Another great video Gerry. Wow, drought in Ireland, that's new. So far even out Native American tribes have done their rain dance. Nothing.....😩 So cheer up.
Same model topper here even though bought new in 2007. Has the 3pt hitch a slotted rather than a holed plates on RHS to allow for movement ? I made plates to go on outside and they stop the pin falling through. If u follow me. Have covers to do too but they are not nearly as bad I see u have the black flaps too back and front. Some came without them
Our abbey had the same problem with the rust on top. I cut it off and got a sheet of 8x4 aluminium chequered plate and used silicone and hexagon head screws. Great job and will never rust again
Good idea topping that. It will kill annuals and control others. The mulch will hold moisture better when some does come. Is there any dew now worth mentioning?
Had to do the exact same thing last week we planted 12 acres of barley for whole crop and 6 acres grew okay and 6 acres didn’t have a bit of barley on it. Who would have thought after months of non stop rain it would just dry up and stay dry you can’t win

Yea I think it should work well. Spraying would have set grass back too much. We’re getting very little due at night with the heat.
Hopefully it will come good. A look at the maize anytime soon?

Umbilical system water them if you could before they get too weak
You’ll not be long making up a few panels for it
Never would we think we would need rain in Ireland
Will you let young calfes on it go eat it up
Between too much snow and warm weather the farmers will not shut up
