When they fixed up the game for the ps3, the graphics evolved slightly, not a whole lot changed. Sometimes they dont always load in or they glitch. Otherwise, this game did things no other ps2 game was doing. The ps4 version was entirely remade, Wander was different, physics glitches were cleaned up a bit, all the colossi looked more realistic, everything was overall better. :D
On Hard mode, 6 Colossi have additional sigils (weakpoints); the first four (Valus, Quadratus, Gaius, Phaedra), and also Barba (#6) and Argus (#15). Phaedra has two, the others have one. 1:12 Valus (+1) 2:46 Quadratus (+1) 4:35 Gaius (+1) 6:05 Phaedra (+2) 8:00 Barba (+1) 23:50 Argus (+1)
Pro tip: for phalanx when you pop all the air sacks it might dig itself in the sand. and when it re-emerges you can jump on it’s back, skipping the need to jump on it’s wings

The loyal following this game has going on 17 years now, should be enough to get the attention of SONY so that we can get a true sequel or at the very least a director's cut with an expanded map, the missing 8 colossi, & full access to the very top of the main temple. There's really no other game like it, well except for "Praey For The Gods" which seems to be a bit overlooked despite being a very nice spiritual successor.

At 8:32 you use the momentum of his thrash to yeet yourself to the vital area on his back. This is an elite move. If you know you know. I used to do this with number 16 when I was younger on PS3. There's a moment when you're on his hand and he raises his hand up to look at you. If you're very good or played the game multiple times you can eventually become skilled enough to use this momentum to launch yourself to his head.
For the 3rd colossus, let it break it guard and then attack the left arm first, then the body and then finally the head, I had a minute to spare, hopefully it helps
The jump stab (not the technical name) i believe is the equivalent of a full charged cling on stad... Reckless but perfect if properly timed 👍. (I miss a lot and reset often but looks awesome if (expertly) correctly timed 👍). I'm using this guide for all difficulties and i only watched the first colossus be taken down. Good job 👍
@@robotecgaming4336 Not really. I dont mean wiggle around If I am on them. Except maybe the one that you push down with a torch. I mean If they dont want to stay aggroed or just walk around and If they want to do the move that I need them to do.
(5:30) For the fourth boss I defended it faster (on hard mode, also my first time playing) by luring it to the hill where the front legs are on the hill but not the back ones and then jumped on the edges on the legs😅
W-why is the bearded one so much easier in hard mode than in normal? Also the hound one will NOT stop moving so wanderer literally won’t even begin the stabbing action... ANOTHER THING, the bags under the flying sand one, I shoot them so many times, but they just don’t pop Last one took me about 128 tries 🙃
You dont need two rounds to kill dirge (#10) Hit the first weak point as much as possible but dont finish it completely then you can destroy the second weak point and he wont move
I spent ages doing that trophy for him. I learnt to jump on his belly when his arm moves into a good position. If you practice on different strategies. Your find one that works for you

I can’t make it past #16 on normal time attack. I can get to the part where you have to run behind the barriers the second time and he knocks me off into the trench every time. Super frustrating!

By now you probably know the answer as to what happened, but if not...you found a gold coin. Sometimes when you pick one up you get an error code, but most of the time that doesn't happen. That's why it's always a good idea to save at a prayer shrine when you encounter one. So, if you collect all 79 gold coins, you can open a door on the outside of the main temple & go into the basement where your reward awaits.

@@berosar Yeah, at first no one knew what they were for & a massive search to find them all took place. I found 74 of them on my own & it took about 200 hours. I know a lot of people had mixed feeling about the final reward, but since I like exploring I was fine with it. Hopefully one day we'll get a director's cut which will feature full access to the very top of the main temple, & of course those 8 missing colossi.
Please respond somebody... Im almost done with my hard mode save which is what I started the game on. When I finish there will be hard time attack unlocked. Do I need to then start my new game plus on normal to unlock normal time attack? Should I have not started the game on hard? How does this all work?
If you haven’t already this past year, do it. A, the visuals are breathtaking, B, the framerate isn’t dog crap like the original, and C, the controls are actually controls. It honestly makes the ps2 version pretty much irrelevant unless you really want the nostalgic feel of it. The ps3 version was great, but again there’s really no reason to play it when the ps4 version is so amazing

Tried to get through the whole game without using a boss guide madd it all the way to #10 then couldnt figure out what to do. Like seriously how would I go "oh obviously I need to ride my horse and shoot it in the eye!" Lol

Avion is a piece of crap I swear the stamina in the time trial is to little I just fall off I've been stuck for about 4 hours and I haven't even beaten him yet (hard mode)
@Gaming I have beaten the game, but when I press R2 at the mound of dirt the fight just starts in reminisce mode, there is no time attack option. The fight just starts. Very confused! Do you know what I'm doing wrong or is the game broken?

Beating 3 on hard time attack was probably the most satisfying thing I’ve ever done in this game, mostly because of how goddamn hard it was...

When you on Maluss left hand if he will move his arm enough close his chest you can jump and take that fur near the weak point

You can attack 2nd colossus weak point (on feet) with sword :-)

Pelagia is impossible. Sometimes he just leaves instead of climbing on the structure and there is nothing you can do about it. Completely rng based.
