    Something I think you seriously overlooked is the Stricture. Fargrave is anything *but* a lawless place, and there's a good reason an invasion is rarely even considered, never mind attempted.
    Daedra who enter the city are compelled to follow the rules of the stricture, and it is physically impossible for them to break it. They can't harm creatures outside of self defence, or even damage / interfere with the workings of the city, which includes the plaza of portals. Even mortals, who aren't bound by the stricture, are at the mercy of daedric enforcers called the Grasp.
    There are some regions such as the shambles which aren't bound by it, but they're occupied by competing forces who have a vested interest in working with those within the city to prevent others from invading. As to how or why the stricture is in place, is just as much an important part of Fargrave's mystery as its origins.

Whoever breaks the pact suddenly has four reborn titans working against them, and up to 4th era 201, no Prince has thought it worth dealing with.

    The Daedra have an undue bad reputation. It's just hard for mortals to understand the Daedra.
    Not only do they have senses mortals couldn't begin to understand (they see the matrix code), BUT due to being immortal, they are wired differently (likely thinking cyclically instead of linearly) . Mortals are just too "simple" to fully comprehend the morality of a being that has no end.

    Could the giant skeletons of Fargrave be refugees from the Deadlight - the realm of the Daedra Lord destroyed by Dagon?

    I kind of like the idea of perhaps these titanic skeletons are waiting for something, kind of like skyrim and how all the dead dragons were waiting for Alduin to resurrect them. Like what if their entire purpose is to protect Fargrave from the Deadric Princes, as by sounds of it any Prince could easily use Fargrave to access any realm and yet they don't instead they struggle finding their own ways to get to the mortal realm. Either they don't know Fargave exists or they choose not to do it.

    Highly doubt they’ll sweep Fargrave under the rug, as in a recent interview with Todd Howard by IGN. Todd has said The Elder Scrolls Online has basically kept the series and lore alive. Or something along those lines. I’m not going to fact check. I just remember bits and pieces of the important information. I agree with Todd as well, were it not for ESO, pretty sure the hype for TES6 would have died 2 or 3 years ago. I mean re-releasing Skyrim every year is cool and all but like all video games, you can’t continue the series with a rerelease every 2 or 3 years. It’s redundant. My piece is done, if your looking to argue, this piece is all I have to say, so you’d be wasting your time trying to get a reply from I. G’day mate!

      Yeah I mean, I loved Skyrim and had never played the other games. I picked up Elder Scrolls Online back in like Jan/Feb of 2020 and have been IN LOVE because I was trying to scratch my Skyrim itch (but had already done everything in that game a million times) AND was getting sick of playing Guild Wars 2. I have never been more invested and interested in the lore of the Elder Scrolls than ESO. Being able to visit so many places and see all their different cultures...(Summerset is my favorite overall), all the different ruins, mysterious realms whether Daedric or otherwise (like Sotha Sil's Clockwork City or the Psjic Monk's Artaeum), there is just SO much love put into this game and the lore of the Elder Scrolls. I mean, I don't wanna get too much into the game mechanics and all that because that's more controversial though, personally, I love everything about it. But what is definitely true is what you said and I think even more than that, it hasn't just kept Elder Scrolls alive, it BROUGHT it to life. Never before have players been able to interact with Tamriel and Oblivion so completely and dynamically. Being able to travel to the Pellatine or Anequina and look out to the West to literally see the giant grahtwood city of Elden Root rise above the mountains is AWE INSPIRING every time I realize what I'm looking at. The same is when I'm on the coast of Auridon, the 2nd of the Summerset Isles, and I look west to Summerset and I can see the Crystal Tower or Shimmerene in the distance while the waves crash upon the shore and the music soars with gentle, proud and elegant melodies. And then it starts to rain and thunder cracks in the distance. Pure immersion into the world of Tamriel.
      Skyrim made me fall in love with Skyrim and the potential for this universe, but ESO made me fall in love with Tamriel and being able to finally share that with other people in real time as we journey together to places previously only written about in in-game lorebooks.

    Yes! Finaly! Never doubt for the brothers always teach everything to everyone!
    Btw i have a theory about azura based on what we knoe about her and what khajiiti mythos tell, i think azura is equaly daedric and aedric, responsible for creation as much as the aedra but in different ways, i also think azura is a gatekeeper between the 2 major realms and the many realms within the 2, i think azura is what keeps oblivion (the void) and aetherius (the light)
    She is also responsible for one of the barriers that protect nirn from oblivion, the other 2 being sotha sil's covenant and the dragonfires, she holds the lunar lattice, and then azura is also responsible for the day and night cycles, azura is also responcible for them non aedric groups of paladins dedicated to protecting mental states and physical states, one being dreams, otgers being artifacts, she made 2 races too, point being she is so multisided and interesting :D and so many things show her to be more important that ever then any other prince, other then malacath to the orsimer and mephala to being the foundation of governments

    Fudgemuppet, this question is completed unrelated to this video but I’ve been wondering for a while if the last Dragonborn could travel to the Red Mountain and use the tools of kagrenac to tap into the Heart and achieve godhood the way ALMSIVI did? Could you perhaps do a video on this theoretical scenario?

    • @Sanguivore

      Considering that the Last Dragonborn is already a mantling of Shor, I'm pretty sure they already qualify as a God.

    • @TheStrudelJonny
      @TheStrudelJonny 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sanguivore for sure they do but maybe the last dragon born can go even further than that and achieve immortality like the tribunal

    • @Sanguivore
      @Sanguivore 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheStrudelJonny Who's to say they aren't already immortal?
      Considering they possess the soul of a literal Dragon, and it would appear that Dragons don't actually seem to die unless they're absorbed by another being capable of absorbing Dragonsouls, I find it likely.
      And I believe the last Dragonborn that mantled Shor was Tiber Septim (if I'm not mistaken; I haven't studied the lore in a few years), and he became Talos and is almost certainly immortal.
      There's more pointing to the idea of the Last Dragonborn already being immortal than them not being.

    Alternate Theory: what if this realm is the remnant of the realm that belongs to the being that became Zenithar? His lingering fingerprint and easy access to multiple Realms would attract very commercially minded people.
    Since ESO takes place in the past it would make since that his almost abandoned realm would still be "closer" to the Mortal realms and easier to access by said Mortals

    The possibility that Daedra princess can die... Now that is something.
    But so is the concept of Daedra making a realm, in a similar way has the Aedra.
    I love both these ideas...
    Though personally, I think Fargrave is just one of many ideas, that thee godhead set aside... Like how a writer makes chapters for a book, only not to use them in the end copy.
    Or how I draw a character countless times, only to use a different version of them.

    I wish there were playable daedric races. I understand why there isn't. But I think it would provide a whole new concept they could toy with in the series. A whole game dedicated to traversing daedric planes and exploring them to learn more about the daedric races and species.

    daedric realms being part of a daedric prince could also be concieved of as the realm and the prince being one in the same, like how the planets are the aedra. perhaps fargrave is a very stupid prince, not able to manifest a sentience. or perhaps its sentience or sentiences are dormant in some way, be that a sort of sleep or a sort of death or something similar that we have no word for
