Stone is such a stupid unit of measurement for weight lol. Like if I say my weight in stone, 14 stone 9 pounds, (205 lbs). So you still say pounds for an incomplete stone which is 14 pounds. So if it still uses pounds, might as well forgo the stone and just say it all in pounds so we don’t have to do math. Even my British coworker thinks stone is dumb haha.
@@discopotato675 You don't want to use pounds, miles, pints, inches, feet, and ounces? Welcome to the future. Well done. Wait! You just used pounds? That's Imperial. The metric version is kilos and is slightly over 2 pounds. edit: Wait! You just used miles. That's also Imperial. Do you know what Imperial is? If it's the British system and not the French one it is Imperial. Here's the trick. Try and divide it by ten; If the result is totally unusable you're using Imperial.
lol it wasn't even near a real squat. I think Brits care about doing things right, while the Americans care about winning no matter what. Which in a way is fair!
The difference on the squat depths is huge, that extra 4” of depth and he was taller was huge. Over the hundreds done that would be massive. His squats would not have been counted by UK trainer.
@@FarrenMorgan I think the issue maybe UK does squats parallel to ground and US I think knees at 90 degrees. Knees at 90 is the same thing if the squat done properly with back lean forward for correct COG in bigger lifts but you can do a shallow 90 if you stick your backside out instead. Always should be filmed from the side. Exercise difference is even larger if you do bum out to make it really easy. It’s why his squats were so shallow given he was shorter. No point doing challenges if they are not adjudicated correctly.
Love them both. I love the military either its American or British or whatever they are in, I honor them. It's fun to see them compete against each other.

Brit here, hats off to Marc what a trooper. Both men gave it 100% but Marc just had that extra bit of determination. I couldn’t manage 10% of what these blokes can do. Awesome.
I wanted Farren to win but Marc did so well that I am glad he won, he deserved to. Although, if the weather had been overcast or raining Farren would have been in his element 😂. Also, Farren's squat form was better, but it seemed like he saved up energy more and Marc put more energy into his workouts.

Who do I root for? I can't really say. Every soldier is an individual with exceptional strength, endurcance and a will to give their life in the line of duty. Just love the amount of respect between our forces lads and lasses. And that we love having each others back when there’s a scrap somewhere on the planet. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
If you read some of the books written by ex SAS you find that physical fitness is just a part of being a soldier, mental ability to keep going in the midst of horrendous conditions, along with fully absorbed knowledge/training to match a given situation...
12 Hours of intense workouts. Both these men are machines!
Being a Brit (and ex-forces myself), I did hope that Farren would win, but have to take my hat off to Marc. What an outstanding performance and great humour. I really loved his "do you have a needle an thread?"..."Why?"...."Cos I am ripped!" 🤣 Honestly though, top marks to both.👍
Massive respect to a fellow ex-forces Brit! Looking forward to securing the win during the UK Rematch 💪
@@FarrenMorgan Thanks Farren! When will the rematch be? Confident you will nail it! 🏆👍
I do not understand why people keep talking about the former British service member like being a retiree makes you less capable. They are just doing physical head to head and the British guy is a beast. It is all fun and game. People need to chill 😂
I dont think a lot of them realize that marc being a sergeant major has at least 20 years in
I absolutely loved the good nature of everyone in this video. Whilst competitive, both soldiers continued to joke, and continued to encourage one another. Not a single gloat or sore loss in sight!
As a former soldier of SGM Dibo I can confirm he likes to do The Murph once a week. Had our whole Platoon doing it sub 40 🤣 best shape of my life
I am British but I’m voting for both soldiers because I’m just happy we have soldiers to protect our country❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Couldn’t have said it better myself-proud to be part of this shared mission and to have had such incredible support 🔥
i LOVE Our British Allies !!!!
@@FarrenMorganay it's the lad himself
Respect to both of you!!!! As a Retired Army First Sergeant, CSM was killing it!!!! His Soldiers must be highly fit to keep up with the old man! I salute you both!!! Hooah!!!
The respect they gave each other is great to see.
The respect we have for one another is what makes these challenges so special. Thanks for the support!
I’ve been slacking on watching your videos Austen and this one was a great one! Rooting for my U.S. patriot, but loved the camaraderie between both soldiers. I hope you get them likes!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Happy to see my buddy D-BO!!! Such an aspiring leader!! Stay strong brother! Still in the game killing it!! - WEST
Absolutely awsome.I am so proud AND impressed with these young men.GOD BLESS THEM.
Holy shit. 13 miles carrying 120 lbs!!!!! That's impressive
8.5 stone* If you want to use our antiquated Imperial system at least do it correctly!
@Jimgalvin2191 ex British Royal Marine recently did 15 miles carrying a 200lb strongman yolk in USA - St.George Utah. He documented the whole thing, check it out on his youtube
@@BadgerUKvideo I don't want to use your "antiquated imperial system." 😉... But, thanks!
Bless to both these hero's much love to both you guys.. thankyou for what you have done and continue to do for us all. much love from the UK. X
The US lad is only doing half squats, his upper leg is not going down beyond the horizontal. Accummatively that makes a huge difference.
They were both great. But fair play to Farren for doing it in a climate he's not used to 😂
Haha, the heat was a definite game-changer! Thanks for the support 🔥
Marc squats again were no where near the same as farren lol
Marc gained significant time by not doing full deep squats,
Incredible both of them
lol it wasn't even near a real squat. I think Brits care about doing things right, while the Americans care about winning no matter what. Which in a way is fair!
@@rungeon83bro your so correct
The difference on the squat depths is huge, that extra 4” of depth and he was taller was huge. Over the hundreds done that would be massive. His squats would not have been counted by UK trainer.
The depth definitely made it a killer, but I'm looking forward to the UK rematch! 🎽
Fair play lads thats some fitness levels . Well done both you smashed it .
HEY AUSTEN! My name is Austin and I wanna get on that challenge! Marc you’re a beast and Farreh y’all inspire me to push for more in life! Thanks for the awesome video!
Absolute beasts..well done gentleman, that was outstanding ☺️👏🏾👊🏾
Amazing work from both individuals! I got tired just watching this lmao! Much love from the UK.
I'd be dead after one set. Hyperfit dudes doing hyperfit stuff. Legends!
Awesome video. I have to say that Marc is inspirational. He's a very muscular guy, doesn't look special or anything, but then look at that performance! Incredible. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Bravo to both of them 👏
Brilliant video both men highly trained, we seriously don't appreciate how much they go through to keep us safe. Would be great to see the Navy seals against the SAS .
The SAS train the navy seals quite often bud look it up 😎 there's not a force in the world compared the SAS they're the original SF and were the inspiration for other countrys around the world who introduced special units to their militarys.
Who Dares Wins 💪🇬🇧
2 amazing soldiers. Gave it their best and the better man won. Fair play to Marc he was solid and well done Feron for competing and not making excuses👏🏾👍🏾💪🏾👊🏾
The original American Paratroopers were trained by the British. The special operations was also modeled after the British, and the intelligence services
Both are badasses in my book. 🇺🇲🫡
marc was awesome. i mean just on his motivational talk and his camaraderie and humbleness is what is needed more in this world especially the military
Thanks for rooting for me! Marc absolutely earned it, but I’d definitely love a rainy UK rematch one day 😂
Why did you tell us that Marc one cause what if you were looking at the comment before the video was over and then you spoiled it?
I'm Canadian but I'm cheering for the UK.
I’d hope so as we’re basically cousins.

