    I'm still debating if I should get front King springs or invest the money elsewhere... let me know what you all think about the lift and what mods I should do next!

    Wow what a amazing difference that makes! Looks awesome man! Now you just need some skid plates!!

    when removing the chamber bolt of the Strut it's a good practice to mark the placement of the bolt to get chamber roughly the same until you get an alignment.

      Thanks for the tip Preston!
      My Foz didn't come with camber bolts for the rear struts (only for the front) - did yours come with camber bolts?
      Maybe someone poached mine but my camber is still pretty solid at about 0-1 degree camber

    Love the lifted foz look 😍
    Also love how you make camera slides with your bare hands. The image stabilization can sometimes make too shaky clips very unpleasent to watch as it stretches the clip, so you're doing a really good job doing it as smooth as possible. Usually these stretches make me dizzy lmao
    Awesome car, awesome content, awesome creator, keep on improving!

      Thanks for the support Eren!
      For my cinematics, I actually use the Zhiyun Weebill gimbal and then use Final Cut Pro to stabilize it even more - the results do come out very nice! Hope this helps!
      Thanks again 😁

      @@davechangauto ooh so you do use a gimbal! I was surprised at how good you were doing it by hand lol
      Maybe invest into some camera sliders or build your own ones, DIY Perks had made a video on how to make one which seems pretty solid, tho I'm sure there are plenty of vids like that online. You seem to do a lot of these sliding shots so that could help do much more smooth movements!

    Great video Dave! I've been thinking about doing this to my Forester too. I think I want to do a stiffer spring and a top hat spacer for about going 2" lift all around.

      Thanks Chase!
      I agree with you too on getting both the stiffer springs and spacer. I've heard stories of builds using only 2" spacers and they continue to struggle with bumper sag with passengers/kits in the car
      The King springs technically lifted my Foz up about 1.4inches so I think the max I can do now is 1" spacer kit (before having issues with my CV joints)

      @@davechangauto Yeah im struggling with the rear bumper sag too so I think that is the route Im going to go too.

    Did you use the standard Forester shocks with the raised springs?

    • @davechangauto
      @davechangauto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep that's correct!
      Because I'm on pretty thick tires, I don't notice a big difference on ride quality

    Hey Dave! Are you still driving your boxster? Thinking about tracking a Boxster S, but would love your input!

      Hey Jay!
      Thanks for reaching out - The 986 has been having a vaccum leak so we've been trying to diagnose it
      Feel free to let me know if you have any questions and I can try my best to answer

    What wheel rims are those, and are they 4x100?

    Hi Dave, did you use standard height king springs or raised king springs?

    • @davechangauto
      @davechangauto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Benjamin,
      In this video, I am installing raised king springs. I am now currently running raised king springs w/ 1-inch spacers
      With my experience, I would recommend 2inch strut spacers with standard king springs - this would help with more strut travel and better comfort
      Hope that helps!

    • @benjaminkitching136
      @benjaminkitching136 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@davechangauto I have been tossing up between raised or standard height, as I don't want the saggy butt look on my foz. I plan on doing a 2" SLO lift later on so I will take your advice and go for standard height springs. Did you put the raised king springs in the front as well?

    • @davechangauto

      @@benjaminkitching136
      Yup, that's correct
      I am currently running 1" raised springs both front along with my 1" ADF strut spacers (also front and rear)
      Total of about 2" lift
      Hope that helps!
