Many years ago, a friend had two six month old kittens that were terrorizing his older cats and tearing up his house. He was boarding them at the vet, and they were about to go to the shelter when he heard I was looking for cats to adopt. It was a match made in heaven for me. All it took was a little understanding and the right environment for them to thrive. Everyone told me not to take them, but I did and it was the best thing I ever did. They grew up to be friendly and very affectionate cats that lived into their twenties. Sometimes all it takes is patience, love and understanding.
You are a special person for your never-ending caring of whatever you find! Love that! Also you may have snagged a few new watchers with that chick magnet tittle, live it! I thing biggy little (crab) was very adept at getting his piece of food from way behind him. Loved all of it! Thank you so much!
I love that ever since adopting Leon, you’ve amassed such a wild bunch of critters. I think it makes sense, these animals know your love for the outdoors and I think they find comfort in that.
I pray that all your chicks live long and happy chickens lives ! what an awesome pet parent you are! Jet is in my prayers as well. A few years ago, my black cat went through exactly the same thing that yours is. After a couple thousand dollars in vet bills and all the testing possible, she was diagnosed with having a "fever of unknown origin" That's the only thing they could classify it as. I had to just wait it out and do a lot of praying. She did fully recover without any residual problems. I hope he's doing better now and thank you for all you do for our beloved animals of this world.

The cops won't do anything. They don't care. Dogs have literally overrun society, people treat them as more valuable than human children. It's madness.
Yes. Irresponsible. Maybe with a fine and mandatory fencing...all Brady's animals will stay safe. It makes me mad. I have two huskies and every spring and summer we have birds that nest on my roof under the vents. When the babies fledge they leap for the big tree and some don't quite make it to a branch and end up in the grass. They've gotten a hold of a couple of babies and killed 2 about two seasons ago. Now, I have most of my backyard blocked off in the spring and summer so the dogs can't go anywhere near the trees or the other part of the backyard. There is a bush in the corner where they usually go to for safety. This season, I"m confident all the babies will stay out of my huskies reach...and they will stay safe. I just feel bad because they can't stay out long to play and have reduced running space. At night, I let them stay out a little longer but will have to worry about mosquitos LOL. Anyway...it's sad that such a cute breed of dog has the capability to kill. But yes...the neighbors need to be held accountable...whether those are/were Brady's chickens or not. So sad.
@@comtnmist I think all doggos have the capability to kill. All the kitties too. I have 3 very soft snuggly cats, and I've had to limit their outings because they kept bringing me 'presents'. Here in the UK, we have fewer and fewer birds around and I won't have my cats adding to the problem. The doggos are the same, if they get a chance and the moment is right. They're all carnivores so it's far too hardwired to not emerge at times, even though we feed them to bursting! Just the way it is. Responsible people like you (and hopefully me) make reasonable adjustments to cope with both our beloved pets and the wildlife surrounding us.
@@catsandcrafts171 If you make the choice to own an animal its your responsibility to make sure your animal does not have access to act on those instincts. Where I live dogs that kill other animals get put down and the owner is legally and financially responsible for their actions.

I feel like I'm watching my life on your channel. It is so beautiful how you manage to capture the beauty of the plants and animals you see everyday. I tend to attract feral cats and they are such wonderful friends. My last cat became suddenly ill this winter and they could not find anything wrong with her. She did end up passing away this spring 😢 but my neighbors neglected cat started living with me and helped me through the tough time. I told the neighbors I had fallen madly in love with their cat and they let me keep him. It's strange how nature works. I won't start with my lobster story, just thank you for being odd. ♥️

12:28 My cat did the same, when I got home from work we needed a little nap, and I had to lay with one arm out so she could put her head in my hand, and one paw on my arm 🥰 If I was done napping before she was, shed put out one claw on my arm, just enough that I could feel it, telling me to lay still, if I persisted to make awake sounds the claw would come out a bit more, followed by one more, until I had all five embedded in my arm. Once I had to persist, because I needed a wee, it ended up a bit bloody and very painful, and she didn't talk to me for hours😂

I hate what happened to the poor hen and her chicks who thought they had found a safe place to stay. It makes me worry about your cats with people like that living next door too - ugh. I’m glad you’re going to care for the remaining chicks. Chickens actually make wonderful pets, and they are young enough to learn to love being held if you handle them lots now! I used to have several pet chickens myself. Poor dear Jet. I sure hope he recovers from whatever is going on with him and feels better soon! ❤️

Brady, you really are the most perfect man. Your compassion for all kinds of animals is boundless, not to mention your calm resignation to whatever cruelty nature may decide to inflict upon your visitors. The outcome for the poor hen and chicks was literally heartbreaking. Leon is certainly looking amazingly handsome! Can I ask which species the stunning deep red bird is please? I'm in Scotland and have never seen anything like it here. Thanks for keeping us updated on Leon's progress and, of course, all of his friends.
The sun art piece reminds me of CBS Sunday Morning! I remember watching it at my grandparents house in the summer when they would watch us. In between the segments they would have a piece of art that was sun related, usually with a facial motif.

