Far over the misty mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns old We must away ere break of day To find our long forgotten gold The pines were roaring on the height The winds were moaning in the night The fire was red, it flaming spread The threes like torches blazed with light
The original song is Far over the misty mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns old We must away ere break of day To seek the pale enchanted gold. The dwarves of yore made mighty spells, While hammers fell like ringing bells In places deep, where dark things sleep, In hollow halls beneath the fells. For ancient king and elvish lord There many a gleaming golden hoard They shaped and wrought, and light they caught To hide in gems on hilt of sword. On silver necklaces they stung The flowering stars, on crowns they hung, The dragon-fire, in twisted wire They meshed the light of moon and sun. Far over the misty mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns old We must away, ere break of day, To claim our long-forgotten gold. Goblets they carved there for themselves And harps of gold; where no man delves There lay they long, a many a song Was sung unheard by men or elves. The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread; The trees like torches blazed with light. The bells were ringing in the dale And men looked up with faces pale; The dragon's ire more fierce than fire Laid low their tower and house fail. The mountain smoked beneath the moon; The dwarves, they heard the tramp of doom. They fled their hall to dying fall Beneath his feet, beneath the moon. Far over the misty mountains grim To dungeons deep and caverns dim We must away, ere break of day, To win our harps and gold from him!
Far over, the Misty Mountains cold To dungeons deep, and caverns old, We must away, 'Ere break of day To find our longforgotten gold, The pines were roaring, on the heights, The Winds were moaning, in the night, The fire was red, it flamming spread, The trees like torches, blazed with light...

Your videos are really awesome. It would be perfect though if you could include the letters of the keys being played. (or at least the white ones) Your content is amazing but it is pretty hard for me to follow without the letters =P I assume some other people might have the same experience... Thanks for the great work still...
Just a little question. If you cover a song from someone with a copyright, do you need a license or something like this to upload it? Or can you just do it?
As stated, this is at its core quite beginner level, which is perfect foundation to build up to a more advanced version. Personally though, I prefer to follow this version. It involves more keys for the left hand, but is still at an easy level. It may take a bit more time to master, but its definitely worth it for the added intensity! Still, thanks for this simple yet charming version of Misty Mountains! Here's the link for Gamber Piano Tutorials version: th-cam.com/video/GoHgiNUaOWg/w-d-xo.html

Even though it's simple, there is much emotion in this song
I can't tell you how much I love the Hobbit
RoseanneE no,love the books
For some reason i like more the hobbit than lord of the rings
@@GustavoAlves-ns1uz yeah I like the movies more too... don't know why 😂 even if there's not that much story
Same. I love both the book and the movies
The book has an audience of children in mind so while I love the adventure I’m a big fan of movie special effects, action and camera so....

Warning- Playing this will result in you growing a beard.
And you will shrink to 3 foot tall.
Lol
And you will meet a hobbit who will help you take back your home
True I woke up the next morning short and a beard
Sean Eales but did you mean a hobbit who help take back you home
Just close your eyes and listen to the slow sound of this song.
This is what Bilbo would play in memory of Thorin Oakenshield & Company.
Мелодия не сложная , но в душу засела ! Спасибо за ноты.

Anyone still listening to this day.
ciao
this is better when played in Strings reverb or brass tune on keyboard, Grand piano sux for epics and twice the speed!!
