Everyone still had access. So, why make a big deal over nothing? Maybe when lives are lost, not inconvenience.... (That effected NO ONE btw) NO ONE EVEN KNEW ABOUT IT til he said something..... @@jimbeam8810 not really a secret. There are politicians like her all over the country. They’ve been shoehorned into positions of authority by federal mandate. They are rarely qualified and are almost always compromised from the start. They’re activists playing the parts of clerks, judges, prosecutors, DAs and even mayors, governors, and presidents.
The state has been rapidly expanding for half a century at least and it uses people like this as political meat shields. If we want to criticize what they’re doing then we’re just being racist or we’re just being sexist. They leverage this rhetoric to bully decent people into supporting these token appointees in order to prove they’re not prejudiced.
This is legit how Obama got elected. No one knew who he was. He had no accomplishments to speak of. He had no special plan. He was just a black guy and somehow that was translated into meaning that “change” was coming.
Nothing changed for the better though and he in particular elevated tons of these token activists into power. That’s why today we have so many DAs letting far left extremists out of prison after they burn down buildings (sometimes with people still in them), cause $2 billion in property damage and untold sums in lost revenue (mostly to small businesses), murder people, loot, harass, and set race relations back 60 years.
It’s why cities all over the west coast are now refusing to prosecute people for stealing less than $500 or less than $900 worth of goods. People walk right into stores, grab hundreds of dollars worth of stuff, and walk out with it and if the store owner tries to stop them *theyre* the one that gets in trouble.
Obviously it’s a reach to assume this lady is one of these people based on one sentence from a five second clip out of this video, but these sorts of people exist by the thousands in our government and most of them both look and sound like her

A town in Rhode Island did that about ten years ago. They divided all the dead end streets among the property owners and gifted those segments to them. Then they assessed them additional taxes to pay due to the increased square footage and then billed them for plowing their streets when it snowed. All those property owners got together and hired a law firm and it turns out that it's illegal to give property to someone without their knowledge in the state of Rhode Island so the town had to take back the streets and refund all the money paid them for this. Except there was this one guy who put up a tole gate at his share of the dead end street he lived on and he started to charge $10 every time someone used "his road."

Good one. In the 1990's radio DJ in San Diego bought the bridge that crosses the bay connecting Coronado Island with the city. He sent a check to the toll authority and made a note in the memo section, "For purchase of bridge." The city cashed the check, and then he sent a copy along with a demand letter asking for the title to his bridge. It was a joke, of course, however had he been so inclined he could have embroiled the city in a major legal fight: They endorsed the check which means, they agreed with the memo and therefore sold him their bridge. He settled for a resolution renaming it "Dave's Bridge" and a bronze plaque stating so which was mounted under the bridge. Forever after that station's traffic report referred to it as "Dave's Bridge."

And then the IT guy came to our floor, his name was also Dave and "to balance the force" this 60yr old man drank all 4 and left his own sticky note of "My name IS Dave! How great I found this green tea oasis, I'll make sure to mark it in my daily calendar to come for my Dave rights to these wonderous & easily gotten beverages!!" It was the pettiest and most hysterical thing to see a 35yr old man so upset he was stamping his foot and about to cry but the department head had already told him not to bother him about "lunch room drama" and then the whole floor started bring green teas and writting "for DAVE ONLY" on them... man, sometimes I miss being in an office cuz f'n Dave 😂

There are 2 empty lots of land at the end of my street. Neither is buildable due to a massive cliff on the back side. But yet every 5 years my town wastes money by having the land checked and when told it’s not buildable the town still auctions it off as buildable. The last buyer not only got his money back, he sued the town and won over $500,000. Guess what the town is doing again? Land surveyed and now going to auction as buildable. They also did this with a water from lot of land. Not wide enough to build a home. Those buyers kept it and now bring a huge RV and stay there a few times a year. Best views on the river.

A town near us had a utility contract with a cell tower company. The town received money/rent for allowing the cell company to build and maintain a tower on town property. This arrangement helped pay some utility coats and allowed the town to get regular police officers. All went well until the wife of the mayor, who was also the town clerk, sold the tower, sans maintenance, to a third party. At that point, she got a large cash payment and the town was no longer entitled to the income from the tower. Eventually the situation came to light. The mayor his wife. She went to jail. All their property and possessions were auctioned off to defray costs and debts that resulted from this.
This water tower thing? Hardly worth a sneeze.
