Seriously some of the best history content I've seen in a while, pleasant and exiting to look at and with the music it becomes an experience. I found your channel recently with the full length World War 1 video, the narration really takes it to a cinematic level that is beyond words - that being said I hope you make a video like it about the Russian Civil War.
I like how the iron cross in Berlin changes to a swastika for a brief fraction of a second right when the Kaiserschlacht begins 3:43 maybe hinting that Germany was already a military dictatorship for two years at that point in the war. Nice attention to details!
Hands-down the best map video of WWI in Europe that I've seen. The level of detail with the various political entities is astonishing and can't be found elsewhere on TH-cam. You not only correctly represented the Grand Duchy of Finland, virtually always missing from other map videos, but you even represented the Finnish Senate and Parliament returning the larger degree of autonomy to the country that had been illegally taken by the Tsar prior to WWI, post-February Revolution in March 1917. Perhaps another layer of detail could've been added by representing the Finnish Senate de facto making the country independent in November 1917 prior to the declaration of independence in December. One could also nitpick that the denoted control over the territories in East Karelia bordering Finland has some errors, but the fact you represented Finnish control there in the first place, again something virtually always missing from these kinds of videos (or they get the territories in question completely wrong), is astonishing. Great job! Liked, shared and subscribed.
This is insanely good! Thanks for your existence and your videos! Dare I ask you about the soft you're using to make your content? Most mapping content-creators use PhotoShop or paint, which could be really cool in right hands, but I guess it's not that simple here
The "Allies" were actually called the "Central Powers" or at least "Central" Plus, if we make it grey'er, it would be a bit more easier to see, but otherwise, great video!
Very good work (the French and British bloody battles of 1915-16-17 had an insignificant geographical impact to fit the scale of this map. To put on .25 speed gives time to follow. To show the stream of ships from Commonwealth-France- USA could add something. The African/Caucasus/Middle-East theaters are not shown. The Eastern and Balkan theaters are definitely brilliant 🎉. Very good !
But Italy wasnt on their side, and Germany, Austria-hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottomans are widely known as the central powers. I'm not complaining or anything, just wanted to point this out. I guess you could call them the allies but i think the central powers is better.
@@JakovRaicevic Italy, Germany and Austria-Hungary had the defensive pact in the beginning, but after ww1 started, Italy decided not to join the war on Germany's side and later joined the war on entente's side. Ottoman empire joined the alliance later, during the war.

@@witherblade7558 It was the “triple alliance of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy” which was formed in response to the entente. WWII was a different war so why does that matter
@@henryF6 nope, the triple alliance never was a alliance it was a defensive pact. With the same logic as yours why can’t I call the triple entente the axis?
@@witherblade7558 1. pact and alliance are definitionally interchangeable. 2. because “axis” was the name the axis powers used to refer to themselves. I’m not saying you’re wrong for calling them the central powers. My point here is that the term “central powers” is arbitrary and not a term used by the alliance in question. Thus, the channel is not incorrect in calling them allies in the video.
Geography, terrain, river, mountain and even weather!?
Congratulations guys, you found god-tier mapper.

Thanks hav! I will. The Russian civil war is many times harder to map than WW1, but I will get it done. Narrations will come back too.
@fullworldmap I love you video your my favorite war mapper ever ❤️ ♥️
If this does happen I BETTER see my BELOVED Pyotr wrangel being presented
Amazing as usual. Can't wait for a full-length video about the Russian Civil War

A masterpiece as usual. Can't say I'm surprised

It's crazy how well done you made the video😮🎉
This is the most amazing map I've ever seen. Good work buddy!
How does one make a map like this
After effects, It's simple actually.

Fantastic work! I think it would have been nice to have a more distinguishable color for Germany and friends so it pops out on the map more though.

i'm guessing After Effects + Premiere Pro or a similar duo
this is the most underrated mapping gem found
Wow this is the best of all previosly. I enjoyed it, thank you , its amazing video. Specialy the galipoli campaign i need to use all possible zoom 😂
Bro these mapping videos are just INCEEDIBLE? Maybe adding moving army sizes would make ot cool
i hope this reaches youtube's recommendations

Interesting how crazy everything gets at the end, must've felt like the world was ending at the time
It's very impressive how you make the maps.
Aint no way 💀💀 we got ww1 rtx remaster
Magnificent work👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
Will you do the interwar period wars?

Super impressive!
Can you do ww2?
This desperately needs more views.
is this an animation or game? i use ages of conflict for my videos but this is next level.
it's animation.
Woulda been cool if the allies were a more visible color
Do ww1 if the central powers won ur videos are so cool looking so much detail I love it 😊
Can you make a tutorial?
Top quality!
Remember Germany didn't start ww1 its Austria-Hungary Empire and serbia
Quite impressive as usual
Keep it up
whew, great vid puts all mappers to shame
Can you do like different scenarios like WW3 or 1v1 wars and so on
Moldova raaahh
🇲🇩🇭🇺
You accidentally labeled the Central Powers as the “Allies” XD
very good, but the allies of ww1 aren't the central powers and the comintern didn't exist in 1918
I really loved it but its hard to see territories of germany and her allies
Que gráfico lindo meu deus😮
Ah yes, the allies vs the entente. A great historic war.
Allies means the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria, Italy)
