Hey lady! Been watching and learning for a while now-you’ve helped me a time or two and have inspired me on several moves. I’ve been skating for a long time and ventured into artistic skating a few years ago…LOVE it! Now..the sadness….I lost my lower left leg in February due to a work accident and have been devastated that I might never skate again. I’ve recently been told that with the right prosthetics I can. They cost an arm and a leg ( maybe I can negotiate 😅 ), but once I can get one I will be re-learning everything from scratch, starting on a trainer. I am determined to do this and will document the whole process….please join me! Keep inspiring❤
Aloha Celia! I am so touched that you reached out and shared your story with me. I cannot compare my healing journey, it's very different, but it's been an 8 year one! It spawned @lightbodyenergetics my healing arts practice and TH-cam channel. I am stoked that some of my tutorials helped you in your skating. Healing teaches us so many things. About our determination, our perseverance, and our creativity. It sounds like amongst devastation you are seeking a creative path in your healing journey. I would definitely like to be a part to witness it. How do I do so?
@@appelusa Aloha! I won’t begin until I get the prosthetic- but will reach once I do. Thank you for answering me. It has been a journey of determination, for sure. Emotional roller coaster comes to mind. I never know which emotion will show up as I deal with all the pain I’m going through. We all journey our own paths and I am so glad that you used yours to help others. This is my intention as well. Keep skating and I’ll touch base soon!
Thanks Appelusa! I applause the wardrobe showoff with how-to directions, the wind and pivots gave you flaring fabric wings. 😀 I am taking artistic and derby lessons, and really appreciate the fill in tutorials.
Oh awesome I’m stoked you are learning art with derby. Will Give you an edge for sure 😊 and thank you for the confidence boost 😆 I was so happy they let me keep the wardrobe but decanted they canned the video 😢
Love your smashing outfit! Love doing pivots! Ha make sure you check your toes tops if they have loosened up. More than once I have loosened mine up and they come off from doing pivots. Thanks for the video!!!!!
AW thanks for letting me know! Now that I graduated university and settled into my new location I can plan more videos. Sounds good! I will put it on my list :)
Hey Celia! Depends on what is holding your toe stop in. Definitely use a wrench to tighten, not your hands. Hate to say but quality of skate will make a difference… sometimes cheaper models will have issues with toe stop parts.
@@appelusa Thanks for the advise! I roll on Sure Grip Fames - I know they limit me a bit, as I have been really pushing myself in artistic moves for about 2 years. I just don’t have the funds for a professional pair right now. I do always use my hands to tighten though- so maybe I’ll try a tool! Haha. Thank you again!
@@celiaeimer4938 those are good for amateur art skating! Yes at some point they will hold you back but for now yes just use the wrench to tighten the 😆😊🙏🏻

Oh yes that would have been good advice to add!
I can’t wait to see it Appelusa!!
I am so bummed- I found out recently it was shelved due to another music video for the minion movie taking priority.
:(
Been mising your tutorials❤ hope you can make a tutorial of the toe stop spin❤
AW thanks for letting me know! Now that I graduated university and settled into my new location I can plan more videos. Sounds good! I will put it on my list :)
I do that trick but i sit on the foot thats stopped and like do it idk if its a toe stop spin or pivot tho
Yes I know what you mean! Many people call it The Compass. Maybe more of a pivot? Cause it can be done on jam stoppers or no stoppers?
How can I keep my stoppers from loosening?-before I know it- they fall off! Haha
