Osaka sensei is so good, I really like him. I try very hard to do what he does. His karate is smooth, effortless and so nice to Watch. I trained many times with him. He is a gentleman. Please show me someone better than him, I dare you
Why do such eminent instructors display such rubbish as bunkai? Kanazawa and Kenneth Funakoshi, (among many others) used to do it as well. Highly experienced people proposing totally useless "applications" just seems weird.
It seems like they are not allowed to show the real stuff, as it would be too dangerous for the average person. I saw Naka telling the cameraman to stop filming when he was going to show something serious.
I'm sorry for the people who believe in this stuff...but this is such paainful thing to watch. Please think about the serious student who watches this nonsense video as a guidance and falls for it. Sigh...... I just strongly believe that this Osaka guy does not know anything.about Kata.

@aito, as other people told you here , you don’t known what are you talking about. Shame on you. Master Osaka is one of the best Kata performer of all times. His movements are so ease and natural that it seems that anybody can do them, but when you train at the Dojo you realize that you need to train and train for years ( not watching TH-cam videos) to reach Master Osaka’s movements. I recommend you to look for a traditional Karate Dojo, train hard and respect others.
