@@SimonLivertonCentral Hello Simon Someone has kindly corrected me and informed me the metal device is an atomiser, I’m not sure what the difference is between an atomiser and a heating element without googling it, however I’m still glad that people do comment and by doing so we all learn by this!
@@tony-helmsdeepmodelrailwayoosc Thanks for that Tony, hmm semi-sealed unit with only one way for the vapour to go. Thanks, that's answered a big question.
How big is your table as in the length and width
Cv 211 and cv 212 set steam volume for chuff and idle.
F24 turns the atomiser on and off separately to sound.
Thank you for this information it’s much appreciated
Excellent information

I find TH-cam an excellent learning tools, as long as the Trolls keep away. Being at the beginning of my layout build I am learning all of the time.
Any sign of a fan drive for the chuff effect or is it solely the piezo disc being turned on/off by the circuit board and hall sensor?
Hello!
No fan to be seen in this set up, so my guess is the ‘hall’ sensor switching the heating device!
