Well, I guess I have to put my hand up and say I was wrong - the new build you've put together for Duchess really does look good. Even getting rid of the shield, if that's what unbugs Close Encounters, is clearly a positive (I'm not sure we knew that would work, but clearly it did). She probably won't be shotgun sniping like before, but since the focus is obviously now to get her into *CLOSE RANGE,* aim shouldn't be an issue. As you showed here, the psionic stuff synergizes well with Close Encounters, since you can take a shot and then use the extra action for a psionic ability if you want. Keep in mind, her psi strength doesn't affect guaranteed-hit damage-dealing abilities like Void Rift, so she can use those for full effect even if you don't trust her to Mind Control the tougher enemies. To really max out her crit potential, though, remember to give her the Talon Rounds (you can buy the Bandolier ability for an ammo slot if you need it). Now, just get her back out there once she's available! Also, every single episode since the very first run. Keep up the great work!😁
friendly reminder that you have either a war suit or a spark (or both) on basically every single mission so building some experimental powered weapons will go an awfully long way
If I understand that trait correctly, the HP reduces from the base amount, not overall amount with armor and other things, so you need to be careful not to kill the guy accidentally. And to answer the question: I did watch every video in this run, and try not to miss my comments A flawless job, Commander!

Careful with Pathways of the Heart there, I think it counts the health without armor or Vests, so activating it "a couple times" could get Puddin Pop killed faster than you might think. Also watched every episode, as well as some past seasons :D
Is this a whole week of XCOM or a whole week /without/ XCOM? 😂I've watched every episode of this season. I put them on my second screen while I'm doing something mindless at work. I watch 'em at 1.5x and I skip the intro, the MVP photoshoot, the biographies, the credits, and the memes, which tightens up the time commitment a bit.

OK, I retract my comment about Duchess on the previous video, she's fine without her shield. I didn't consider the possibility of Close Encounters ability working when you removed her shield, that makes her an action points machine and is obviously better than Shield Stability.
Seeing as how equipping her with a shield makes her Close Encounters not work, I think she's just better with a Psi Amp now. Yeah I also wanted to see her with a shield but it's just straight worse since that ability doesn't work on one-handed shielded weapons since they're not counted as standard.

Going back to a more discernible pitch. "Every Skirmisher has a story, most remember and others forget. You know of mine, I think, but I'd like to know more of yours?" ----- End Log -----
I have watched every episode on day of release, (non member) said it would take 130 when asked how long it would take (on track) and as far as meld goes don't have to send bolth, it either will negate the negative
If I understand "Base Health" correctly, Puddin' Pop will eventually surprise Odd by just dropping dead. The last group being behind you should not have been a surprise, you did see the trooper with Camazotz before engaging on the first group. Wouldn't be here it I hadn't watched every video this season. You obviously can't just skip episodes of this. And you really need to study the Codex brain eventually, don't forget you have the Shadow Chamber too.

It's been like... 20 or more episodes since getting new recruits, apart from the odd field mission capture. Is there any reason not to grab a few more rookies and send them on Covert Ops, like in the beginning? And then throwing them into training, he could have had 4-6 more Lieutenant or Captain rank soldiers in the mean time. Plus there's still classes we haven't seen. Why stop recruiting?

Which powered weapons do you use?
@@hellosir6627 Blasters and Shredstorms. Pretty much every mission I go on in the end-game has at least two blasters and one shredstorm on it.
3 rocket launchers on the next supply raid. If you could replace them with blaster bombs or shredstorms that would have been a huge upgrade.
Experimental powered weapons is a must now, specially they shred more than rockets and have more options that doesn't stopped by the next half cover.

Duchess already had a great build but that's next level.

Using Dutchess with a psi amp is great in some missions, but maybe not in others. It depends on the circumstances.

I tried Legend difficulty and I got my ass kicked. How did you even survive early game?! And the Veteran options sucks.
