THANK YOU! I just began doing some appliqué in slow stitching. I found it difficult because now I know I was stitching in the wrong direction. Your tutorial is excellent in detail and cautions to consider.
I am going to do a large house appliqué, the size of an A4. I’d like to have a different colour in the windows. Do you have any advice on how I can do that? I’d like to keep the house in one piece. Should I put a window patch? Thank you
You could applique the house shape and then applique the windows on top. Or cut out the squares for the house and insert the colours underneath and then reverse applique.
