Thank you for this video! Pottery teachers usually do not spend some time with their students to teach them the kinds of tools and their usage. We are supposed to understand through practice (that's what my teacher keeps saying) and be inventive in using whatever helps as a tool. This is correct but I think a small tutorial like that would be very useful for beginners!
0:48 I sliced my thumb open doing that with a metal rib. I think that's a talent right up there with tripping over my own feet cuz I haven't heard that happening to anyone else.
