  • This video covers some improvements to my Multi-Router Auxiliary Plate.
If you have not already watched my previous video on the auxiliary plate - you may want to do so. • Multi-Router : Making ...
This video will only cover modifications and ideas for future modifications. The previous video will cover the basic operation.
Again - I will release for free the TurboCad file - dxf file and the svg file. Whether you have a CNC or Shaper Origin these files should allow you to cut the auxiliary plate out.

I'm a novice with CnC and tools like the Multirouter, and I can see the potential that you do! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Vic ! How are things going? Any trips planned to this side of the state?

@@DarrellPeartFurnitureMaker probably spring before I head that way again. At least, if the winter continues as it has. I want a tour of your Lincoln Park. :) My best to Terry.

At work we call that a CI (continuous improvement) event. I like your outfield table and I like your UHMW slides. your setup is a must have for long parts. Thanks for the update.

Thanks - I like the CI concept. One thing I miss about working in a large shop is the CI. One person would come up with an idea then as time went on - bit by bit others would contribute and improve it.

Is the multi router easier for making auxiliary fences and base plates for than the panto router?
Curious because the panto would move around those large pieces vs the large piece moving around. I know you’ve thought of this just curious as to the why as I’m sure you have a very valid reasoning.

It would be easy to set up support for long pieces for the PantoRouter. But I like the positive alignment holes on the Multi-Router which makes registration quick and accurate- especially for odd shaped parts.
