I had no issues with 23. Only time I ever lost a safe file was on WWW 13 and that was after nearly 2 years of playing, by then 2K16 was nearing release. With the stun meter people either love it or hate it. I like, it helps simulate those momentum shifts you see on TV where one wrestler takes control of the match for a moment. With Sparking Zero that game does look really good, but I think FighterZ is still the best a DBZ game has ever looked. SmackDown VS RAW 2011 was my first wrestling game, that game got me into wrestling. I actually became a fan of WWE during the "Dark Ages" late age Vince McMahon booking during the 2010's. Still there was highlights. Mark Henry's Hall Of Pain run was absolutely amazing "THAT'S WAT I DO". Randy Orton VS Christian is a feud I still remember. You had OG cult leader Bray Wyatt which is still possibly the best version of him along with Harper & Rowan as the Wyatt Family. There was a lot of shit, sure, but there was still highlights. I still remember Seth Rollins breaking Corporate Kane's leg, Kane gets carried to a ambulance. The vehicle moves like 5 feet and stops as it fills with red smoke. Demon Kane then bursts the doors open and starts limping back to the ring, just to stop, STOMP his broken foot back into place, then start walking back to the ring going on the hunt for Seth. Like even in his senile years, Vince still had the occasional moment. Favourite games are tough to nail down. Well for PS2 it was unquestionably SVR2011, no contest there. PS3 is interesting because I stayed on that console right up until 2K17, though back then the last gen version was basically still the old engine with roster updates, it's not like now where PS4 gets the same game as PS5. So due to having nearly 2 years of play time on it as I skipped 14 & 15, maybe I'll give WWE/2K 13 the nod for PS3. PS4, even though I enjoy 24 despite it's flaws (I even had fun in MyRise), maybe 19 or 23. Online, to quote Kenny Bomb, "now that's what we DON'T care about." lol But yea some interesting ideas and quality of life improvements here for sure. A quo for online wouldn't matter to me as I wouldn't play it anyway. But I can certainly see it being a big help for a lot of players.

That game also has a budget of over $10 million. UPW is working with, what, 40-50k from kickstarter, and whatever they may get from Patreon? I'd be tempering those expectations if I were you.
@ I’m a diehard game person. That would be great if there was another fight forever game if not, it’s all good. Yeah, it sucks when it came out it wasn’t completely done. It was kind of broken and then it was fixed. I guess sometimes it can be worth waiting, but it’s been talked about since 2019, which was ultra Pro Wrestling and then 2021 with the Wrestling code.
The reason we dont want The City to make it to WWE 2K is because its microtransaction hell. Let me tell you what a city mode in WWE 2K would be like if its just like NBA 2K. Your created wrestler starts off at OVR 50. In order to raise your attributes you have to grind for months just to get it to OVR 51. But you can pay hundreds of dollars in real money to buy microtransactions to get to OVR 99 immediately. What about your attire? Moveset? Entrance? grind for months to unlock a single thing or spend real money to unlock everything. So by the time you updated a SINGLE CAW to get what you want, you have spent hundreds of dollars in real money to do so. F THAT. That is why we dont want The City in WWE 2K
I would love a UPW World champion, world tag, world Lucha Libre champion (some kind of special rules for high flying) Usa champion or national champion could be #1 contender if they win in there attempt at the world title then the Us or national title would become vacant. I totally agree no street fighter and Tekken style gameplay. *As it makes the game feel like you're playing hybrid between UFC, Mortal Kombat, Tekken and Street Fighter and WWE game is losing it's identity* Give us back WWE 2k19 style gameplay mechanism and where you push analog stick in any directions with 1 button for. Light strikes after you push it in any directions, and if you push the analog stick in any directions while pressing the strike button. It does heavy strikes with combinations of moves which was easy to learn. And then maybe you could implement button mashing combinations on top of that to please both fans. But regardless of that we need *chain wrestling back, create a finisher mode and create a story mode and updated graphics and details levels on wrinkles to create realistic looking old people since Hulk Hogan won't be featured in WWE 2K25 we can create any old person to be him with wrinkles cranked to max and see the details on his face to make him old genuinely 80 year old* We also need new match types iron survivor, multiman special guest referee, I quit match, strap match and stop the game from crashing 2K24 is unplayable because it freezes and crashes so much!
Hopefully this year or soon we should find out when ultra Pro Wrestling and the Wrestling code should be available

WWE 2k25 needs a gameplay overhaul! No street fighter button combinations to do a bodyslam 👎
