I think Ten is the most human but also the most scary Doctor in New Who. He is all smiles and go lucky, until ... Then you see what really hides behind that big smile/grin of his. I LOVE him
Couple of "Classic Who"-related fun facts on this episode: - The pseudonym the Doctor uses, James Robert McCrimmon, is actually the formal name of a companion from the Second Doctor's run from 1966-1969 (though the Doctor and other companions just called him Jamie). - The actress who plays Queen Victoria in this episode, Pauline Collins, appeared in a Second Doctor story in 1967 as a girl who helped out the Doctor and his companions; and who also fell smitten with the above companion Jamie in that story. Because of how good she was in that story, the producers almost made her a permanent companion, but the actress wanted to move on to other acting opportunites.
Oh my god, I love y'all's reactions so much. Paula is becoming more and more emotionally invested with each episode. She wears her emotions on her sleeve and it's wonderful to watch the wheels turning as she makes these connections for the first time. Katrina's encyclopedic knowledge and knowing glances at the camera, I just love it all. Thinking about what is to come, especially that episode where...well, SPOILERS! ALLONZ-Y!
You prolly dont care at all but does any of you know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
"Who doesn't love a man with glasses?" - Thank you Paula, liking you more & more each episode. ;) Can't wait for the next one, a fan favourite for many.
Ah, Tooth and Claw... this was my first episode of the New Who. A good friend of mine said: "I have to show you someting. I think you'll like it..." Kung-Fu Monks, Werewolves and Queen Victoria? Boy, did I like it!!! xD
Pssst. BTW, Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who. When RTD was developing the return of the series, he had to call it something else in case people heard about it before he was ready. So he used the anagram of it.
Another episode so soon!? 😱😱 yes please. I really like this episode. I feel this would have been a better episode than New Earth as it’s really the first time we get a whole episode of 10 and Rose interacting without interference. Christmas special - he was sleeping the whole time New Earth - Cassandra was jumping bodies I LOVE the chemistry between these two btw. Even if you don’t like the characters (which I do trust me lol) you can’t deny David & Billie are just so in tune with eachother, just so fun to watch.
I've never quite been able to understand the hate ten and Rose get from some parts of the fandom. I especially don't understand the people who say they love series 1 Rose, but hate series 2 Rose. I do prefer Rose in series 1, but she's still very good in series 2 imo.
Not sure this has been mentioned yet, but I love the foreshadowing in this episode with the series/season 2 finale. In this episode, the Doctor presses his ear to the barrier/door and the Wolf presses it's ear to the other side. Just like when the Doctor and Rose press their ears to where the "door" between the dimensions was in "Doomsday." And we all know that Bad Wolf=Rose. "I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself." - Rose in Season One's "The Parting of Ways"
I really like this episode. An action packed adventure, it's what Doctor Who does best. Love the setup of Torchwood and especially the way it's done with Queen Victoria being disturbed by Rose and the Doctor's behaviour. Really looking forward to the next few episodes! Some of my personal favourites.
Novaximus thank you so much, man! We put a lot of work in time and thought into some of that stuff so it’s really nice to be appreciated for some of that! We’re proud of it ourselves! Thanks again!
Great call Paula, figuring out this was a werewolf story so early in the episode! Great reaction! And so pleased with the new two episodes a week format!
@@KatAlysha It's also appropriate here to compliment your self-restraint and the way you react just above microexpression level when it would be so easy to spoil Paula and it adds greatly to the overall effect.
@@johnukey I was SO PROUD of myself for guessing correctly in this episode. And yes, that's a great point about how amazing Kat is with not accidentally spoiling anything for me.
Glad that you two are back with the reactions. So much good stuff to come and I look forward to seeing what you both have to say. Tennant is one of my favourite Doctors (classics Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker are right up there) but I'm just a long time fan of the show. See you next episode! Allons-y!!
I ask this of all TH-camrs that watch Doctor Who, please watch The Curse of Fatal Death. It is an episode made for the BBC's charity fundraiser, Comic Relief. It is also unabashedly a classic Who parody.
Queen Vicky points out something that will come back along the rest of this season... and with Clara. Some Companions aren't healthy for the Doctor to anchor him. Some companions, the ones he gets romantically involved with, are *reckless.*

A2=My answer for that is... the full moon isn't full moon at all (this isn't even the weirdest thing that happen in this show) my theory is, every full moon, it isn't always 100% full moon. And when the time comes after few decades, it will be 100% full moon, and then the werewolf desendant will now start to attack. And the doctor find a cure or something, so all the werewolf blood lines gone forever. :v I know, it's a long comment, and weird as well... I just wish it become a canon episode or something XD
@@KatAlysha Glad you like it. Hey, if you love comedy sketches, watch Studio C sketches. There are like only 2 of all their sketches involving Doctor Who, but it still watchable, and enjoyable. Huhu.

That being said, we’re well aware that it technically should be called “series”, but since we’re Americans ourselves, it’s just more common and easy for us to explain in the way we do things (improper or not). *brain explodes*
Specifically Torchwood was the fake production name they wrote on tape recordings of DW which had to be couriered from Cardiff to London.
