what do you think about placing one in front and on behind each of the side seams (under your arms) then tying, basically having the look coming from your under arm to your hips?
Jessica Slattery absolutely. Just keep in mind the larger the shirt, the more volume you'll have below the lace up. So it could great a peplum look of it's really big. I'd only go 1-2 sizes bigger.

Michele Hollinshead oh sure!! Sometimes the materials are things in my kit that I’ve bought over the years so I’m not 100% sure where I bought it but I can link a store I know will carry something similar!

Cyn X I bought this at a place called Target Trimming in Downtown Los Angeles. I know they have a website but I’m not sure if this is on there. Your best bet will be going to your local fabric store in taking a look at the trends in person, so you can see which options podcast for your sweatshirt.

I don't have the eyelet tape just normal eyelets. How far apart to do you recommend to space them or how far apart are they on the tape
Totally up to you. Tape is about 1" apart