I always watch til the end and appreciate every story with a smile. I have an appreciation for lobsters now that I never had before thanks to Leon and its nature show.
Whoa Leon has really turned out amazing. The galaxy blue he's displaying is incredible. The hen bringing her chicks is an amazing sign of peace, when she left and you brought out the ones you left means it's safe and she trusts you
Aww my rescue cat was returned twice. He was just not into people. Being a cat person, I let him just be a cat & express himself. Then bought a microchip cat flap. That was a game changer. That evening 3 weeks after having him. Came sat on my knee and gave me headbutts! Had him 10yrs now we are best buddy's. Well until flea n vet time ❤
I swear my cat chose my daughter. He's like a puppy around her. He'll tolerate me if I'm feeding him, but she's literally his best friend (it's sweet as hell - funny too because he doesn't much like any other humans lol). They 21 and 11 years old now. Still best buddies.
I am so thankful that I read the comments. The older I get the more I find it difficult to hear or let alone see animals harmed or killed because of the stupidity of humans. I'm bowing out early. I thank you for bringing out the insensitivity of some people. Even if I can't deal with it, some stories need to be told. You are doing the LORD'S WORK.
I'm the same way. It doesn't show anything so as someone who is just like you in that way , I encourage you to watch as you see the good deeds he keeps doing to protect the 5 chick's and how they are growing and thriving too.
@@donia1Thank you as I was going to bow out too, I can't bear seeing animals hurt, but I've stuck with it because you said you don't see it happening. It's so very sad.
I know all about vet bills for a cat. My 15 year old Trixie was diagnosed with diabetes. She has to go to the vet every two weeks and have her blood checked. Plus she gets 2 insulin shots a day. Fortunately my state passed a law restricting the price of insulin and it applies to the type that Trixie gets.
I'm sure your vet is doing the best for Jett. I'll just add that my male cat, years ago, got lethargic, and would go to a "safe place". After a bit of vet trips, we learned he had an enlarged heart. Something like 25% of male cats have enlarged hearts. They said he's not in pain most the time, just when he goes into the safe spot he may be. They could give him medicine, but it wouldn't stop the bouts of pain, and it would give him one or two more years than the 3 they were giving him. Sadly, I didn't have the money to continue to give him medicine for years, so I decided to just make him the happiest cat with the time we had left. He lived another 8 years, and while he occasionally would have troubles, most the time he was the happiest cat, spoiled with love.

