My opinion for you not advancing. Push until contact is your go to advice but you were bleeding him dry. Forcing him to commit on your terms and the kill ratio showed this. You could not have done better. You presented dilemmas, not problems. He could not sit back but him pushing was also a bad idea. A unique one off plan born from initiative as opposed to rigid doctrine.
There is yeah. Take it slow. Watch your own replays to see what you can do better/different or what units the enemy has against you. It's a steep learning curve.
