Hi Morten,I have been following your content for a while now but never found the opportunity to leave a comment. One thing I really enjoy is the soft pitch of your voice almost whispering- maybe because being a nature photographer you need to be that way, and I really like it. Regarding the content, it is really very useful to know from someone who used all the gear in extreme conditions how that gear performs and how to make the best of it in those scenarios. Thank you for sharing.
Hello I come from the channel a bit of everything that your video uploaded. It is really beautiful everything and then sorry for my bad English but I was fascinated by your videos and your photos are really amazing
I just your videos, which are so inspirational. I always learn photography and special respect for NATURE. Stay blessed. Hope you see you in Denmark or somewhere at your exhibition.
I don’t know if you’d like it but there’s a small carabiner called a hero clip that I’ve added to my kit and it might be handy for hanging your solar panel. I have one on my bag itself to hang if I need or to clip something to it if I did a bit of shopping or something like that. 3 different sizes means you can get the right size for what you need it to do
Hello Mortoen I have been your fan since I have seen your first video about the Woodpecker. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to do wildlife photography. Please keep sending this great videos of your with new content everyday. I wish you the best of luck.
A very impressive setup. It’s amazing what is available on the market today. You must be the only person who carries more gear than me, though I’m not camping. A very interesting video Morten, thank you for posting.
This was very informational! I love your channel! If you need more batteries, Goal Zero makes the Sherpa 100PD. It's a small 100Wh battery pack that I have been using to charge my MacBook Pro 2019 in the field.
What a good video your channel is the best you deserve the best I love your photos they are so beatiful you are a freaking good photographer bro I love your vídeos and travels
Great summary of your charging equipment and strategy. I am very thankful for your experience with the charger for the camera batteries- that is something I urgently need. If I can offer one recommendation to you: For a small, light, portable drone I use the Parrot Anafi - and I chose it because it charges via USB-C (both, controller and drone batteries)! I think performance-wise it is similar to your mavic air.
Thank you for your inspiring videos. I love your enthusiasm. I found this video very interesting because I do a lot of backcountry camping, relying on solar for my power. Having just swapped AGM batteries for a lithium iron (in my spartan camper van), I'm now struggling through the winter trying to maintain a charge without destroying my expensive battery. How do you cope with charging lithium batteries in the extreme cold on your adventures?
Es impresionante el talento que tienes te deseo lo mejor de corazón la verdad se ve que te apasiona lo qué haces tu contenido es entretenido e interesante sigue así y nunca te rindas verás que los tiempos buenos vendrán ❤️
Big thank you for cover this topic in this video seperatly. It's so nice and helpful. I wish I would had this oportunities, when I did my long hikes in the 80th and 90th. Charging etc. was always a big topic. ... Today we need much more power for all our gear and so charging really became so essencial. Funnily even you just stay on some campsite or some hotel it sometimes need some nice planing and preparing to charge eveything poperly. I look forward for my next long stay e out in neature and I know your hints will help me a lot.
Thats actually pretty affordable gear Morten. I really want to get a campervan, tiny caravan or even boat in the future and solutions like this would be ideal!
You should come to Argentina! We have some beautiful landscapes And variety Of wild species of animals. I love your job, You inspired me too many times now. Sorry if I miss a Word or something, I'm not that good with English
I use the Anker PowerPort Solar (21W 2-Port USB Solar Charger) and have been very impressed how much better these latest generation solar panels are compared to a few years ago. Great video thank you :-)
@@TH-camTookMyNickname.WhyNot it's best to recharge a power bank rather than the phone direct. I live in UK so not sun but with clouds and one or two hours of sun I can get enough power ever day to recharge a S9 + phone and a GoPro with power left over. So I would say in a country with good sunlight it won't take you very long. But like I said it's better to charge the power bank instead of the phone because it works better that way.
Great tips Morten, this videos complements the really long one about all your gear! I have the Anker power bank and I love it, great choice ;) I have noticed that you have tape on both of your Stanley thermos, why? Thanks again, keep up the great work!
Great stuff - I have also been using a solar panel and power bank on my longer trips in the highlands and it works really nicely. Looking forward to seeing what you find on your photo trip :)
Great videos! I see a lot o video on the field and about gear, always interesting to listen. I 'm trying to do some wildlife photo aswell, but when looking your video and others i see your expert in animals, recognise the track of different animals and their habits. I found its hard to get this knowledge, information about animals and where to found them, the risk... especially if you are not from the country and dont speak the language. How do you prepare your travel, do you use local guide? Books? Do you have wildlife photographer network? I'm french living in vietnam, and i found little unsafe to camp few days in rainforest alone like you do without this basic survival and nature knowledge. Thanks for your recommandation of how you will prepare your in such area.
Hi Morten, you said you could charge the power bank via Input DC Jack. How did you do that? Did you use a connector for 3 USB outputs from the solar panel to one DC jack of the power bank?
