doing better!
I love these videos. The fact that you not only took in 2 kittens from a feral mom you randomly found, but also taking in (sadly only 5/8) chickens into your life and take care of those animals, not to mention Leon of course, is something special. The world needs more people like you Brady.
Brady I hope Jet gets feeling better. Thank you for caring for the remaining chicks they are progressing rather well. Leon is also progressing well also. You're such an amazing person to accept those animals in your family.
So happt for a other video so soon! Big little crab sure looked upset when the food was getting dished to leon ❤️
He was giving Leon some side-eye there.
Brady, you really are the most perfect man. Your compassion for all kinds of animals is boundless, not to mention your calm resignation to whatever cruelty nature may decide to inflict upon your visitors. The outcome for the poor hen and chicks was literally heartbreaking.
Leon is certainly looking amazingly handsome!
Can I ask which species the stunning deep red bird is please? I'm in Scotland and have never seen anything like it here.
Thanks for keeping us updated on Leon's progress and, of course, all of his friends.
The beautiful red bird is a male Cardinal native here in the US and Canada :)
The red bird with the pointy cap is a cardinal, 3:23 they are common in the south east usa.
@EmilyGOODEN0UGH thank you, that's appreciated
My all-tme favorite channel. And I watch a lot of channels. Rescue animals take a lot of patience but over time you can see the change.
Each day is action packed and so grateful we are privy to your adventures..
Mother hen so fiesty and yet she had to go. Universe must have asked her to introduce her chicks to Leon's backyard, so the chicks have the BEST future!
What a brave Mama..she was ❤
The videos are so soothing. Thank you. It's always good to hear from you, Leon, and the rest.
Omg poor sweet Jet awwww ❤😢
I feel so sad for the poor hen and the chicks that didn't make it. And a part of me thinks "aw humans really suck" for what that neighbor did. And at the same time, those 6 chicks that got left behind that first night wouldn't have made it without your help. I'm glad you were able to save them that time and that you were able to take them in after they lost their mother. I hope Jett gets well soon!
A Leon video is always pleasant and relaxing. Good luck with the chicks, and with Jett. Note: I've watched rescues of factory hens. The first thing they do when out of their crates, with room to move for the first time in their lives, is try to take a dust bath. Must be basic and useful to them.
Omg yes how are the precious kitties doing 💖 😍 💕
Leon went from lobster roll to lobster roll model😂
Haaaaaaaaaaa awesome!!! ✌️✌️✌️🦞
I was so happy to see Brady's video, then sad, then happy again because I know Brady does his very best with the animals and remember people purchase items from Brady's store to help care and feed Brady's Bunch LOL, no pun intended. I made a purchase and Brady's store items are good quality. Thanks Brady, we love your heart...
Rough update. Thank you for sharing, I was glad to get to know the hen and the chicks while they were around. Hope Jet feels better soon
