This is a 2006 Chevy Silverado 4.8 Vortec V8.
This scan tool uses Tech2Win a scan tool for Windows computers.
This is the same as a Tech 2 scan tool.
You can use the scan tool to see what air bag sensor to replace.

But those are aftermarket replacement parts which people have reported to have varying degrease of success with. Especially with GM trucks like the silverado. He was way better off getting used OE GM ones at a junkyard then buying aftermarket replacements from the parts store. My 06 Silverado has had the airbag light on for over a year now due to these sensors.

great video, at a guess you could probably take a multimeter to the junk yard and test the ohms and compare it to a good one