Funny thing i was watching Devon larrat the other day and hes absolutely clueless on the UK, He was saying the UK dont have any athletes and he couldnt name a single athlete from the UK and Canada has allot more athletes, And i was thinking his poor son is soaking that lack of knowledge up, It was so sad to listen to, A man that has clearly no education outside of his home town.

I appreciate it! It was an honor to go head-to-head in this competition.🔥
I don't know how these men kept going over 12 hours very very impressive
I’d say both won in my book. They both put out a great effort.
Couldn’t agree more. At the end of the day, we both pushed ourselves to the limit!
You know.. there’s always gotta be one of those guys, that’s me today. My British brotha is simply not used to the heat so he’s immediately at a disadvantage. Do the same thing with the same people in the uk, it will be more of a fair test, plus you’ll get more views for the ‘British edition’
Haha, definitely wouldn’t mind a UK rematch to balance the scales! Appreciate the support, brother 🔥
heat really does make a difference if your not used to it. especially if you havent filled yourself with electrolytes good fkin luck lol
@@FarrenMorgan Also only do half squats next time Farren
I've been waiting, another upload from you!
Just unbelievable performance from both of them.
If the weather had been piss poor with rain and grey clouds, Farren would've taken it. Except for the rope climb ofc. :D
Im British so im cheering for the Brit! The US are our friends so I want both to do well
Thank you for the support and I agree! It's all about camaraderie and mutual respect and we did a good job of showcasing that 🔥
The US are most certainly not our friends. They may be our allies but they are not our friends. They demonstrated that time and time again.
Both men are beasts but only 1 did proper squats, not really fair but oh well!
For sure but squats were not the only thing in the entire thing so
@@Killdozer100 they were a major part of 2 exercises that could have been close and tipped the board
@@artemislogic5252 ight but they still were proper squats the UK guys just went deeper and better but theu still are squats so it still is fair.

Good eye! Squat depth was a priority for me, but Marc’s strength and pace were incredible. Respect all around and I'm looking forward to the UK Rematch!
That may be why Marc struggled more with the burpees 👀
Im an American but as I see it, we are on the same side. Nothing beats friendly competition! May the best man win! 🫵😉
It'd be interesting to see this done in the Brecon Beacons.

Who do I root for? I can't really say. Every soldier is an individual with exceptional strength, endurcance and a will to give their life in the line of duty.
But as for countries, wars and politics... I'd say this. Just because you can win a war, doesn't mean you're the good guy. But if you start one, you're definitely the bad guy.
That being said, I respect everyone in the military, because the military doesn't start wars. Politicians do.
