    Hi. Glad you were brave enough to make this video, thanks. I really can not see any reason why I should not be able to change my dirt tyres with a mousse now. The semi inflated tube replicated having a mousse inside - to my mind. 😂
    Personally I would have left the rim-lock where you originally had it when refitting - around 1 o’clock. Then just push it inside as the final part of the tyre drops in place (as I do on my current changer - TMT4). Regards, Darth. U.K.

      it's tough to get the tire into the drop center from opposite side due to mousse. If the mousse is not too big, maybe...

    Thx for doing demo, I have street & dirt bikes, I was wondering which Rabaconda would be best for me.

      if you don't use bib mousses, then Street can do both

    Have you tried the Street Changer with a dirt bike wheel with Tubliss system?

    • @Rabaconda
      @Rabaconda  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Not with Tubliss, no, we haven't tried. It does not work with mousses, but works with air tubes

      @@Rabaconda Thanks for replying. I have your dirt bike changer and would like to be able to do both street and dirt tires with one machine. The Tubliss has a rimlock-like device on the inner tube but not conventional rimlocks. I purchased the Street Changer and will give it a try!!!

      @@SpankYa awesome! Let us know how it goes. You can us via website as well. Please address to Jakob. In general, for Tubliss we tend to remove one side of tire to one side of the rim and then remove the other side of the tire to the opposite side of the rim. And then lift out the rim from inside the tire. See if that works also with the Street Tire Changer

    Possible to lock wheel position by rotor or sprocket. Seems like a lot of force on nipple.

      we have used full body weight on the handle and never done any harm on the nipple

    For my 1290 adventure is the street the way to go? Even if i wanna try to put hard tyre like dunlop?

    • @Rabaconda
      @Rabaconda  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. For the rear wheel, you also need the Big Hub Adapter.

      Thanks! But please note that the Street changer is not compatible with mousse inserts. Mounting bib mousses with a duck head mounting system is impossible. You cannot get the tire into the drop center from the other side, as the mousse “inflates” the tire. There is simply no room to operate the duck head. Same as you cannot use an industrial tire machine to change tires with bib mousses. For the rest of the tires, tubeless or air-tubed set ups, the Street Bike Tire Changer is a good option.

    is that scratching up the rims?

    • @Rabaconda
      @Rabaconda  ปีที่แล้ว

      nope. tire irons scractch, but not a pastic duck head. We've done most delicate wheels and not a scratch

  • @valiant7357

    Looks like it scratches the heck out of the rim

    • @Rabaconda
      @Rabaconda  ปีที่แล้ว

      contrary! Tire irons scratch rim, not plastic duck head

    too complicated, I will keep using my tire levers

      We did this video to test the Street Bike Tire Changer and get reassured that for dirt bike tires, the 3-Minute Tire Changer and a good set of tire levers is a better option.
