I'm guessing it's partially because she can't cut the stacks normally due to those fingernails (which will probably haunt my dreams going forward).
Get an External battery for your Phone. Mostof them can charge a phone up to 6 times and have both the rapid charge and trickle charge options. You can run your phone while it charges and never have to stop filming unless you want. The battery should last an entire session, even if it goes for 12 hours.