Inquisitive little native bee at 6:26, awww
I love that ever since adopting Leon, you’ve amassed such a wild bunch of critters. I think it makes sense, these animals know your love for the outdoors and I think they find comfort in that.
Animals know they are safe at your house. 🥰
But they weren’t this time. 😢
This is now one of my favourite TH-cam channels! Love Leon and his friends.
Thankyou again Brad, I adore Leon and all the cats and creatures in your beautiful life. ❤
I love all birds, but those gorgeous red cardinals really make my heart sing!
Ohhh my heart 😧
Mother chicken disappeared: my head thousands thinking… fox… eagle… snake…kokuaburra… alien…. rocket….something attached the mom 🐓. Next finally she’s back what a relief 😅 to see mom back. 😊
Thanks for caring for the lill chickens.
Leon is looking amazing 🦞 ❤️
At the end: she lost her life…. How sad and angry. Here in Germany this situation we could take the neighbour to the court. Anyway your neighbour better court will be the justice of Karma from God.
May lill mom 🐓 rest in peace. 🙏🏻
Wishing you all happiness. Your house is blessed and will remain blessed. ❤️ 😊 🧙
Turn the neighbor in. There is a leash law.
EXACTLY!!!!!!! Please turn these narcissistic irresponsible people into the police!!!!!
I just love the hen, she went back in the morning to her spot, she must have expected her chics to be there. Thanks to you, they were
Brady thank you so much for taking us along with you to enjoy nature. Your videos are truly a gift. Very sorry about Mama hen and her 3 chicks, and I hope Jett soon feels better. I lost 2 of my kitties to urinary blockages but that doesn't sound like Jett's cause.
I hope little jet is getting better!❤😊
Thank you for this. I always look forward to Leon and your menagerie. I hope your cat gets so much better.
I love your videos and I'm so sorry about mother hen, you are so blessed to live where you do. Your videos are so beautiful, you're always surrounded by Nature. Thank you for being the man you are and taking care of all of these lovely animals that come interior life
Im ragin about that neighbour!!!
Leon is like your real life Pokémon.
Very much enjoyed the animal segments. Leon gets lovelier and lovelier. His blue is so rich.
Omg that poor hen and two chicks that's terrible 😢
Rough update. Thank you for sharing, I was glad to get to know the hen and the chicks while they were around. Hope Jet feels better soon
Leon is so good looking and charismatic that he attracts chicks from other species! 😉
Best wishes to jet.We had 1 stray rooster who stayed in our yard then he seen 12 females and a male walking by and he chased the Male away and came strutting proudly back to our yard with his new harem.
So sad for the mother mother chicken and her babies! It was fantastic to see the cardinal, my son lives in Texas and the first time i went i saw a cardinal i couldn't believe such a colourful bird ! I also had the pleasure of seeing a monarch butterfly omgoodness that was just wonderful! Coming from England and seeing such beautiful colourful animals! Thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful videos, i absolutely love them !❤😊
I love your channel, it brings me joy and peace. You kindness and love for all the animals is wonderful. I love Leon. Thank you for all you do.
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching. ✌️✌️✌️🦞
Did you see the podcast where comedian Bill Burr talk about watching Leon during covid lockdown? He was duly impressed, as one might expect.
That is very cool! I have heard about it, but I have not seen that episode.
Do you have a link to that?
@@mopseydocks6014 Unfortunately YT doesn't allow url links
I knew I liked Bill Burr
Lovely that can look after these lovely animals.
A real joy to watch this channel.
Sending Leon love!
Just this morning I had to take baby nestling bird to the local wildlife rescue sanctuary. My cat brought him to me last night. Baby bird was in good shape though he will survive. Thanks for helping all the needy animals Brady. You are good people.
What a beautiful cat jet is. I will pray everyone stays happy and healthy. You are a wonderful human Mr Bradley. ❤
Can you report neighbor for animal breeding violations?
So glad Leon is doing well. I’ve followed his journey since you first brought him /her home. Magical. I’m a Leon fan
Once again, I catch myself smiling while watching your videos. Thank you for that.
I'm really worried about Jet. I hope he's better soon! ❤
Keep it up and you're going to have a Petting Zoo before you know it..... and I am SOOOO for it!
Thank you for all that you do ~ for ever-amazing Leon, all those gorgeous kitties, and now, the chick's!
Please do keep up on your fantastic, fun, yet, inspiring videos you put out.
Much love to all. ❤🦞❤
Greetings from the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Best wishes and greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! Coming to your neck of your woods mid to end June 2024.
Hello from my 2009 Pontiac G8 (Commodore VE) & I in Phoenix Arizona USA🌡🔥
Hey from Brisbane! Neighbours! 😂
I so love Leon. & the big little crab. Poor Jet. Hope he’s better soon… I am so very sorry about the hen & chicks. At least the other chicks have a wonderful home. You are such people ❤ thank you & thank you for sharing them with us.
I am always enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing Leon. Kitties. And the chickies
Mr. Brandwood, Your love of animals has restored my faith in humans. Thank you so much.
Sorry to hear about the hen and three chicks, but you're good for helping the other five now.
Hope Jett will get better soon!
Interesting that Leon's back patch is changing as he gets bigger.
Sending you, Jet, the chicks, and the rest of the gang peace and love!! You're going to love being a chicken dad
Such a wonderful environment...You're very lucky and it's so awesome, seeing Leon is looking better than ever...Those of us that saw him from the day you took the bands off his claws to now and then the move, can only admire your life...:)...Love all the new additions to your preserve family...
Our cat, Jack, loved watching your cats today!
The beautiful red bird is a male Cardinal native here in the US and Canada :)
The red bird with the pointy cap is a cardinal, 3:23 they are common in the south east usa.
@EmilyGOODEN0UGH thank you, that's appreciated
The sun art piece reminds me of CBS Sunday Morning! I remember watching it at my grandparents house in the summer when they would watch us. In between the segments they would have a piece of art that was sun related, usually with a facial motif.
Thanks for the update on Leon, the cats and the new additions. We used to have chickens - they were fun to watch.
Amazing. Fantastic coverage. Cats and kittens.
You got schooled in bird mothers and protection of their little ones. hehe. Leon looks spectacular these days with his blue colors. .
Great to have an update on Leon n I'm so sorry lil Jet is feeling under the weather and so sorry about the mother hen n the chicks .
I have loved that dag lobster since this channel first took off about his journey now its a whole animal show. and all the little creatures from almost every walk of life are featured here. I always watch til the end and appreciate every story with a smile. I have an appreciation for lobsters now that I never had before thanks to Leon and its nature show.
Whoa Leon has really turned out amazing. The galaxy blue he's displaying is incredible. The hen bringing her chicks is an amazing sign of peace, when she left and you brought out the ones you left means it's safe and she trusts you
❤️❤️❤️🐓
I thinks your cat sensed what was going to happen to the hen 😭 and is emotionally disturbed. They're very sensitive
The hen was so beautiful---I'm glad that some of her chicks survived. I'm also sending love and light to Jett. Thank you and all the best!
I hope Jett feels better soon. Thank you for taking in and caring for all these beautiful animals, from the cats and kittens, to Leon and the chicks
In the midst of sickness and sadness, your calm voice is comforting.
Awesome kathrynr! Thank you so much for watching! ✌️✌️✌️
