I have a few Otter Messer knives. They're pretty decent knives. Not quite Boker quality but far from cheap Chinese made traditional knives. They're solid users for sure.
I had that exact knife. A piece of crap. Huge gap between the liner and the back spring. The blade was off centered to the point of rubbing against the opposite liner.
@@CNYKnifeNerd yeah I was high on pain meds when I shot this guy, I thought it was Meister but realized when they wore off that it was messer and not Meister which makes more sense

I love that old world traditional knife. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great fit and finish too especially for the price
absolute work knife, great review. What do you think of the Otter Messer Webermesser? It has a nice wharncliffe on it :)
Haven’t gotten one yet so I couldn’t say
You spell it "Taashn Mess'r" (Messer like "what a mess"). :-) Very nice review, though! Your German is very good!
Otter makes some nice stuff. I rather enjoy them.

Sorry to hear that mines still going strong no problems with mine so far
Taschenmesser just means pocket knife
Or bag knife as well as Taschen means bag as well

Thats a literal translation of each word, yes, but taschenmesser (messer, not meister) is pocketknife in German.
